Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 — Voyage

Gree D. Yua couldn't believe what he had just seen. Staring out at the sea, Luffy was already gone — just a speck on the horizon. But more than that… he couldn't believe what he had just remembered.

Yua whispered to himself, "So… I got isekai'd into the One Piece world?"

Looking around, everything felt so familiar. Then it hit him — this was the moment Luffy set out to sea to begin his adventure to become the Pirate King.

Still a little dazed, Yua tried to process it all. His life as "Yua" here and his life from before… it felt like the two sets of memories had been smashed together, forcefully fused into one.

But the "Yua" standing here right now? Just a normal kid. His parents were normal too. Or… were they? He had the D. in his name — could they really be normal?

Okay, okay, okay… let me summarize myself right now.I'm seventeen years old, about the same age as Luffy — who just set sail moments ago. As far as I remember, my parents were just ordinary hunters, not pirate hunters. They died three years ago while trying to take down a sea beast — or at least, that's what the mayor told me. I still remember the shock when I first heard the news… but over time, I learned to move on.

They left me a house here in Foosha Village, some savings, and the hunting skills they taught me. Thanks to that, living here hasn't been too difficult.

And my relationship with Luffy? Honestly, just acquaintances. I didn't see him much while living here — my home's a little far from where he spends most of his time, and I was usually busy hunting for food.

But then… wait… This is One Piece!?Reality hit me like a Sea King's tail. In my old memories, this was just an anime. But now? This world is real — and it's dangerous.

That's when I noticed something in the corner of my vision. I'd been ignoring it until now, too overwhelmed by the flood of memories. But it was still there, like some kind of floating game window.

I finally focused on it.

[Harem King System Activated]"You may not be strong… but your harems will be."

…So just like those webnovels I read, I got my cheat — my golden finger. Hmm… interesting… but—

What the heck do you mean "You may not be strong"?What's the point of a system if I can't become strong?!

Alright, calm down, me. Calm down, Yua. Let's see what this system can actually do before I start throwing a tantrum.

I reached out and poked the screen with my finger. It expanded instantly, revealing more details.

[Harem King System]

10 P

[Harem King's Blessing]: Anyone who receives your blessing will have their skills upgraded to their maximum potential.

[Harem King's Aura]: Act like a king to earn points for upgrading the system.

[Harem King's Store]: You can buy items here to help you and your harem members using points.

[True Love]: If the members really love you,

You can teleport them to you at any time.

You can use items for them anywhere.

You can give them a barrier for 1 hour.

???

???

[Betrayed]: If you get betrayed by your harem members, you will lose 1P, and the member who betrayed you will lose all the benefits they received from the Harem King system.

[???]

[???]

So, that's it. I'm still not sure if this is strong or not, but the only thing I'm sure about is I can't use this system's full potential if I'm alone… Well, I can use the store and the aura, but the store only sells items like life potions and support items… I can't become strong by using those items… sigh.

I closed the system and the store.

I looked at the sea."Looks like I need to start my voyage too," I whispered.

Then the old man beside me — Woop Slap, the mayor of Foosha Village — said,"What did you say, kid? Don't tell me you want to become a pirate too!?!?"

"Uhm… yeah, I guess?"

"Y… you… ungrateful brat!!!"

Then the mayor started smacking me with his cane, but before he could hit me, I ran away and shouted,"Well, I decided! I'm going to get ready for my adventure. Seeya, mayor! Thanks for everything!"

"HEY, YUA! YOU WAIT!! You idiot, come here!!"

Someone grabbed the mayor's shoulder.

"Hey, Makino, don't stop me! I'm gonna teach that brat a lesson!"

"I know how you feel, mayor, but you know kids can't be persuaded, right? Sigh… But I can't believe Yua wants to become a pirate too. He's usually a quiet kid. Maybe he got influenced by Luffy when Luffy set sail?"

"Hmmff!"

Makino could only smile at the mayor's angry face and look toward Yua's back as he ran home.

While running, I remembered all my childhood memories here in Foosha Village."Well, you can say I had a good time here in the village, but it looks like I need to depart too — for my survival and happiness. Actually, I think it's okay to stay here and live as a normal villager, but the One Piece world isn't an easy place. There's a lot of unexpected things and dangers here, and it would be a waste if I just stayed here… This is the One Piece world, of course I want to enjoy it."

I arrived at my home and took all the things I needed for my adventure.

"Well, I know that I'm not strong, but I still learned a lot from my parents. I learned how to shoot guns, hunting, survival skills, crafting, traps, negotiation, basic cooking, basic navigation, and a lot more. That's why I didn't struggle that much when they left me alone. Well, I'm not gonna say I'm good at them though — I just know enough."

I grabbed the flintlock in front of me, put it in my holster along with my camping bag and the Beli — or Berry — money I had. I had to start my adventure.

"I need to go out now because I don't know if the sea beast Luffy defeated is dead or just knocked out. So before it wakes up, I need to get out to sea."

I grabbed the boat my parents left beside the house and pulled it with a rope into the forest.

"Just to be safe, I'm not going to the port. Unlike Luffy, I'm going to go out to sea beside the forest. I don't want to draw the attention of the villagers — especially the mayor and Makino."
