Ivy's POV
The woman stood over her fallen son, her face twisted in grief and rage as she screamed at the approaching goddess who walked with wolves at her heels. "How dare you come here with your demon spawn? Look what they did to my son. Just look at him!"
The three-faced goddess moved toward the distraught woman with open arms. Without hesitation, the mother collapsed into the embrace, her body wracked with sobs. "Please save him, Mother," she begged, her voice breaking. "I've dedicated my life to you and have never asked for anything. This is my request. Save him. Please." She pulled back, eyes searching the goddess's face, only to find a grim expression.
"I'm sorry, my daughter, I cannot," the three-faced goddess replied softly, continuing to hold the woman as her legs gave out beneath her. She crumpled to her knees, desperation etching itself into every line of her face.
"I will do anything, give anything, just save my son," she wailed, clinging to the goddess's dress.
