Chapter 46 - Prelude to the black meeting ( 10 ) - The Unchaining of the Master

As Salim gets the message, he goes inside the room. As he sleeps, he is terrified by what has just happened, and he is scared for his life. He lies on the bed, and when he wakes up, it is a whole new day.

He sets out for the academy and starts training for the Shot of Miracle, as that is the only thing he can do right now.

"I will practice this until 6 PM, then sleep, and repeat the process until I succeed."

Thousands of tries pass. His hands bleed as if they were cut. Salim is exhausted, and he thinks he can never do this, but there is still hope, and he continues practicing.

He follows this routine for more than four days, leaving him on the sixth day, which is his last full day in Mahakaalpur. He must leave on the seventh day, which means he has only one attempt left to succeed in the Shot of Miracle.

He trains all day, but something is missing, and he cannot understand what it is.

He is exhausted and wants to go back, but there is still a little motivation left. It vanishes in a second as time runs out.

The clock keeps ticking.

6 PM arrives.

The sky splits apart as the tornado returns.

But this time Salim does not run home.

He stands there facing the tornado and the mysterious figure inside it.

His determination is absolute.

But is it enough?

The mysterious figure launches an attack at Salim, but to his surprise, Salim dodges it.

Salim is no longer scared.

He is ready.

The tornado roars,

"GET OUT OF THE WAY, OR THIS TOWN IS DOOMED!"

Salim replies,

"You get out of the way, or you are doomed."

He draws his bow and prepares the most powerful attack known in archery, one that is still not fully mastered.

Using every ounce of energy within him, he gathers all the fire in his body into a single point and releases the Brahmastra.

In an instant, the attack pierces through the tornado.

Inside the storm stands a mysterious figure chained by blocks of wind.

The whole village sees it.

They are shocked.

It is none other than Guru Acharya Ji.

His son, Arjun, falls to his knees crying, because he already knew the truth.

Salim is stunned, but he shouts,

"I will free you, Guru Ji!"

Then he notices something floating above Guru Acharya Ji.

The Eye of Mahakaal.

An ancient entity feared for its ruthlessness.

The ancient entity attacks with violent blades of wind that flow through the storm and says,

"The only way to free Guru Acharya Ji is to hit the Shot of Miracle perfectly on this lock. If you succeed, he is free."

The ancient entity roars as blades of wind tear through the tornado. Invisible currents strike Salim from every direction, slicing his arms and forcing him to his knees.

At the center of the storm floats a glowing lock wrapped around Guru Acharya Ji's chest.

"One perfect shot," the entity thunders. "Miss, and he remains mine forever."

Salim closes his eyes.

The world disappears.

No storm.

No pain.

No fear.

He hears only the wind.

The temple bells.

Guru Acharya Ji's heartbeat.

The lock.

His fingers tighten around the bowstring.

For the first time in his life, Salim does not aim with his eyes.

He aims with his soul.

The wind suddenly changes.

A thousand false sounds surround him, but one current remains pure.

Salim whispers,

"Shot of Miracle."

The arrow leaves the bow in complete silence.

It curves through the raging tornado, slips between the spinning winds, and strikes the lock with a single clear—

TING.

Cracks spread across the seal.

The storm stops.

For the first time in eleven years, moonlight touches Guru Acharya Ji's face.
