The diary had mentioned that the "little kid" Spider-Man had actively hung up on Nick Fury's call.

As a playboy genius, Tony couldn't have known the details, but he increasingly felt that this Spider-Man was exactly his type.
He wondered how Spider-Man got his extraordinary powers, especially at such a young age in high school.
Judging by the diary, Spider-Man's strength was described similarly to Captain America's "tons of force" or feats like pulling a yacht or a high-speed train—clearly, Spider-Man had mutated naturally to gain superhuman abilities, unlike Tony's tech, Wanda's magic, or Doctor Strange's sorcery.
The question remained: who cruelly experimented on such a young child to give him these powers?

The diary also mentioned Mysterio, but Nick Fury had no prior knowledge of him. The name alone suggested a mysterious, cunning character—capable of deceiving even Skrull-Fury. Likely, Mysterio was involved in the Elementals incident, though the details remained unknown.
Fury's thoughts then jumped: had his future self really gone to space?
Future Fury had prepared thoroughly and had Skrulls impersonating him, indicating he expected to spend a long time at a space base.
Fury recognized his role clearly: he was a spy, a commander—not a field agent or an Avenger.
Thus, his future space mission likely wasn't combat-related but something else entirely.
Diary excerpt: Fury was made for espionage. From scratch on Earth, he rose to S.H.I.E.L.D. Director. Even after being "used" by Alexander Pierce, he nearly got killed by a superior, yet still managed to lead. After S.H.I.E.L.D.'s fall, he transitioned to space, leading the Sword organization—a galactic counterpart of S.H.I.E.L.D., dealing with interstellar conflicts. Even Captain Marvel works under this organization.
Fury was impressed: his future self had become the head of an interstellar intelligence agency.
Tony pondered the Skrulls' abilities. They could perfectly mimic appearances and even short-term memories of the impersonated person.
No one could detect the impersonation except the original person. During the Secret Invasion, Skrulls replaced many people flawlessly.
Tony realized: Skrulls were born to be spies—a perfect espionage species.
