Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: "I need a new fucking keyboard!"

The room was dark, silent except for the glow of a single screen casting pale light across the cluttered desk.

"Shit!" Kaito Tanaka—an eighteen-year-old with striking white hair and red eyes—barked at the monitor.

"You fucking bastard!"

He slammed his keyboard down with such force that it cracked in half.

"I just needed that win to hit Rank 1! How dare you make me lose?!" he screamed, voice cracking with frustration.

"Kaito!" a voice called up from downstairs. "Stop yelling!"

"No, Mom!" he shot back instantly, fingers trembling. "I need a new fucking keyboard!"

Downstairs, his mother sighed, the sound of a knife chopping vegetables echoing faintly through the house.

Up in his room, rage still boiling, Kaito balled his fists and swung at the computer case.

"Fuck you!"

His knuckles smashed through the plastic, and at that moment—

Zap!

A sudden jolt of electricity surged through his body.

His vision blurred, the sharp pain spreading through his body.

"I just... wanted to play some games..." Kaito whispered, voice barely audible.

The world around him faded, colors bleeding into nothingness.

Darkness swallowed him whole.

...

Kaito's eyes fluttered open.

The air was cool and damp.

He blinked a few times, trying to focus.

"Where am I?"

He sat up and looked around.

He was inside a dim cave, lit faintly by pale shafts of light filtering in through cracks in the rocky ceiling.

Nearby, a serene cave lake shimmered with crystal-clear water, its surface smooth as glass, reflecting the rough stone walls like a mirror.

Across from him, delicate tufts of grass clung to the rocky ground, dotted with strange white flowers glowing softly in the dim light.

Kaito's gaze locked on the flowers.

They were beautiful.

More beautiful than anything he had ever seen before.

He didn't know why, but a profound calmness washed over him.

And then —

[Through an intense action of observation, a skill has been generated: Observation]

"Observation?" Kaito thought, eyes narrowing. "Wait... what's this?"

"A... system?"

He muttered softly, sensing a new presence inside him.

"Then..." Kaito said, his voice strangely steady. "Status Window."

A translucent panel appeared before him, displaying:

[Name: Kaito Tanaka]

[Job: The Gamer]

[Race: Human]

[Gender: Male]

[Age: 18]

[Level: 1 (0%)]

[Title: N/A]

[HP: 110/110]

[MP: 430/430]

[Strength: 5]

[Vitality: 2]

[Agility: 4]

[Intelligence: 34]

[Wisdom: 13]

[Luck: 2]

[Points: 0]

"This is... like a real game!" Kaito exclaimed, a spark of excitement lighting up his face.

"Wait a moment... why am I so calm? I just died, probably got reincarnated into some other world, or kidnapped by someone — but that's less likely. And I have no idea where I am right now."

Curious, he tapped the panel again.

"Skills."

The panel shifted:

[Passive Skills]

[Gamer's Body (Lv.Max)]

[Gamer's Mind (Lv.Max)]

[Active Skills]

[Observation (Lv.1)]

"Two passive skills at max level..." Kaito muttered, eyeing Gamer's Mind.

"Is that why I'm so calm? Normally, anyone else would lose their head if they found themselves in a situation like this."

He pressed on Gamer's Mind for details:

[Gamer's Mind (Lv.Max)]

[Recognizes reality as a game and keeps the mind calm. Immunity to mental disorders.]

"Yep. I was right."

Kaito sounded a bit irritable when smashing his keyboard earlier, but that was just the effect video games had on him.

He was actually smart — he just never applied it to anything outside gaming.

He pressed on Gamer's Body:

[Gamer's Body (Lv.Max)]

[Grants a body that allows for the user to live the real world like a game.]

"Huh... that's an enigmatic skill."

"A body like a game character... does that mean I can't break any bones? That I only lose HP when attacked, without actually getting injured? That's how game characters work."

Curious, he stepped toward a sharp rock and sliced his arm with it.

[-5 HP]

His arm didn't even bleed or get cut — the pain was there but faint, and vanished within seconds.

"Useful."

He smiled. "I'm just like a game character."

Suddenly, a new panel appeared:

[You've suffered a physical attack!]

[A new skill has been generated: Physical Endurance!]

"Another skill?" Kaito thought, tapping it open:

[Physical Endurance (Lv.1)]

[Increases body durability and reduces physical damage by 3%.]

"Useful."

"If skill levels go up to a hundred, this is probably OP. Immunity to physical damage? That makes me practically invincible."

Kaito's excitement finally bubbled over.

"Who cares if I died! This might be the game I've always dreamed of!"

"Observation."

A panel popped up:

[Observation (Lv.1)]

[A skill to find the target's information.]

He chuckled softly and turned his gaze back to the delicate white flowers.

[Hipokute Grass.]

[A really precious grass that only grows in places rich with magic. It can be used for basic medicaments or as an ingredient for medicines.]

"Hmh, useful..." Kaito mused. "I should probably gather a bit of these."

He looked down at his status window again, pondering.

"Magic. I wasn't even sure magic existed in this world before... My MP could've meant something else, like 'Mana Points' or something completely different — but now..."

A wide smile spread across his face.

"A fantasy world."

The realization hit him like a breath of fresh air, filling him with a strange mixture of excitement and curiosity.

"I reincarnated into a fantasy world."

To be continued...

This is my new fic guys. I wanted to have a change from my other one, so I kinda moved completely away from the TV show aspect and came to the Anime side.

If you guys have any suggestion about any skills Kaito could create, as you already know, you are welcome.
