Chapter Seventy-Five
Aito was walking his face and hand bandaged up tightly as he walked he seen a Orange haired guy lost.
Orange hair: "Sorry I talk little Japanese."
No one really helps him or gives him little to no help.
Aito: "Ah he needs help."
Aito walks up to him.
Aito: "Hey do you need help?"
Aito asked as Orange hair nods.
Orange hair: "I'm trying to get to Takizawa gym. They'll help me."
He said as Aito looks confused.
Aito: "Yoten? Sure come with me."
Aito said as they walked there.
Aito: "It's getting cold isn't it?"
Aito asked.
Orange hair: "In Russia it is much colder. Very cold."
He said as a cold breeze making Aito shiver.
Aito: "Russia? That's cool."
Aito said as he kept walking.
Later in the gym.
Aito: "Yoten Someone is here to see you."
Aito said as Yoten stops hitting the speed bag and sees Volk.
Yoten: "Volk. Did you get lost again?"
Yoten said as Aito spoke up.
Aito: "I found him east side. Quite far from your west side gym."
Aito said as he rubs his neck.
Aito: "Sometimes I find this school getting bigger every week."
Aito said as he gets lost himself frequently.
Yoten: "Anyway Volk isn't here to see me. But you."
Yoten said as Aito looked confused.
Aito: "Me?"
Yoten: "Volk is your next opponent."
Yoten said as Volk looked a bit... saddened.
Volk: "Yes. I'm here to stay. After seeing your kindness I feel bad that we have to fight."
Volk said making Aito feel bad.
Aito: "We'll treat it as a spar. Not a fight right?"
Aito asked.
Volk: "I won't hold back. So you shouldn't."
Volk said as Yoten thought of something.
Yoten: "you two should hang out today. After all you both have a week before training. Spend atlease a day together."
Yoten said As they both nod and start walking around the school.
They both are silent.
Aito: "There's a vending machine with drinks. We should go get one."
Aito said as Volk spoke up.
Volk: "Why do you find boxing fun?"
Volk asks.
Aito: "Well. It's just fun for me. I don't find it ever unenjoyable."
Aito said as Volk nods.
Volk: "I box to raise money for my sick mother."
Volk said as Aito looked disappointed.
Aito: "Did you make any?"
Aito asked.
Volk: "only 200. She's still sick and the cold of Russia doesn't help heal her."
Aito: "what's your record?"
Aito asks.
Volk: "3-0."
Volk said hopeless.
Aito: "This upcoming fight. I'll see if I can persuade them to make it ppv."
Aito said making volk confused.
Volk: "PPV?"
Aito: "Pay Per View. Basically They pay to watch us fight. It'll get us so much revenue. And I don't mind doing a 90/10 split. I don't need much after my past three wins."
Aito said as Volk seemed greatful.
Volk: "Thank you. You really are generous."
Volk said they kept talking.
The next day Aito wakes up his hand still broken so he can't Use it so he has to take the time off training.
Later Aito was sitting in Doctor Daigo patient room.
Aito: "So how long until my first heals."
Aito asked.
Daigo: "A couple weeks. Maybe two months. So I'll have to inject medicine into your fist to give your hand the extra strength to heal faster."
Daigo said poking Aito's first with a needle and injecting a serum into his hand.
Aito: "Thanks."
Daigo: "Any information on your opponent?"
Daigo asked.
Aito: "I'm gonna throw it."
Aito said making Daigo Shocked.
Daigo: "after all this work?"
Daigo asked.
Aito: "Yeah. Or atlease let him win on points. I have no reason to win. I'm already 8-1-1. 10 fights."
Aito said as he got up and left.
Daigo: "Dont throw Aito..."
Daigo said as Aito leaves.
Later Aito was training and he told Coach Fumio the same thing.
Coach Fumio: "That's what they say to trick you kid! Your too soft! 100 tennis ball catches now!"
Coach Fumio said Genuinely mad that Aito would fall for such a fake trick.
