Chapter 273 - Attack

Amidst the mist, blue light flickered, and Jaina's face was pale, but she steadfastly summoned a thick stream of water to collide with the lava, the sky-high mist and steam obscuring the figures of others.

Arthas scooped Jaina up by the waist, dodging the subsequent lava.

Though clad in plate armor, he moved with a speed no less than Sylvanas's as he nimbly dodged.

"We seem to have really angered him," Arthas's smile slightly calmed Jaina's mind; Ragnaros's assault had left her somewhat overwhelmed, "Are you alright?"

"A bit exhausted, but with Neptulon's blessing, I'll recover quickly."

Within a few breaths, Jaina's complexion improved slightly; the collision of several large-scale spells earlier had been a bit much for her, but thankfully, Neptulon's blessing had significantly boosted her recovery ability.

After setting Jaina down, light of dawn transformed from a shield back into a warhammer, but this time, its holy light shone even more brightly.

Under the radiance of the holy light, Jaina felt her physical condition improve further.

She cast several magic shields on herself, took a deep breath, and said, "I can continue fighting, Arthas, you go help Magni and the others first."

"Be careful, Ragnaros clearly still has strength to spare—he should be able to withdraw the power suppressing the seawater at any time."

Arthas reminded her, "If he truly chooses to do so, Jaina, then it will be up to you."

Jaina nodded heavily.

She felt her control over magic recovering and strengthening, "Don't worry, I won't let you all down."

Arthas left, gripping light of dawn.

At this moment, Magni and his two companions were busy dealing with the Sons of Flame emerging from the lava; these Elemental Creatures were echoes of Ragnaros's power, helping their master fight off the invaders.

A large section of Magni's chest armor was scorched black, and even a part of his beard was singed, but the Dwarf King continued to destroy the forms of the Fire Element with his axe and hammer.

Those Water Elementals that had been forced back by Ragnaros also returned to the battlefield, beginning to help Arthas and the others distract Ragnaros.

These Water Elementals attacked Ragnaros while subtly gathering together, preparing to merge into a larger Elemental Creatures to combat Ragnaros.

While Ragnaros's attention was temporarily drawn away by the Water Elementals, Arthas arrived beside Magni and his group.

light of dawn smashed down, instantly "scattering the soul" of a Fire Element that attempted to ambush Thoras.

"Just in time, Arthas!" Thoras pulled his longsword, which was slightly reddened by the high temperature, from the Fire Element's chest; the Fire Element, whose core had been severed, gradually dissipated beneath his sword, and tocaral's blade quickly returned to its original color.

Sylvanas fluidly shot several arrows, picking off the distant Fire Elementals one by one.

She touched her nearly half-empty quiver and said, "Dragging this out isn't good for us."

Thoras and Magni's chests were heaving somewhat; the continuous high-intensity combat had drained a significant amount of their stamina.

Even with Neptulon's blessing, fighting in an environment like Molten Core was an extremely arduous test for both mind and body.

"Windrunner is right, we can't rely on those Water Elementals! They are no match for Ragnaros at all."

Magni looked at the Water Elementals retreating under Ragnaros's attacks, feeling a bit helpless; these Water Elemental allies could only do so much; greater results needed to be achieved by themselves.

"Ragnaros's power isn't inexhaustible, and the spread of seawater also suppresses his strength.

It's just that the size difference between us and him is too great; we need to find a way to make effective attacks."

Arthas said, Ragnaros is not Invincible; he can also be injured and weakened.

Sylvanas's two arrows during the chaos had already proven the point, but Ragnaros's massive body made it difficult for these attacks to cause fatal damage.

Although Ragnaros could be weakened by accumulating damage, the time required would be much longer, and they clearly did not have such time now.

After listening to Arthas, Magni looked around and finally focused his attention on the stalactites on the ceiling of the cavern.

He chuckled and asked Arthas, "I have an idea!"

Arthas followed Magni's gaze and also noticed the sharp, hanging stone pillars, "That's indeed a good idea."

Magni let out a low roar, and his body began to expand, transforming from a normal dwarf into a small giant over two meters tall.

The power from his bloodline and the earth now flowed within his body.

His armor and weapons were also affected by this power, still fitting well and handy.

Magni stared at the stone pillar above, his thick arm gripping fearbreaker and swinging it fiercely.

The warhammer flew from his hand like a meteor, easily shattering the connection between the stone pillar and the rock wall.

The thick stone pillar struck Ragnaros's right shoulder, and the heavy pillar made Ragnaros's body tremble for a moment.

He waved his hand, and flames swept away the few Water Elementals in front of him, then raised his other hand with a warhammer, preparing to swing it at Magni.

Just then, fearbreaker, carrying the force of thunder, flew backward through Ragnaros's head.

The Fire Lord cried out in pain, and his warhammer slammed crookedly into the empty ground beside the group.

Arthas held out his arm, summoning a holy light barrier to block the impact.

Magni laughed as he caught the warhammer that had passed through Ragnaros's head, completely unconcerned by its scorching temperature.

He looked at the large hole on Ragnaros's face that couldn't close for the moment, understanding that his attack had been effective.

Seeing this, Sylvanas quickly fired explosive arrows at several stone pillars, and after blowing up their connections, the pillars continuously fell from above, crashing onto Ragnaros.

The rain-like blows made Ragnaros agitatedly try to raise his warhammer to attack again, but Arthas swung light of dawn, and chains formed of condensed holy light bound Ragnaros's right hand to the ground.

Ragnaros was shocked to find that he couldn't break free from Arthas's restraint for a short time.

No sooner said than done, Thoras leaped out, stepping on a towering rock.

tocaral drew a beautiful and dangerous arc, directly severing two of Ragnaros's fingers, which were composed of flames.

After landing from the air, Thoras rolled to dissipate the impact of his landing.

Ragnaros also broke free from the chains Arthas had created at this point, gripping the hammer handle again with his incomplete hand.

But this time, he did not swing the warhammer; instead, he infused flames into the warhammer, intending to cause a violent explosion.
