Jay: If anything happens to him i swear I'm going to kill someone!
Ren: Relax, it could just be one of his empty threats or something.

I closed my eyes and slumped back into my seat.
Me and the f4 r currently in a car, the others have already gone back to the mansion and some went to the hospital.
Oh how i wish I could turn back time and prevent all of this from happening. I can't lose him bcz of those monsters!
My head is still throbbing a bit from last night and all this worrying isn't helping much either!😤

We got out of the car and went inside the Brooklyn brigde park in a hurry.

I know u all r wondering what the hell is going on here, so this is how I got from enjoying my date with keifer to...well, this...
⏮️Flashback( yesterday evening )
After we left the ice skating Centre, we drove for a little while longer enjoying our little talks, teasing and blissful silence( which let's face it is really rare in this chaotic little world of ours )
Finally we reached our final destination to end this date before heading to meet up with our friends.
And u won't guess what place keifer chose to end our date.
Jay: An amusement park?
I said as we got out of the car and made our way inside.
Keifer: Yep.
Jay: How do we always end up going to an amusement park wherever we go?
Keifer: It's kind of becoming like a tradition now, isn't it?🤔
Jay: Except this time we r missing the entire section e.
Keifer( with a mischievous glint in his eyes ): Good. I can finally do what I want to do now.
Jay( narrowing her eyes ): And what exactly is that🧐
Keifer: Spend some quality time with my wife without being interrupted by them. Why? what did u think I was talking about😏
Jay: Nothing! And I'm not ur wife😤
Keifer: Yet😏
Jay: So where r we going first?
Keifer: Well, I was thinking about letting u choose which ride u wanted to go on first but since it's almost sunset, I was thinking we should go on the ferris wheel first.
Jay( nodding ): Ok, but I get to choose the next ride to go on.
Keifer: Ur wish is my command🫡
I rolled my eyes at him and we made our way towards the ferris wheel.
Luckily their was only a short line so we didn't have to wait for long.
Soon we got on the ferris wheel and started to go up.
* Thud *
Suddenly the ride stopped when we reached the top.
Jay: Huh? Why did we stop all of a sudden?
Keifer: Surprise🎉
Jay( confused ): What?🧐
Keifer: Ofc I had to make sure this date had the perfect ending so I bribed the ride operated to stop the ride when we were on top so that u can enjoy the view and the sunset from here😁😁
Jay: When did u do that?
Keifer: When u went to the bathroom before joining the line. Now stop interrogating me and start looking at the view before u miss the sunset.
Jay: Oh right!
So that's how we ended up enjoying the sunset together and taking some pics and videos of us with the sunset in the background.
And before we knew it the ride started moving again and we soon got off it.
Keifer: R u having fun?
Jay: Ofc! But don't do that again, everyone was angry bcz the ride got stuck.
Keifer( shrugging ): I don't care about that and ( leaning closer ) that sunset viewing wasn't free, I want something in return😏

Keifer: We still had some time to kill before we had to regroup for F4's surprise so we came here.

Ci-n: Yeah, apparently there was some big event here today so everyone somehow ended up here to end their date before heading to the place we agreed upon.

Ci-n: They went to get some food. We were headed there too when I saw u two here. Come on , let's go to them before they eat up all the food.
He said and started dragging me and rakki with him.

And there they were, literally everyone! Eating together in the food court...without me!🥲

He says as he first pulls me into a bear hug and then tries to tackle keifer into a hug but fails as keifer quickly moves out of the way leading percy to bump into the street light instead😂

Philip: Well it turns out that everyone wanted to end there day by attending the event that is being held here today.
Jay: Oh Philip I thought u were going to stay home and rest?
Philip: I was but I also wanted to explore new york a bit too. Hardly get to visit new places for something other than studies or business, u know how it is Jay.
Elena: This event sounded good so we came.
Edrix: But it's not going to start for a little while more so we decided to grab some food and look around a bit.
Keifer: And no one thought to tell us about it🙄

We quickly ordered our food too and ate together.
After that we strolled around a bit.
Keifer( stroking Jay's knuckles...they were walking hand in hand ): Which ride do u want to go on next? It's ur turn to choose.
Jay: I don't have one in mind yet🤔
Keifer: The how about we go on the ferris wheel again?
Jay: So u can pay the operator to stop the ride when we reach the top again?🧐
Keifer( innocently ): Technical errors happen all the time, who knows when the ride could get stuck. Maybe it will, maybe it won't. Want to go find out😏🫣
Before I could respond, ci-n popped up beside me.
Ci-n: Hey Jay let's go to the haunted house.

Percy( popping up beside keifer ): Don't listen to him baby sistah. He's just scared to go alone that's why he's dragging u in with him.

Percy: He and I have a bet to see who can survive the longest in the haunted house, if u r there with him he will have atleast some courage to stay there and win the bet.

And so we walked to the event area.
It didn't take much time for the singles to mix with the crowd and vibe to the songs, blaster and Rory even performed a duet on stage.
And then came a slow song to end the event.

I placed my hand in his and he pulled me closer.

After our dance and the event ended, we stayed a bit longer to enjoy the fireworks show🎆🎇✨️ before leaving in our respective cars to the place we originally had agreed to regroup at.
While on our way there, mine and keifer's interlinked hands rested on keifer's lap as he drove with one hand and I sat gazing at the city outside, when I felt like we were being followed.
Keifer must have felt it too bcz he suddenly turned right at the intersection and then left to see if anybody was following us while the rest of our group followed turned left at the intersection as were supposed to.
And just as we had predicted a black car was following us. It was too dark to see who was inside the car.
Jay: We r being followed, aren't we?
Keifer: Yeah but not for long, sit tight I'll try to loose them.
He said and speed up the car.
While he was weaving through the streets of new york, I messaged Mason about our situation. I also texted MJ to see if he could find out anything about the car following ours.
It didn't take long for Mason who was with Alex, robin, Mateo and Aya to come to our location.
There sudden arrival must have spooked the tail bcz before we could block them off, they sped up there car and took off in another direction.
I released a breath of air I didn't even know I was holding.
Keifer: R u Ok?
Jay: Yeah I'm fine. Luckily we weren't too far away from the others so they could come to us fast.
Keifer: Atleast we spooked them off.
