Chapter 114 - Black meeting ( 58 ) - Crushed metal

IKIRO VS SMITH

TUNG!

Smith's sword scraped against the rock as he swung it toward Ikiro.

Sparks scattered across the stone.

Ikiro stood his ground, blue flames slowly rising around his body.

He looked at the blade.

"Fine blade..."

His eyes narrowed.

"...but can it cut through my flames?"

Blue energy suddenly exploded around him.

WHOOSH!

In an instant, the entire battlefield was swallowed by blue fire.

The ancient ruins disappeared behind the flames.

Smith moved through them, swinging his sword again and again.

SWISH! SWISH!

But every strike was stopped by the flames.

Ikiro stepped forward.

"You were a mere stop for me."

He raised his hand.

"BLUE FLAMES ENGULF!"

The flames surged outward, consuming everything in their path.

Smith suddenly disappeared into the fire.

Ikiro watched carefully.

Then—

SHING!

A single slash tore straight through the flames.

Ikiro's eyes widened.

The blue fire split apart.

Smith stepped through the opening, his sword resting at his side.

"It was hard to manage this..."

He looked toward Ikiro.

"...but not that hard."

Ikiro stared at him.

How was that even possible?

My flames can't be cut by something this simple...

Smith jumped onto the cliff above them.

He looked down at Ikiro.

For a moment, neither moved.

Then Smith stepped off the edge.

His body dropped.

His sword rotated in his hand.

360 degrees.

The blade cut through the air as he descended, slicing through everything in its path.

Ikiro's eyes widened.

He's coming straight toward me.

If that blade touches me...

I'm done.

The sword came closer.

The sound of the blade echoed through the ruins.

Ikiro tried to move—

SHING!

"AH... AHHH!!"

TON VS DOMINSIDE THE CASTLE

The ancient castle was almost completely dark.

Only faint light slipped through the cracks in the walls.

A voice echoed through the corridors.

"LIZARD!"

Dom slowly walked forward.

"Come out."

He looked into the darkness.

"Are you hiding?"

Silence.

Dom continued walking.

He didn't notice the shadow directly behind him.

Ton's claws slowly extended.

He waited.

One second.

Two.

Then—

SLASH!

Ton struck.

Dom stumbled forward.

"AHH... You damn lizard!"

Ton stood behind him.

"You were easy."

He looked around.

"Do you even know how to fight?"

Dom slowly turned his head.

A strange smile appeared.

"I'm not a fighter..."

He wiped his mouth.

"...but you will pay for killing me."

Ton frowned.

"I have more work to do."

He turned around.

Then—

He froze.

A cold feeling ran through his body.

Someone was sitting in a chair at the end of the hallway.

Ton slowly looked back.

His eyes widened.

The person sitting there...

was Dom.

The Dom Ton had just defeated was no longer there.

Dom smiled.

"Welcome to my world."

CRACK!

Glass shattered around Ton.

The entire castle changed.

The walls.

The floor.

The hallway.

Everything.

Ton's eyes widened.

"An illusion..."

He immediately charged toward Dom.

But—

BOOM!

A transparent glass cage appeared around him.

Ton slammed his claws against it.

Nothing happened.

Dom stood outside.

"It was fun."

He smiled.

"Now you are dead."

MICHAEL VS JEDELON THE ROOF OF THE CASTLE

The wind swept across the enormous castle roof.

Michael stood with Regicide resting in his hand.

Across from him, the fifth member of Organization X slowly removed his mask.

His face was revealed.

"I am..."

He paused.

"JEDEL."

Michael tilted his head.

"Amusing name."

He immediately swung Regicide.

SHING!

But the blade stopped.

It hadn't touched Jedel.

It was suspended several meters away from him.

Michael's eyes widened.

"What?"

He pushed harder.

"PUSH!"

Nothing.

The sword wouldn't move forward.

"WHY IS THIS NOT GOING FURTHER?!"

Jedel calmly watched him.

"It won't."

Michael pulled back.

"Why?"

Jedel smiled.

"You think I'll reveal my powers to you like a novel villain?"

He shook his head.

"No. I won't."

Michael narrowed his eyes.

He pulled Regicide back.

Then charged again.

"Then I'll force you to show me!"

He swung.

Again—

The blade stopped before reaching Jedel.

Jedel didn't even move.

"You are worthless in front of my power."

Michael's expression hardened.

Purple energy gathered around him.

"Then take this!"

He unleashed a powerful blast.

The energy rushed toward Jedel—

And stopped.

Just like the sword.

It hung motionless in the air before disappearing.

Michael stared.

What is with this guy?

Every attack I use stops before reaching him.

Maybe NIT doesn't work on him...

His eyes moved toward Regicide.

Then I'll attack without energy.

Just the blade.

Michael suddenly threw Regicide.

The sword flew directly toward Jedel.

Jedel's eyes narrowed.

"No energy, huh?"

He reached out.

"So you figured it out."

He caught Regicide in midair.

Michael's eyes widened.

"Huh?"

Jedel held the legendary sword effortlessly.

Michael pointed toward it.

"Only a Valric can hold Regicide!"

Jedel looked at the blade.

"Don't confuse me with a Valric."

He tightened his grip.

"I'm just strong."

CRACK.

A small fracture appeared across Regicide.

Michael's expression changed immediately.

"REGICIDE..."

Jedel squeezed harder.

CRACK.

Another fracture appeared.

The sound of breaking metal echoed across the rooftop.

Michael's eyes widened.

"REGICIDE!"

He charged toward Jedel.

His fist flew forward.

But Jedel didn't even look at him.

His attention remained on the sword.

CRACK...

The sound grew louder.

Michael shouted with everything he had—

"REGICIDE!!"

The entire rooftop trembled.

And the legendary blade began to break.
