The dazzling pillar of holy light slowly faded.
The giant dark figure was no longer struggling as fiercely as before. Its enormous body broke apart piece by piece while the endless miasma forming it was continuously purified by the overwhelming holy power. Large portions of its body crumbled into black mist before disappearing into nothingness. The giant let out one final roar filled with unwillingness before its massive body completely collapsed.
Haster watched everything with disbelief.
His countless eyes trembled.
"No..."
"This can't be happening..."
For the first time since the battle had begun, fear appeared on his twisted face.
Without another thought, Haster immediately turned around and fled.
"Stop him!"
Several Transcendent Knights immediately rushed toward him from different directions.
Haster's eyes flashed with madness. Instead of helping his own people, he suddenly grabbed several corrupted Transcendent Knights with his tentacles.
