"We're here."
As Ironaya stepped into the hall of the Seat of Khaz'goroth, the magic runes in the chamber gradually began to glow, becoming brighter and brighter until the entire hall was fully illuminated.
Ironaya stared at Guardian Archaedas, who stood like a statue, seemingly never to fall, and said to Arthas, "He, like me, is on the verge of waking."
"What should I do?" Arthas asked.
"Just as you awakened me, the power Tyr once used can soothe his emotions to the greatest extent," Ironaya said. "You don't need to worry about anything else. Even if he loses control, I will work with you to restrain him until he returns to normal."
Ironaya's words did not betray any distrust in the strength of Magni and Arthas, which made Arthas feel that this female Giant must have obtained some information through some means.
Arthas once again condensed a surge of Holy Light energy and slowly began to use it to comfort the Guardian's soul, which was weary and scarred from countless trials.
After years of tempering and use, his Holy Light had surpassed almost all Holy Light followers of the current era, which was why his power instantly reminded Ironaya of her deceased friend.
The worrying accident ultimately did not occur. With a long sigh, Archaedas, the Titan Guardian blessed by Khaz'goroth, opened his eyes from a slumber that spanned an unknown number of years.
His voice was as deafening as thunder, "The slumber has finally ended, Tyr's successor, please tell me how much time has passed."
Arthas could not give an exact number for this, as the era this Guardian experienced had passed too long ago. He could only give a rather vague answer.
Immediately remember m.
After receiving Arthas's answer, Archaedas fell into a rather long period of silence.
"Such a long sleep... I sense that something bad is happening to this world."
Archaedas's mood was heavy. Although limited by Uldaman's resources and needing to preserve themselves from Loken's pursuit, Archaedas and Ironaya had no choice but to completely seal themselves and the city to protect the Platinum Discs left by the Titans.
They did not possess Tyr's powerful combat abilities. Once discovered by Loken and his minions, their fate was undoubtedly destruction.
Archaedas and Ironaya did not fear death. Loken was originally a noble Guardian like them, but the terrifying prisoner they guarded had instilled mortal thoughts into Loken.
This changed the once wise and steady Loken. A Guardian's will is as strong as steel; even the Old Gods could not easily corrupt it, let alone through the Titans' prison?
However, the cunning Yogg-Saron exploited a loophole. He initially spread normal thoughts and ideas, injecting a little bit of "humanity" into the Guardian.
And this became the fertile ground for evil to grow, until one day, corrupted and twisted thoughts completely erupted in Loken's heart. He transformed from a noble Guardian into the very existence he had fought against his entire life.
He even attempted to alter the information on the Platinum Discs, hoping that the Titans would not discover his betrayal, allowing his new master to quietly infiltrate the prison and once again rule over Azeroth.
However, someone discovered his change before he could act. Tyr, the King of Order, Archaedas, and Ironaya escaped Ulduar in the Storm Peaks of Northrend with the Platinum Discs, ultimately hiding the discs in Uldaman.
During this time, to cover the escape of Archaedas, Ironaya, and a host of creations from Loken's pursuers, Tyr willingly stayed behind to cover their retreat. A world-shaking battle erupted in what is now Tirisfal Glades.
The result of the battle was that the King of Order perished in a tragic manner, immediately taking one of the two K'thir—incredibly powerful evil flesh monsters born from the separation of the Old God's body—with him, while the other was on the verge of death and quickly fled the battlefield.
After Tyr's sacrifice, his allies and followers buried the selfless Guardian at the place of his fall, and "Tirisfal" in the ancient language means "Tyr's Fall."
Tyr's death left Archaedas and Ironaya heartbroken, but they had no time to mourn the great Guardian. They led the uncorrupted Earthen and other creations further away until they reached Kaz Modan and settled in Uldaman.
Because the pursuers were blocked by Tyr, Loken did not receive a response for a long time and dared not easily send more people to search for the lost Platinum Discs, as he feared attracting too much attention, which would not be beneficial to his master's plan.
Therefore, he simply created a fake disc, attempting to use the false information recorded on it to confuse the Titans.
However, what all the Guardians did not know was that, whether it was the evil side or the righteous side, their actions were futile, because the Pantheon had already been annihilated by the Dark Titan Sargeras long ago.
Now that Archaedas had just awakened, Arthas naturally couldn't drop such a bombshell on him immediately, otherwise, he would become a heretic in Archaedas's eyes and be instantly purged.
This matter actually didn't need him to bring it up, nor did it need to be hidden. Before long, Archaedas, whose thoughts and actions were unaffected by the Old Gods, would sense that something was wrong.
His certainty stemmed from the fact that another Guardian had already learned this news tens of thousands of years ago.
Arthas was now preparing to discuss another matter with Archaedas: the pressing trogg problem.
The trogg were not a particularly troublesome issue; the power of the Scourge alone had already suppressed their rebellion. But the problem was that the trogg's numbers seemed endless. If there was no way to deal with them, they would become a persistent hidden danger that could not be eradicated.
Arthas was about to launch an attack on the Burning Steppes and Searing Gorge; he absolutely could not allow such an unstable factor to remain behind the Alliance's lines.
The trogg were one, and Alterac was another. Only after these issues were resolved would the operations against the Fire Lord and the Black Dragon Prince have a higher probability of success.
With the approval of Ironaya and Archaedas, he naturally wouldn't be polite. Besides, the trogg themselves were defective products that had been sealed, and the Guardians would not ignore them.
"Guardian Archaedas, we have come here to find a solution to the trogg disaster. The city of the Gnomes, descendants of the Mechagnomes, is suffering a terrible impact."
