A couple weeks passed and aito has just been training like normal until his next match was announced.
Coach fumio: "Aito your next fight is matched. It's you vs a guy named Daigo. He has a cast iron chin and also someone who fought Yoten. Of course Yoten won by points. But you get it."
Coach fumio said before walking away.
Aito: "alright."
Coach dante: "I'll be training you for this fight. After all i got permission. We'll be staying here at this gym though."
Coach Dante said as he pointed to the double end bag.
Aito: "the Deb?"
Aito asked walking to it.
Coach dante: "this guy moves a whole lot. If you wanna hit him your gonna need timing and power you wanna hurt him!"
Coach Dante said as aito nodded.
Coach Dante: "hit it side to side. And make it really swing side to side."
Coach Dante said as aito nodded getting into his hammer style and started rocking the bag failing at first.
Renjiro: "who's the new guy?"
Renjiro asked Lucas.
Lucas: "just some guest Coach."
Lucas said as he kept hitting the bag.
Aito then got into the momentum of hitting it and getting powerful shots into it.
Coach dante: "5! 6! 3! 1!"
Coach Dante yelled out.
Aito: "huh?"
Aito stopped.
Coach dante: "punch numbers. 1 is left jab. 2 is right jab. 3 is left hook. 4 is right hook. 5 is left straight. 6 is right straight. 7 is left uppercut. And 8 is right uppercut."
Coach Dante said as he kept calling numbers aito getting used to them.
Aito trained like this for a couple of weeks and his timing already developed massively now it's May and coach dante was talking to coach fumio.
Coach Dante: "he's a technique sponge! He might not have any outstanding skills but look at him! Fumio this is within just a couple days. Imagine what he could become under my training. Can I sign him to me?"
Coach Dante asked.
Coach fumio: "after the ROTY. I'll let you sign for him. Not guaranteed that you'll be allowed to have him. You need to talk the council about that."
Coach fumio said Dante agreeing.
Then as Aito stood up Yoten walked into the gym.
Coach Eiji: "yoten?"
Coach Eiji confused by why he was here.
Aito: "Yoten! I haven't seen you for so long!"
Aito said as Yoten looked around the gym.
Yoten: "im not here for long. Just to say something."
Yoten said still standing in the door way.
Coach takizawa: "Yoten just say what you wanted too."
Coach takizawa said before seeing the other coach's.
Yoten: "Daigo Arakawa... he's a text book fighter for sure. Doesn't have any outstanding talent but his chin... but I just wanted to say he's a pressure fighter he'll get in close! And sap your stamina before you know it. And I noticed something when I fought him. He headbutts your stomach to add more damage. He Rams you. So watch for that."
Yoten was about to walk away.
Aito: "Wait. Yoten. This is my strategy."
Aito with gloves on started hitting the double end bag and it was swinging side to side and towards Aito. Then Aito started hitting it aggressively with sharp timing and movement.
Yoten: "..."
Aito: "that's all I wanted you to see."
Aito said as Yoten nodded and walked away.
Coach Takizawa: "Oh yeah Aito. Yoten wanted you to know that he's your real end goal not Shindou."
Aito: "Mr. Takazawa. Shindou isn't my end goal sure. But what happens when Shindou catches up to Yoten with Me?"
Coach Takazawa: "hmm?"
Aito: "What I'm trying to say is Shindou is coming with me. And he's gonna go after Yoten, if Yoten gets the belt. He'll be Shindou's target aswell."
Aito said before waving him off.
Coach Takizawa walked off.
Renjiro: "that's a scene I thought I'd never see."
Renjiro laughed as he got back to the speed bag.
Coach Dante: "Get back to hitting the bag and then we'll be doing jump rope."
Coach Dante said as Aito nodded.
