CHAPTER 26: | A MYSTERIOUS ENCOUNTER

---

'Molten Gold Fist' activated, and my hands burned with an incandescent, liquid gold light, heat radiating off them in visible waves.

Sizzle!

The water hissed violently, steam momentarily obscuring my vision from the intense heat of 'Molten Gold Fist.'

I let out a sigh, focusing my strength to a single point at the tip of my finger, then swiped it across the forest.

Swish!

The water shook violently, and the kelp thrashed wildly, its enormous fronds whipping through the currents as if battling an unseen storm, as a blinding, incandescent orange line seared itself into the horizon, a glowing scar against the deep blue.

Shook!

The water vibrated violently, and the gargantuan stalk of kelp cracked, then shuddered, before tearing free with a deep groan and flying across the currents.

There, in the churning water, a daunting figure was revealed.

Her long, thick golden locks, still damp, cascaded around her.

Her eyes were piercing golden irises that seemed to catch every available speck of light.

Her skin, was pale as the moonlight, contrasted with her soft, inviting pink lips.

She possessed a lush, curvy body, ending in powerful, voluptuous legs, and a generous amount of assets that were undeniably prominent.

That was all I could see of her as I pointed my index finger, still glowing with an intense orange hue, directly at her.

"Introduce yourself, intruder."

The naked woman before me gazed at me, then clapped her hands, raising them as she playfully rushed forward.

"Hehehe, it seems that I've got some capable descendant this time."

Her smile widened, making her already cute face even more captivating.

"But it seems he's a bit dumb for not recognizing I, Liora the Great!"

I gazed at her with incredulity, then lost interest, shaking my head and sighing.

"I see. So, just a random naked bitch."

She lunged at me, but I sidestepped, easily dodging her attempt to get close. She crashed to the ground, pouting.

"You! How can you ignore such a beautiful lady like me? You meanie!"

I gazed at her, taking her in from head to toe, then shook my head and walked away from this crazy bitch.

"Why would I try to get close to such a weird, naked lady?"

Liora got up, patted herself down for any dirt, then cheerfully followed behind me.

"Hey, do you know where we are? How strong are you? Will you be able to beat the one guarding the south? What's that orange thingy on your hand? Hey, what's your name? Do you like me?"

Tch.

Dammit, why is this bitch following me and bombarding me with her questions?

Her voice chimed, a clear, bell-like sound that was undeniably angelic, as she pressed on with her endless questions.

"Hey, are you listening to me? I heard there's a race known as fairies that can't die without their core being destroyed. Aren't they practically immortal?"

I let out a sigh as I gazed at her with irritation, then massaged my forehead, forcing myself not to do anything foolish.

"Could you please shut up? First of all, I have no general knowledge of where we are. Second, I am strong, strong enough to defeat the one guarding the end of the south. Third, it's a skill called 'Molten Gold Fist.' Fourth, address me as Alister Von Fai or just Alister. Fifth, hell no, I'm not interested in you. Sixth, I am ignoring you."

She was quite shocked by my reply, as she didn't expect that I would answer all of her questions in one go.

But she continued, questioning even more.

"Well, if you are strong, how strong exactly? A lord, a king, an overlord, a sovereign, a champion, or an emperor?"

Then she smiled, her pink lips gleaming with allure under the soft, ethereal glow of a pulsating bioluminescent kelp.

I smiled at her, then grabbed her chin, my own smile turning threatening.

"Stop questioning me, Liora... got it?"

Then I let go of my grip, and she pouted cutely.

"You could have done that more gently... I... I expected a kiss... so why berate me?"

She was about to cry as I gazed at her, then patted her head, realizing I perhaps have a soft spot for women.

Liora calmed, her sniffles stopping.

She beamed, then hugged my hand, pressing it against her breast as she smiled.

"Hehehe."

Well, I have no problems with this since it's quite okay, but no more than this.

As I felt that we are not destined.

For I am only destined for them.

Light flashed into existence as holograms appeared before me, shimmering brilliantly, displaying my glorious victory.

---

Abyssal Hide [Passive | ▪︎]

Its thick, incredibly resilient hide is covered in barnacle-like growths of reinforced chitin and dense muscle, granting it phenomenal resistance to all forms of physical damage. Blades glance off, and impacts are significantly dulled, making it extremely difficult to wound.

Immovable Mass [Passive | ▪︎]

The Wharkin's sheer bulk and density make it almost impossible to displace. It can absorb and negate tremendous force, shrugging off impacts that would shatter lesser creatures, rendering it an unyielding wall.

Whirlpool Maw [Passive | 15 - Mana | ▪︎]

The Wharkin can open its immense maw and rapidly inhale, creating a powerful, localized whirlpool effect. This draws in and disorients smaller creatures, debris, and even larger objects, allowing the Wharkin to then close its jaws with devastating, crushing power.

---

Her voice echoed cheerfully, a bright sound as she pointed beyond the kelp forest, jumping once, then twice.

"We're here! We're here!"

Her voice was still incredibly cute, and as she jumped around, her breast jiggled, appearing remarkably soft...

No, not the time for this shit.

"I see, so we are here."

A colossal door stood before me, its surface a tapestry of history.

Intricate carvings, worn smooth in places by time, depicted ancient battles, forgotten beings, and the rise and fall of civilizations.

Each etched line told a silent story, waiting to be deciphered.
