By the time the storm had passed, the Straw Hats were miles away from Loguetown and under the blanket of night. Now that they were safe, Alvida anchored her little ship just behind the Going Merry and was helped onto the caravel by Luffy.
"So, now what?" she asked him.
"Now we celebrate! New crewmates mean a party!"
The pirate woman entered the ship's cabin and was surprised to see the girls all crowded around a dining room table already trading drinks and stories. Carmen and Reiju now stood in the kitchen, one manning the stove covered in steaming pots while the other chopped and diced on the countertop.
"Quite the loose ship you run here…"
"Yeah, he's not a real stickler for hierarchy," Kuina told her over her ale, "All you need to do is listen when shit's going down and you can pretty much do whatever."
Alvida sat down between Kaya and Moodie, the two blondes going quiet in her presence. She couldn't entirely blame them, no doubt having been told about their first encounter by Luffy. But as soon as the food was presented, a massive spread that seemed more fit for a crew triple this size, the room became lively once again.
At the head of the table was Luffy, laughing and kidding around as he stuffed his face while the women around him acted so casual and upbeat that Alvida honestly forgot she was on a pirate ship.
"Hey, are you alright?" Kaya asked her, "You haven't touched your food for a while now."

Minutes soon turned to hours, the tropical sun shining down on the beach that soon became a private little getaway for the Straw Hat Pirates. By the time he was finally finished, the others had to towel themselves off and all needed a proper shower to clean the sand now stuck to their naked bodies.

Luffy, par for the course, felt his stamina quickly return although even he had to admit he felt sexed out. As his ladies all redressed themselves, he felt like life was just about perfect. He was the captain of his ship, had the friendly, faithful crew he always dreamed of, and they were only about a day away from entering the Grand Line! What more could he possibly want?
It was only then that he noticed something bobbing along the waters a good several clicks away. He tilted his head in shock before he recognized a few things. The trees on the aft deck. The yellow and red stripes on the mizzenmast. The jolly roger he designed.
"THE GOING MERRY! IT'S BEING STOLEN!"
"WHAT?!" the girls all cried. Nami rushed over to her bag and pulled out the spy glass she had brought just in case she spotted something on the horizon. Sure enough, she quickly spotted their own ship swiftly sailing away.
"Everyone, on the Mini Melody NOW! There's a tailwind coming any minute and the currents are smooth! At full speed, we should be able to catch up!"
Luffy didn't need any other instructions. He ordered all the ladies to huddle up before stretching his arms around them all, making a tight bundle as he leapt into the air with all of them in his grasp. They all soon crashed onto the scout ship, the ladies all quickly getting their bearings. Alvida stormed up to the wheel and turned them around while Nami ordered them to make a beeline straight for the Merry.
Throughout it all, Luffy was silent. He trusted Nami implicitly, she was his navigator after all. But beyond that, his rage was threatening to boil over and the last thing he wanted was to accidentally snap at any of them. He looked out from under his hat, at the slowly growing figure of his own boat, and felt his curled knuckles turn white.
"I don't care who did this, I'm gonna make them pay!"
So, to everyone who guessed the next stop would be Clockwork Island, congratulations! Next time, Luffy is going to wreak holy Hell on the Bear King and his entire operation. It'll make a nice little warm-up for Baroque Works.
