The fierce battle continued without pause while the Saints from the Xylos side were gradually pushed into a hopeless situation and beaten back again and again under the relentless assault from Arcadia.
Duke Osantra personally cut down one Saint after an intense exchange of blows while the knight clad in golden armor stepped forward and slew another with overwhelming strength. The remaining Saints witnessed the deaths of their comrades and immediately abandoned any thought of continuing the fight. Without another word, they turned around and fled in different directions while trying to preserve their lives.
