Chapter 53 - Chapter 53 Treatment Begins

After finishing his conversation with the guild and checking in with Erza and the others, Noah found Aunt Spetto nearby. She guided him down a quiet corridor to one of the estate's larger indoor training halls an impressive space filled with various magical tools, targets, weapons, and strengthening equipment.

Inside, Layla, Jude, and Lucy were already waiting.

The moment Lucy spotted Noah entering, she brightened instantly and sprinted toward him. Her little boots tapped lightly across the floor as she reached him, stopping just in front and looking up with a curious expression.

"Brother Noah," she asked, tilting her head, "what's the key you gave me? What does it do?"

Noah blinked. "Didn't your mother tell you?"

"Nope!" Lucy shook her head firmly. "Mom just said to ask you."

She opened her small hand to show the silver key, still clutched tightly. Her eyes sparkled with excitement and wonder.

Noah glanced over at Layla, slightly puzzled that she hadn't explained it herself. But seeing her expression, he understood she was leaving this moment to him.

"This key is used for Celestial Spirit Magic," he explained gently, crouching down to her level. "It's the key to the Clock Constellation. As for its true name... that's something you'll have to discover on your own."

Lucy's eyes widened again. "Celestial Magic? What's that?"

"It's a beautiful kind of magic," Noah said with a smile. "Your mother is a Celestial Spirit Mage. She uses these keys to call on powerful Star Spirits to aid her. Would you like to learn the same magic as her?"

"Yes! I want to use the same magic as Mom!" Lucy answered without hesitation, her little hands balled into fists at her sides, her voice filled with certainty.

Just then, Layla and Jude walked over.

"Little Noah, you…" Jude began, clearly unsure of how to respond.

Layla let out a long sigh.

"Sister Layla," Noah said softly, turning to her, "you don't want Lucy to follow in your footsteps?"

Layla didn't answer right away.

In her heart, of course she wished Lucy would inherit her magic there was so much history, meaning, and love tied to her connection with the Celestial Spirits. But even more than that, she wanted Lucy to choose her own path, freely and happily.

She would never force it.

Turning to Jude, Noah added with a grin,

"Uncle Jude, you should join the training too. First, it'll be good for your health. Second, you'll be able to spend more time with your wife and daughter. Strengthen those family bonds."

Jude gave a faint, slightly awkward smile. "You call Layla sister, but me uncle…"

"Problem with that?" Layla asked, hands on her hips, raising a brow.

"…No, no, of course not," Jude said quickly, shrinking back like a guilty student. "It's just, uh… I have a business meeting later…"

"Then postpone it," Layla replied firmly. "We should make time for regular training together. Ever since the company expanded, you've been spending less and less time with us.

We already have enough. We don't need to chase after more. What we do need is you your presence, your time. That's more important than money."

Her words struck like a bolt of clarity.

Jude stood frozen, stunned by the seriousness in Layla's tone. It was the first time she'd spoken to him like this calm but firm, gentle but unyielding.

Then she stepped forward and wrapped her arms around him. Her voice softened into a whisper.

"I know you still love us. I know everything you do is for our sake. And I'll always support your career. But... the time you spend with us has really been disappearing. Please don't forget us. Don't forget to be here, really here, with your family."

Jude felt something tighten in his chest.

He had been so focused on work on deals, clients, meetings, expanding the company that somewhere along the line, he had let time with his wife and daughter slip through the cracks. Day by day, bit by bit, he had let himself drift away from them.

It had been far too long since he'd truly been present with the people who mattered most.

"I'll spend more time with you from now on," he said quietly, holding Layla close, guilt heavy in his voice. "I'm sorry. I've really neglected you both."

Layla shook her head gently, resting her forehead against his shoulder.

"We're a family. There's no need for apologies. Just… be with us more. That's all."

"Then let's start training," Noah said, stepping forward once he saw that Layla and Jude had come to an understanding.

"Sorry to keep you waiting, little Noah. And thank you for your advice just now," Layla said with a gentle smile.

"No problem," Noah replied, teasing lightly. "I just think Uncle Jude needs to train a bit more. He's looking a little weak."

"What?! Weak? Please check me!" Jude panicked on the spot. He had always considered himself in good health, so Noah's comment completely threw him off.

Noah gave him a full examination and quickly identified the usual issues: too much sitting, too little movement, and long-term fatigue from overwork. Nothing serious but definitely something to address. He wrote a simple prescription and recommended light daily exercise.

Jude accepted the advice without hesitation and left immediately to have the herbs purchased.

When he returned, Noah began leading the family's training.

Since Layla and Jude hadn't exercised in a long time, Noah started them off gently. Light stretches, breathing techniques, and basic movement drills to awaken their dormant muscles.

Within minutes, both adults were sweating heavily.

Only Lucy remained energetic. As a child, her body was naturally full of vitality. She skipped through the warm-up with ease and seemed like she could keep going all day.

So, Noah tailored the training to fit each person's condition, staying nearby to guide them and prevent injury.

As everyone adjusted to the routine, Lucy's exercises were passed over to Layla's supervision. That freed Noah to begin his own practice.

He first split off a Thought Projection to observe the others and ensure they stayed safe.

Then, with his real body, he walked to a corner of the training hall. He reinforced the ground with Earth Magic, then cast a gravity spell on himself and began his own intense workout.

Push-ups under crushing magical weight. The floor groaned slightly beneath him.

From across the room, Layla paused mid-stretch and watched with wide eyes.

"That's a Thought Projection watching us… and this is Noah's real body training? That intensity…"

She noticed how his hair and clothes hung heavy, dragged down by the oppressive gravity. The air shimmered faintly around him, warped by the force.

Between push-ups, Noah looked up and warned calmly:

"Sister Layla, don't step into this area. The gravity magic I'm using would crush your body in its current state."

Layla blinked. "Your magical power is already strong enough to need this kind of physical support?"

"Yes. If my body can't match my magic, it'll eventually collapse under its own power."

"…How old are you again?"

"Eleven."

Layla exhaled slowly. "Only eleven years old and you're already like this? Incredible… All right, I won't bother you anymore. I should focus on my own training."

"As long as you follow the training plan and take the prescribed medicine, you'll recover your health soon."

"Then I'll work hard and get there faster." Layla turned toward Lucy. "You too, Lucy no slacking! Keep up the training!"

"Yes, Mom!" Lucy responded, although her voice had a slight whine to it.

Layla went back to gently correcting Lucy's form while Jude kept going at his own pace. The three trained side by side under Noah's watchful eye, while he pushed himself under extreme magical pressure.

When the session ended, the servants returned with the medicinal herbs Noah had requested.

He retreated to a quiet room and began carefully brewing the custom potions.

The first batch was prepared for Layla and Jude. After drinking it, both of them showed clear improvement. Their complexions brightened, and the fatigue faded from their eyes.

Lucy also received a specially tailored potion, just a small cup, designed for her young body. It would nourish her magic circuits and enhance her long-term growth.

But of course, these weren't exclusive gifts for the Heartfilia family.

Every member of Fairy Tail had received the same level of care.

Each potion was adjusted precisely to its recipient tailored to their physical condition, magic flow, and combat needs. It ensured maximum effect and long-term benefit.

The only requirement?

Each person had to either supply their own ingredients or cover the cost of the herbs. Noah never charged for the actual preparation. He used the opportunity to further hone his medical alchemy skills, and to support his guildmates.

Naturally, the Fairy Tail members were incredibly grateful.

They often lined up to ask for Noah's help with their potions whether it was to recover from injury, prepare for combat, or simply maintain peak form. Stronger bodies meant better missions. Better missions meant higher pay. And more pay meant they could afford better ingredients.

It became a self-sustaining cycle, one that helped every member improve together.

More importantly, it strengthened the guild's bond, uniting them through shared growth, care, and trust.
