Chapter Seventy-eight
Nazaka takes Aito to a flower garden outside behind the Castle.
Aito: "Did you do all this?"
Aito asked.
Nazaka: "Yes. Some of the girls helped but it was mostly me."
Nazaka said as Aito stood in the garden.
Aito: "..."
Aito stays silent for a bit just taking in the large span of thousands of Flowers about a small town worth of Flowers.
Nazaka: "Did... Did I do good?"
Nazaka asked as Aito nodded.
Aito: "Yeah. It looks... Great."
Aito said dazzled by the amount of time this must have taken.
A couple Hours later Aito was Laying on the Flower Field late into the night.
Kito walks into the Field.
Kito: "How are you doing Lil bro?"
Kito asked as he sat by Aito.
Aito: "I'm alright... but I'm just wondering... why should I box? It's irrelevant now anyway. With Equinox and Hell and all this now."
Aito said as Kito laughed a little.
Kito: "You box because you find it fun. And plus would you have met anyone that you know if you didn't box? Coach Fumio, Lucas, Naoki. Or even Shindou, Volk or Yoten."
Kito explains to which Aito still seems down.
Kito: "Sigh. What I'm saying Aito is you box for identity. You box because boxing is your identity. And your good at what you're doing. So keep at it. And don't just box for one reason. Box for multiple."
Kito says to which Aito lights up a bit.
Aito: "I get it now. So I should keep boxing. Even now?"
Aito asks.
Kito: "Yes. Even now. So let's get up up and ready for your next match. Against Volk. One of you're biggest struggle battles."
Kito said as Aito stood up.
Aito: "Will you promise to train with me for this fight?"
Aito said pumped up.
Kito: "Yeah. Promise."
Kito said standing up with Aito.
Later that night while Aito was sleeping he felt like someone snuck into his room, they sneak to his desk and write a note after a bit the leave to which Aito falls back asleep.
The next day Aito woke up and sat up shaking his head and looking Around.
Aito: "Yawn..."
Aito jumped out of bed and seen a note on his desk.
{Dear Aito, I'm sorry but an important mission has popped up that I needed to leave and do. I've asked Nazaka to train you for this up coming fight. Thank you for understanding your Big Brother. Kito.}
Aito stood over the note tears threating to spill from his eyes.
Aito: "But... but you promised..."
Aito crumpled the note and threw it out.
A bit after Nazaka walks into Aito's room.
Nazaka: "Aito?"
She looked around but Aito wasn't there in his room but she seen a note thrown in his trash.
Nazaka picked it up and reads it.
Nazaka: "Aw Aito..."
Nazaka flattened it and put it on his desk them went looking for him.
Nazaka Searched all around the castle.
Nazaka: "Where could that man be?"
Nazaka looks around confused.
Meanwhile Aito was on the roof with Vexara both walking the small line of roofing and Spikes of the pikes.
Vexara: "So... Are we gonna talk or..."
Vexara asked leading him to a dangerous secluded part of the roof.
Aito: "..."
Aito follows her his wings are activated and spread out to balance him.
Vexara: "Alright then stay quiet."
Vexara said as she started climbing.
Aito just flew up and landed on the top part where Vexara came and sat.
Aito: "Is this the spot?"
Aito asked.
Vexara: "yeah."
Vexara laid down and stretched big.
Aito: "Hey Vex. If you were promised something by someone and they didn't keep it what would you do?"
Aito asked as Vexara looked confused.
Vexara: "I'd probably beat them up!"
Vexara said to which Aito laughed but it came out more like a Scoff.
Aito: "I've made two promises. And so far one already broke..."
Aito said as Vexara nods.
Vexara: "So then keep the other one. One is better then none."
Vexara said as Aito nods.
Aito: "Do you think I'll beat Volk?"
Aito asked.
Vexara: "That boxer puncher?"
Vexara wonders with curiosity.
Aito: "No. He's a infighter like me. We both promised to brawl for six rounds... but Yoten said he's extremely technical."
Aito said as they both hear distant calling.
