Chapter 124 - Chapter 124 — Six Days of Peace

Chapter 124 — Six Days of Peace

After the long conversation in the dimension, neither Akira nor Kakashi felt like leaving. The air there was calm — too calm to walk away from. So the two stayed the night, just like they used to four years ago.

The next morning, the routine fell into place naturally.

Sakumo cooked breakfast.

Akira set the table.

Kakashi poured the tea.

It was simple, ordinary, but warm — the kind of warmth none of them would admit they missed.

After breakfast, Akira and Kakashi stepped back out of the dimensional space and into the outside world. The air felt completely different — heavier, louder, real.

Akira stretched a little and looked toward Kakashi.

"So… what are you going to do now? We have six days off."

Kakashi put his hands into his pockets, shrugging casually.

"Let's take a stroll around the village."

Akira smiled faintly. "Alright, let's do that."

He hesitated, then added,

"Hey, Kakashi… what do you think about letting Uncle Sakumo come out of the dimension and live in the world? Even if the dimension has everything, it's not the same as being here."

Kakashi nodded gently.

"You're right. But not now. Maybe after the war ends. It'll be easier to give him a fake identity once there's peace… especially after Minato-sensei becomes Hokage."

Akira froze.

His steps stopped. His head turned sharply toward Kakashi.

"Kakashi… do you have the ability of foresight?"

Kakashi blinked at him, then looked away slowly — not avoiding, but choosing his words.

"It's not foresight," he said quietly. "It's just… I didn't regain only the memories of my first life. I remembered the thousand lives after that too — all the times I reincarnated as Kakashi. Every single one of them."

Akira stared at him, stunned.

"A thousand…? You reincarnated that many times? Wait — then you must know what happens in the future, right?"

Kakashi shook his head.

"No."

Akira frowned in confusion. "Why not?"

Kakashi looked at him firmly this time — serious, almost heavy.

"Because you didn't exist in those worlds. In every one of those thousand reincarnations, you were never there. So the path this world will take… can't be the same."

He continued, voice calm but edged with logic older than the universe itself:

"When a reincarnated soul from the another world appears in a world, the fate of that world shifts — even if it's only a small change. In the thousand worlds I lived through, more then hundred. only seventeen reincarnated people ever changed the world. And even they couldn't change its final destined path. After they died or left, the world went back to its predestined route."

"But Empyrean Schism souls are different. When we appear… we don't just change the world temporarily. We can alter the path completely."

He looked at Akira directly.

"So with you here… the future becomes impossible to predict. Nothing I remember from my thousand reincarnations can tell me what will happen now."

The wind blew quietly between them.

The village was peaceful — but suddenly, the peace felt fragile.

Akira looked down at his hands, almost unconsciously.

"So… just by existing here… I've already changed everything."

Kakashi nodded.

"Yeah. You did."
