Ivy's POV
I sat motionless, maintaining eye contact with Faith as fury radiated from him. His jaw clenched, but I refused to back down.
"That isn't fair," I stated calmly, turning to face Jade.
"What isn't fair?" she spat back. "How you treated my mother like she was beneath you? Or that she finally stopped tolerating your ridiculous demands?" I studied her enraged expression with detached curiosity. "Neither of you has provided a single valid reason why I should intervene and ask her to move on. So my answer remains no. I will not help either of you."
I retrieved my phone and coffee cup, taking a deliberate sip before scrolling through my messages, ignoring Jade's growing rage beside me.
"Then fucking leave!" Jade exploded, slamming herself back with such force that her chair crashed to the floor. Her chest heaved with each furious breath. "Take your whore mother and get out of our house." Her eyes burned with hatred as I calmly set my coffee down again and turned toward Faith.
