Chapter 45 - Part 45 ARC XLIV The Soul Knight

Chapter 1 Waking of Soul

After the Elf incident, the team had changed a little. Life moved on.

Strom spent his days helping Dravyss, keeping himself busy, and… not even touching his armor for two months.

Wraith and Astrid were deep in Valkyrie territory, chasing mysteries that most humans wouldn't dare to touch.

Sam was locked in his room, tinkering with magic, muttering formulas like a madman.

Nia patrolled forests and rivers, making sure nature wasn't being messed with.

Zyphus and Violet had their heads buried in politics, keeping Elesta in balance.

No one was the same…

But the one thing that never changed? Their bond.

No excuses, no arguments. Whenever they got a free moment, they checked on each other. Always.

---

Far away, in the distant lands of Elesta, a man climbed a jagged mountain, sweat and dirt coating him. He had a purpose.

Martin — a simple man with a simple mission — muttered to himself as he climbed.

> "She'll be happy when I bring her that flower…"

He counted his steps, his grip on his axe tight. Then… THUD!

Something hard under his axe. He dug the dirt away.

A helmet. A knight's helmet.

Martin frowned, shrugged, and muttered:

> "Seems… familiar but Who cares?"

He continued, counting his climb, until he finally reached the crimson flower — The Fire Tulip.

> "Yes… this is what I need."

Carefully, he plucked it, cradled it like it was fragile life itself, and started the descent. His mission was complete; his wife would be pleased.

But as he stepped down…

The helmet wasn't there.

Martin paused: "Maybe it fell…"

He shook his head, ignored it, and pressed on, his mind already imagining her smile.

But then… something impossible happened.

The helmet appeared again — glowing a cold, piercing blue, humming faintly, like it had a heartbeat of its own.

And something… was waking.

Chapter 2 – The Shadow Ability

Next day was special. Everyone decided to meet at Astrid's house.

Morning came warm, golden sunlight washing over the backyard. No matter how life had thrown them around, seeing each other instantly made the pain vanish.

Strom: "Finally!"

Zyphus: "Yup… we're together again."

Wraith: "I really missed you all."

Violet: "I just love being with you guys. No political drama, no war… just us."

Astrid: "Where are Sam and Nia?"

Strom: "Not sure."

Wraith: "You all know Sam lives far. Nia usually brings him along."

Astrid: "Right… then let's wait for our Griffin."

A moment later, Sam and Nia arrived. No Griffin in sight.

Zyron (Nia instead of Griffin ) finally landed — Sam awkwardly balancing himself on her head.

Strom (eyeing Sam): "Done farming aura, huh?"

Sam: "Yeah, I reached the most aura anyone ever gained!"

But the victory was short-lived — one wrong step on the wet mud, and Sam crash hard

Zyphus: "Generation aura depth, gentleman."

Sam (groaning): "You all were born to roast me, huh?"

Wraith: "Sam! Why walk when you can glide like a proper Elite mage dude?"

Sam: "It drains mana constantly, and… well, I'm still just a human."

Inside the house, they ate, shared stories, and rested — a rare calm before the storm.

---

Evening fell. They gathered in the backyard.

Strom: "Actually, Zyphus… you said you had shadow powers, but I haven't ever seen anything."

Zyphus: "So you don't know about my full abilities?"

Sam: "Actually… neither do we."

Zyphus: "Alright, watch closely."

He walked over to a thick wooden log, ready to demonstrate.

Zyphus: "I'm going to punch this log… okay?"

Wraith: "Okay."

DHUD! His punch was immense — the log shattered… but not completely.

Zyphus: "I only punched once. Look closer."

Everyone approached. Two punch marks were visible.

Sam: "Wait… you only hit it once?"

Zyphus: "Shadow combat, baby!. My shadow mimics my moves, so yes — double damage."

Zyphus (grinning): "Wanna see more?"

Violet: "Why not?"

He called his spear, stepping back from the shattered log.

Zyphus: "I won't move… but I can cut this log without throwing my spear."

Strom (doubtful): "I don't believe you."

Zyphus: "Better hold me if you don't want any doubt."

Astrid and Strom gripped him firmly.

Then he activated Shadow Strike.

In a blur, a dark silhouette moved with deadly speed. Zyphus himself hadn't moved an inch, but the shadow sliced through the log and vanished instantly.

Strom: "How…?"

Zyphus: "Shadow Strike, Shadow Combat, Diamond Reflex, Spear Slash, Clone Shadow… these are my special flight abilities."

Astrid (shocked): "How do you even manage that?"

Zyphus: "Blessing from a goddess, simple."

Sam (laughing): "Clap, everyone! Our bro can finally talk to girls!"

Everyone erupted in laughter. Everyone thinks Zyphus had always been terrified of women.

Chapter 3 – The Soul Is Awaken Now

Far in the lands of Elesta, strange whispers spread like wildfire.

Villagers began claiming they'd seen a knight glowing blue, wrapped in shadow‑black armor, wandering the mountains at night.

When Zyphus and Violet returned from their weekend, the villagers rushed to them.

Villager: "Sir… a knight with glowing blue and dark armor has been seen near the mountain and the waterfall."

Zyphus: "A glowing knight…? Are you sure?"

Violet: "Where exactly?"

Villager: "Near the cliff road. People are avoiding that place."

Zyphus: "Good. Tell everyone not to go there until we handle it."

Villager: "Yes, Knight! Thank you."

Zyphus: "Come, Violet. Let's move."

To reach the castle, they had to cross the city market, and today it was overflowing with people.

Violet: "I hate crowds…"

Zyphus: "Don't worry. They're just normal people."

Violet: "You say that because you're not a girl."

Zyphus didn't understand what she meant and continued gathering information, slowly drifting away in the crowd.

The space grew tighter. Bodies brushed past each other, voices overlapping. Then a man passed Violet—too close. His hand brushed her deliberately before he disappeared.

Violet: "Hey—!"

No response.

Another one followed. Then another.

Not accidents.

Violet's face burned, not from embarrassment, but from anger. Her fists clenched as she tried to stay calm—until she saw them again, a few steps ahead, doing the same thing to a lone woman.

Something inside her went silent.

A memory flashed of Strom's words.

"We don't need weapons, Violet!… because we are the weapons."

Her eyes sharpened. She stepped forward and kicked one of them hard. He staggered but shoved her back. She stumbled, but didn't retreat. She rushed again, landing a punch, then a slap, then a kick. But they were three.

One grabbed her hair—she slapped him hard. Another pushed her—she punched him back. A third hit her—she took it and slammed her heel onto his hand.

He screamed.

But suddenly, someone grabbed her from behind locking her arms in place.

The man whose hand she crushed picked up a glass bottle and smashed it.

CRACK.

He walked toward her slowly, rage in his eyes.

Man: "You shouldn't have come here."

Violet struggled, trying to break free but couldn't.

He swung the glass on her but it stopped mid-air.

A hand gripped his wrist. Tight. Unmoving.

A faint crack echoed of Bones being crushed.

Zyphus stood there, silent, eyes cold. He looked at Violet first, checking her, then turned to the man.

Zyphus: "Didn't anyone teach you to… respect women?"

A sharp kick to the knee dropped him instantly. Before he could react, a clean, brutal and fast punch to the head and he didn't move after that.

The one who held Violet was already on the ground, screaming, his hands are broken now.

The third one stood frozen, in danger.

Zyphus stepped closer but didn't attack.

Zyphus: "You're lucky. If I break your bones too, who's going to clean this trash?"

He glanced at the two on the ground.

Zyphus: "So take them. And remember to—"

The man swallowed: "…Respect women."

Zyphus nodded. "Good. Now go."

The man dragged his friends away without looking back.

The crowd stood silent, watching—but something had changed. Every woman there stood a little straighter.

Zyphus turned, his voice cutting through the market.

"No girl or woman in Elesta will fear anyone—not while I'm alive."

He took Violet's hand and walked toward the castle. As they passed, his eyes caught a statue—silver, decorated with gold and diamonds. His mother.

Beneath it were the words:

"Everything is beautiful… when you know what to see."

He paused for a second, then walked on with Violet.

People teased Zyphus for being scared of talking to women.

But the truth was different.

Zyphus respected everyone.

He never disrespected any woman.

And above all — no girl ever felt unsafe around him.

Because unlike many "brave men"…

Zyphus didn't talk big — he protected big.

Chapter 4 – The Soul Knight

Elesta Royal Library.

Sunlight filtered through stained-glass windows, painting the marble floor in blue and gold.

Zyphus and Violet split off between the towering bookshelves.

Zyphus: "Find a book called The Knights. Ancient records. It should mention him."

Violet: "You're sure that knight is from our land?"

Zyphus: "Yeah. I remember reading about a knight with the same description was there just a little."

Violet nodded, but her mind wandered. The incident in the market still clung to her heart.

She regretted making fun of Zyphus… the jokes, the teasing about girls—now she felt guilty.

Then, on a lower shelf, she spotted it.

A thick, dust-coated volume titled THE KNIGHTS.

Violet: "Brother! I found it."

He walked over, relieved.

Zyphus: "Good."

Violet hesitated before asking, "Can I ask you something?"

Zyphus: "Sure. Anything."

Violet: "Doesn't it bother you? When we tease you about… not being able to talk to women?"

Zyphus blinked. Then shrugged.

Zyphus: "Listen… I don't care about that. It's normal between friends."

Violet: "But you're the best person I know."

Zyphus: "Only because you're my sister."

Something broke inside her. Violet stepped forward and hugged him tightly between the quiet aisles of books.

She finally understood something she always overlooked:

Zyphus didn't love by words—

he loved by presence, by action, by protection.

Violet: "The girl who marries you will be the happiest woman alive."

Zyphus: "Why?"

Violet: "Because you don't need to prove anything.

Your presence alone makes people feel safe."

Zyphus didn't know what to reply. So he simply opened the book.

---

The Knights of Elesta – Ancient Era

The pages were filled with sketches and faded ink. But nothing new.

Only one paragraph mattered:

> "The Soul Knight was a fallen warrior whose spirit refused to pass on, bound eternally to his armor."

Violet exhaled softly.

Violet: "Then maybe… he's just a guardian spirit. He won't harm us."

Zyphus: "I hope your guess is right."

---

Strom's House – Same Time

Sam was staring at The Dragon Knight armor, while Strom explained his insane plan.

Strom: "We're going to upgrade this armor beyond everything we've ever done."

Sam: "Bro WHAT do you want to add now?

It already has:

– durability enchantment

– damage absorption

– self-repair runes

– spike offense

– AND dragon fragments!"

Strom crossed his arms dramatically.

Strom: "More."

Sam (dramatically): "The hell you mean MORE??"

Strom: "It needs something from the earth also."

Sam: "You already used demon bones and magic steel. What else do you want?!"

Strom (smirked): "Vamp."

Sam froze.

Sam: "…You're kidding. Right? RIGHT?!"

Strom: "I know someone who has it."

Sam: "Bro. Vamp is one of the rarest minerals alive.

If you add that to this monster armor—you'll become UNSTOPPABLE."

Strom (leaned forward): "So… you ready?"

Sam (grinned): "F***ing hell yeah."

They walked out of the house with a dangerous plan:

Add VAMP to Strom's armor.

---

What is Vamp?

Vamp is a rare mystical & magical mineral found deep within elemental veins under the surface.

It glows electric blue and requires hybrid temperatures—fire beyond hot—to be melted.

A normal human cannot forge it. Only an experienced mage or a hybrid caster can handle it.

Vamp Properties

• Greatly boosts all forms of magic infused into the object

• Enhances endurance beyond level.

• Strengthens all types of enchantments.

But the most feared part…

The Ability: "Vengeance"

Any enemy who strikes a Vamp-forged surface suffers:

– short breath

– bone pain

– internal strain

– and finally…

Heartbeat get slow...

A weapon that damages without needing to cut flesh.

A weapon that punishes anyone who tries to harm its wielder, because Vamp is an ancient metal that used to forge armour for gods.

Chapter 5 – The Vamp

Sam walked beside Strom through the quiet forest path. Birds chirped. Leaves cracked beneath their boots.

Then a random thought hit Sam like a falling boulder.

Sam: "Actually… I got a question."

Strom: "Sure. Ask anything."

Sam: "Do you actually flirt with other girls, just for attention?"

Strom (brow him): "List out our ten years of friendship.

Have you ever noticed me flirting first?"

Sam thought for a moment…

Then realised—Strom was right.

Sam: "No!"

Strom only matched the way people talked to him. Girls were the ones who started everything otherwise Strom is polite.

Strom: "Exactly. And don't be scared of them."

Sam: "Scared of WHO??"

Strom: "My friends."

Before Sam could ask more, he spotted an old wooden house hidden in the middle of the forest.

Sam: "We're going there?"

Strom: "Yep. That's my friend's house."

They walked up to the door. Strom knocked.

Strom: "KAYLE!!!"

A moment later, the door creaked open, and a demoness stepped out—red skin, black hair, golden eyes glowing faintly.

Kayle: "Well well… look who crawled back."

Strom: "Hello."

Kyle (asking): "And who's that?"

Strom: "My friend. Sam."

Sam: "H-Hi."

Kyle: "Hello, Come in."

---

Inside the House

Despite being demons, their home was cleaner than most human houses.

A soft herbal scent drifted through the air.

Then another demoness emerged—older, elegant, holding a tray with two glasses of water.

Lalian (Kayle's mother): "How is my sweetie doing?"

Strom: "Better now, after seeing my lovely aunty."

Sam blinked.

They ate lunch together, surprisingly peaceful. Only Sam was dying inside from confusion.

After the meal, the truth came out.

Kayle: "So you really want that scrap metal?"

Strom: "It's not scrap."

Kayle: "Then why?"

Sam: "Education purposes."

Kayle snorted.

Kayle: "Very funny. Follow me."

---

The Basement

They descended into a dim, cold basement. Kyle pointed at an ancient wooden chest reinforced with runes.

Kayle: "It's inside that box. But… I don't have the key."

Strom: "Maybe Aunt Lalian—"

Kyle: "No. She doesn't have it either."

Sam: "I can open that."

Kyle: "Go on then, human prodigy."

Sam placed his hand over the ancient seals. A soft glow formed around his fingers.

CLICK.

CRACK.

SHHHK.

The chest opened.

Kayle (eyes widened): "Okay… that was cool."

Inside lay a chunk of glowing blue ore—Vamp.

Sam: "Yep. It's real Vamp."

Strom: "Good. We're taking it."

They walked out of the basement, and before leaving, Strom discreetly handed Kayle a small cloth-wrapped object.

Kayle smirked but said nothing.

---

On the Way Back

Sam: "Who are they actually?"

Strom: "My friends."

Sam: "You never mentioned them before."

Strom: "They hate humans. That's why."

Sam: "Hate humans?? Bro, her mom literally fed us."

Strom sighed.

Strom: "One year ago, I was hunting a beast.

Then I saw Kayle tied to a rock—injured—while some villagers were preparing to burn her."

Sam stiffened.

Sam: "And then?"

Strom: "I scared the shit out of them and rescued her.

She whispered her home address and fainted.. That's how I met her and her mother. They thanked me…

but when they realised I was human, they panicked."

Sam now understood.

Sam: "So they live in the middle of the forest… away from humans, but safe."

Strom: "Exactly. And I promised not to tell anyone.

Only you know now."

Sam: "I won't tell anyone either."

Strom nodded: "Good."

Sam looked at the glowing ore in Strom's bag.

Sam: "How much Vamp do we have?"

Strom: "About one kilogram."

Sam: "That's more than enough. But… what did you give Kayle in return?"

Strom: "Oh. Just a magma stone. She likes making jewelry with it."

Sam: "Makes sense. But… isn't it weird she looks a bit like Wraith?"

Strom: "She does. A little."

The two continued walking, unaware that far behind them in the forest…

Chapter 6 — The Forge and the Soul

The night of the dark forest grew colder, but deep inside the mountain forge, heat ruled everything.

Strom, Sam, and Dravyss gathered inside the vast cavern, the air already trembling from the energy they were about to unleash.

Dravyss – "So you need cosmic flames to melt this?"

Strom – "Yes, Mom. Vamp doesn't melt from normal fire."

Sam – "We've got enough to coat your whole armour. More like… repainting a monster."

Strom – "Then let's cook."

Sam placed the ancient vessel into the furnace. He pulled out Strom's Dragon Pendant, channeling enchantments through it—

because without the Pendant's shielding, Dravyss's true flames would vaporize the cave… and them.

Dravyss shifted into her Guardian Dragon form—

not her full size, but still a colossal 35-foot scaled beast, wings folded tight, eyes burning bright.

Dravyss – "Ready."

Strom – "—SHIELD!"

Strom and Sam braced as the shield ignited around them.

Then Dravyss opened her maw—

FWOOOOOOOSH!!!

Blue cosmic fire, hotter than stars, roared through the furnace.

The cave shuddered. Stones cracked. Air scorched.

Moments later, the metal inside started glowing, then liquifying.

Vamp had melted.

But then—

Dravyss – "I'll paint too."

Sam – "Huh?"

Dravyss – "What? I like painting."

Strom and Sam looked at each other…

Then both sighed together.

Strom – "Okay Welcome to the gang."

The three sat on the stone floor, the molten Vamp drifting like enchanted ink.

They dipped brushes made of monster hair, carefully coating the Dragon Knight armour.

Vamp didn't harden because after melting it's true form is like a liquid—it bonded like a living metal, stitching itself to every scale and spike.

---

Meanwhile in Elesta…

Violet strapped her bow over her shoulder.

Zyphus tightened his diamond armour.

Violet – "So what are we doing? Hunting him?"

Zyphus – "Hunting? No. He hasn't hurt anyone. We're watching him. That's it."

Violet – "Spying. You mean spying."

Zyphus – "Call it whatever you want."

Soon they slipped past the castle walls, silent as shadows.

A mighty knight in full diamond plating, and a little sister in a marksman's coat—

deadly, quiet, and unstoppable.

Violet (casual): "You know, sneaking out at night like this? Actually kinda fun."

Zyphus (serious): "It's a mission, not a picnic."

Violet: "You're still boring a boring dude ."

They reached the waterfall clearing.

And froze.

There stood a knight—

glowing blue, clad in darkened black armour—

speaking into the empty air.

Septor: "No. I said no. I'm not doing this."

Zyphus (whispering): "Who the hell is he talking to…?"

Violet: "Air? Spirits? Stars?"

Zyphus: "Something worse."

Septor stiffened.

His voice cracked, angry, shaking.

Septor: "Don't. Don't you dare speak her name. I'm NOT your vessel!"

Zyphus and Violet exchanged a glance.

Fear crawled up both their spines.

And then—

Septor snapped his head toward them.

Eyes burning.

Septor (cold shouting): "Spying on me?"

A burst of azure energy erupted—

FLASH

He vanished instantly.

Zyphus (confused): "Where the hell did he go?"

Violet: "He saw us. He felt us. That means…"

She paused.

Swallowed.

Zyphus clenched his jaw: "Someone warned him."

Violet: "But… there's no one else here."

Zyphus: "No one we can see."

Both felt their breath freeze.

The same word escaped both their mouths—

"The Demon Lord."

Chapter 7 — Where Is He

Zyphus and Violet kept searching for Septor the entire night.

Mountains, forests, waterfalls—everything checked.

But they found nothing.

Zyphus: "He's gone."

Violet: "Now what…?"

Zyphus: "We find him. And we stop him before he listens to that thing."

---

Next Morning — Strom's House

Sam quietly entered Strom's room holding a bucket of freezing water.

Sam (whispering): "Heh… a cold prank."

But the legendary clown forgot one thing—

Strom wasn't asleep , in the bed they are pillows covered with blanket...

Sam crept to the bed, seeing Strom "sleeping" fully wrapped in a blanket.

Sam: "Perfect!…"

He lifted the bucket…

…and Strom pinched his back from behind.

SPLASHHH!!

Sam accidentally dumped the entire bucket on cold on himself.

Sam: "F-FUCK!! IT'S SO COLD!!"

Strom: "Looks like the prankster got pranked."

Sam (confused): "You were already awake!?"

Strom (proud): "A true knight never sleeps."

Sam: "Bro has some sleeping problems shit."

Strom: "Shut up."

Hearing the loude noice then Dravyss entered the room.

The floor was flooded.

And she had just cleaned the entire house.

Dravyss (with the Mom-Death-Stare): "Both of you. Clean. It."

Strom: "It's Sam's fault."

Sam: "No Aunt Dravyss! It's HIS fault!"

Dravyss: "It's MY house. Now start wiping."

The mighty Dragon Knight and elite mage were now holding wipers like defeated peasants.

Sam (quietly): "This is your fault."

Strom: "You wanted the prank. Now Enjoy."

They kept arguing until they heard voices outside.

Zyphus and Violet were talking to Dravyss.

Zyphus (asking): "Where's Strom?"

Dravyss: "Doing house chores with Sam."

Violet: "What a downfall."

Zyphus: "Sam is also there? Perfect."

When they entered Strom's room—

They found two of the strongest warriors wiping the floor like part-time maids.

Zyphus: "WOW. Fantastic."

Violet: "You two look like housemaids."

Strom: "Stop insulting me. Continue with Sam though, I support that."

Sam: "WHY ONLY ME!?"

After roasting them for a solid minute, Zyphus and Violet finally dropped the bomb.

The Soul Knight.

The glowing armor.

The voice he was talking to.

The disappearance.

Sam (annoyed): "That MF can't chill. Now he's convincing new flocks."

Strom (Jocking): "Bro ran out of servants."

Zyphus: "That thing… is targeting new warriors."

Violet: "But Septor doesn't look strong enough to free him."

Strom: "Doesn't matter. There are many ways to bring the Demon Lord back."

Zyphus: "And we don't know which one he'll choose."

Violet: "Also… Septor is missing."

Strom stood up immediately.

Strom (serious): "Then we find him."

---

The Mission Begins

Armors on.

Weapons sharpened.

Magic ready.

They prepared like they were going to war.

Their theory:

If the Demon Lord wants to return, Septor will follow the ritual steps.

So they split—

Nia guarded nature—forests, rivers.

Dravyss flew sky-high searching for blue light.

Zyphus & Violet checked towns for missing people.

Sam investigated mystical location with ancient secret.

Strom checked locations with High level demons but he don't fear them, demons fear him.

Astrid and Wraith check for the ritual sports if anything happened.

But by evening…

No clues.

No sightings.

Not even a trace.

Wraith: "You guys are sure about what you saw?"

Violet: "He was talking to someone. But we couldn't see him."

Zyphus: "And only one being can hide from us like that."

Astrid: "If Demon Lord is so powerful, why the hell he needs servants?"

Sam: "Because he's WEAK in this dimension."

Strom: "Our timeline has strong gods and dragon guardians."

Nia: "So he's weak only here?"

Strom: "Exactly."

Suddenly Sam froze.

Sam: "…Wait."

Nia: "What now?"

Sam: "Talking about time… I remembered something."

Strom: "Spit it out."

Sam: "We didn't check… the Seal of Eternity, right?."

Silence.

A cold wind passed.

That place—

The one location where any strong being could release the Demon Lord.

All you need is:

Place the Sword of Grimvalvor into the seal's mouth.

Twist it once.

And the curse breaks.

Strom: "EVERYONE, MOVE!!"

Chapter 8: The Seal of Eternity

The moment Nia shifted into Zyron, the sky itself split from the sheer force of her launch. Dravyss scooped the entire team into her claws and blasted upward—cutting through the freezing winds like two cosmic meteors.

Everyone felt the same fear.

What if Septor breaks the seal?

What if the Demon Lord returns?...

Half an hour later, they landed at the Seal of Eternity…

And there he was.

Standing alone. Sword planted into the ground.

Eyes glowing a cold, unnatural blue energy.

Septor (finally): "I will obey you… My Master."

The team dropped hard onto the cracked earth, dust exploding beneath them. The air warmed instantly—the presence of dragons bending nature itself.

Strom: "Stop right now. Or you're done."

Septor (confident): "Try your best."

Zyphus (casual): "Here we go, another overconfident MF."

Violet: "Then we end this together."

Not another word.

They all lunged.

And the fight ended before it even started.

Septor's armor shattered like glass—pieces flying everywhere, instent defeat.

Astrid: "I trained way too hard to disappoint today."

Strom: "Really now?"

But then…

A voice rose from the dust.

Septor: "Weak."

Everyone froze.

He wasn't a Hollow Knight.

He wasn't even close.

He was something far worse.

He was Septor, The Soul Knight...

He stood again—eyes burning blue. With one swing, he unleashed a barrier blast that launched the entire squad, including Dravyss and Zyron.

Septor: "Your soul… is mine."

The barrier expanded across a mile, draining strength from every living creature inside. Even tiny creatures collapsed under the weight of their power being ripped out.

The team felt their strength drop in seconds.

And Septor… grew.

Bigger.

Bigger.

A thousand-foot titan knight.

Septor: "Now look where you stand."

Strom: "I… feel weaker now."

Zyphus: "He drained us! All of us!"

Dravyss: "We are NOT giving up!"

Zyron and Dravyss shot forward—two dragons roaring with half their power but still terrifying. The others charged too.

Septor's sword unleashed wave after wave—Splash Slashes carving up the earth. The dragons got pushed back violently.

Zyron ignited with red cosmic fire. Dravyss followed with her own cosmic blue flame. They struck—

But Septor didn't flinch.

One stomp.

One aura blast.

The entire team got thrown like leaves in a storm.

Zyron: "We need MORE!"

Then Septor raised his sword again…

Another barrier blast charged—

But this time, it wasn't draining.

It was lethal.

Without thinking, Dravyss grew to her full colossal form and wrapped her wings around everyone—

STRUCK.

The impact shook mountains.

Her scales cracked.

Blood dripped.

She collapsed to her knees, unconscious.

Strom: "No… no… NO!"

He sprinted, activated his pendant, and transformed her back to human form scooped her up,—barely breathing in his arms.

Strom: "Nia! Take me to Astrid's village! NOW!"

Nia grabbed him and shot into the sky.

Zyron yanked up the Sword of Grimvalvor—a 120-foot ancient god-slayer—and carried the entire team out of the barrier.

Septor: "RETURN THAT SWORD!"

Zyphus: "Beg at my feet first!"

They outran him, barely landing miles away.

Zyron: "He's definitely coming for this sword."

Zyphus: "And we can't destroy it."

Astrid: "Why not?!"

Zyphus: "Because it belonged to an Ancient God. Grimvalvor killed him with his bare hands and kept the sword. That's the level we're talking about."

Strom, desperate but focused: "Sam… can you increase the size of something?"

Sam: "Depends. Living or non-living?"

Strom: "Non-living."

Sam: "Then yeah. Why?"

Strom: "I'll explain later. Just survive until I come back."

Wraith blinked.

Sam rubbed his eyes.

Zyphus sighed.

And Zyron fly away...

Sam: "He got some serious issues."

Zyphus: "How the hell are we supposed to stop Septor before he arrives?!"

Violet: "We're dead. Yup. We're so dead."

Then—

Astrid walked up to the God-Slayer Sword.

And lifted it.

A 120-foot blade.

As if it weighed nothing.

Zyphus & Violet: "WHAT—"

Sam: "Don't worry. She's strong enough to smack the Demon Lord himself."

They all sprinted away with the sword just as Septor appeared at the horizon…

Slow.

Quiet.

Enraged.

And coming for them...

Chapter 9: The undead warrior

Zyron slammed down in front of Astrid's house—earth shaking—Strom leaping off her back with Dravyss in his arms, bleeding and barely conscious.

He banged on the wooden door.

Flowra opened it… and froze.

Her eyes widened at the sight of Dravyss, broken and limp in Strom's arms.

Strom (voice breaking): "Please… take care of my world. Please."

Flowra took Dravyss gently, holding her close.

Flowra: "I'll take care of her, son. Go."

Strom turned to Nia, fire in his eyes.

Strom: "Graveyard. Now."

Nia: "Grave—what?!"

Strom: "HURRY!"

No time for questions.

Zyron shot into the sky like a crimson comet.

---

The Graveyard

Nia (flying): "Can you PLEASE explain how we're stopping a thousand-foot soul-eating titan!?"

Strom: "Septor feeds on souls. That's all he knows. He's powerful but—"

Nia: "But what!?"

Strom: "—he can't fight. His sword combat is trash. Zero technique. He relies only on that soul energy."

Nia blinked: "So you want someone HUGE… with actual weapon mastery…"

Strom: "Yes. And someone without a soul."

They landed at the graveyard.

Cold. Silent. Wind howling through broken stone.

Nia: "Okay hold on—who the hell is 'without a soul'!?"

Strom: "Roni."

Even the silence seemed to echo.

They walked to the grave of Tasumi, the bar dancer girl—daughter of Roni, The Dark Silver Samurai.

Strom had once placed her Yin-Yang locket on her grave after using its cursed power once. It nearly broke him. He never touched it again.

Until now.

Strom knelt, lifted the locket from the grave.

Strom: "Tasumi… I need your help. One last time."

He grabbed it tight—Nia grabbed him—and they flew back into battle with terrifying speed.

---

Flying back to the fighting ground.

Nia: "Tell me we're going to win."

Strom: "Believe me. That black-blue freak is about to REGRET everything."

They spotted the team in chaos.

Astrid was sprinting while dragging the 120-foot God-Slayer Sword.

Zyphus, Violet, and Sam firing attacks from range.

Wraith summoning ice crystals to slow Septor down.

They weren't protecting the world anymore.

They were just trying not to die.

Nia landed with a thunderous impact and tail-whipped Septor straight in the chest, buying time for Strom's plan.

Strom (to Sam): "Be ready!"

Sam: "BRO READY FOR WHAT!?!?"

Strom sprinted to Wraith.

Strom: "I need your blood!"

Wraith: "HUH—WHAT!?"

Strom: "HURRY!"

Wraith didn't waste time. She sliced her palm—blue demon blood dripping onto Strom's hand and onto the glowing Yin-Yang locket.

The dark magic reacted instantly—sparks, black-light, and pressure waves ripping the air.

Strom: "RONI—COME OUT!"

The locket exploded in black brilliance.

Strom screamed from the pressure and headache—then the magic ripped open in a instent—

And Roni stepped out.

The Dark Silver Samurai.

Cold. Armored. Silent.

His silver plates shining, dark metal dripping shadows.

Mage understood immediately.

Sam: "Say less."

He gathered every particle of mana he had and fired the enlargement spell at Roni.

The samurai grew.

Bigger.

Bigger.

And Bigger...

Until he towered over everything.

Just as Septor swung his sword at Nia—

A massive dark metal katana blocked the strike with a sound like thunder.

CLAAAANG!!

Nia gasped.

Septor slowly turned.

A gigantic samurai stood above him, silver and shadow armor gleaming like moonlight on steel.

The legendary warrior of death…

Roni, The Dark Silver Samurai…

Has returned.

Chapter 10: Soul vs Samurai

Septor raised his hand and unleashed another soul-draining barrier blast, the ground trembling as blue soul energy spiraled into him. Trees withered. Stones cracked. Every living thing lost half its strength.

But Roni…

Roni didn't move.

The Dark Silver Samurai stood like an immovable tower—no soul to drain, no weakness to exploit.

Sam had already cast a mana barrier over the team, and by accident he discovered something important:

Mana shields actually blocks soul magic.

Septor grew larger from the stolen energy.

But Sam smirked: "Hell nah… you're not the only one who can upgrade."

He cast the spell again.

Roni grew.

Until both giants—Soul and Samurai—stood nearly 1,200 feet tall, staring each other down like two mountains about to destroy the sky.

Septor with uncountable souls energy.

Roni with pure skill… and no soul to corrupt.

---

The Clash of Titans begins

The battlefield shook as they clashed.

Metal slammed against metal, so loud the world itself screamed.

The earth split open. Trees flew like dust. The sky flashed white.

CLAAAAAANG!

Another.

Another.

Sparks rained across the torn land like burning stars.

Septor staggered back from Roni's relentless onslaught.

Septor: "WHY ARE YOU NOT DYING!?"

Roni had no voice.

But his blade answered.

Strike after strike—precise, brutal, perfect.

He disarmed Septor, the massive soul-blade crashing into the ground.

Then Roni slammed a colossal fist into Septor's helmet.

Then another.

And another.

Septor tried to fight back—but every attack burned his soul energy, making him weaker, smaller, drained.

He shrank rapidly.

Roni spun his katana and drove it straight into Septor's chest plate.

The armor burst open—soul energy erupting like a dying star.

Septor fell—the titan collapsing in a quake that could shook continents.

Before Roni could finish the job, Strom leapt forward.

Strom: "Roni. STOP."

The giant samurai froze.

The team climbed onto the broken remains of the Soul Knight.

Septor lay on the ground, armor shattered, glowing blue soul fading slowly.

Strom: "Now tell me where you stand."

Zyphus: " he's not standing anywhere. Man is fallen."

Wraith: "See? We're not weak."

Astrid: "Especially ME! HAHAHA!"

Strom stepped closer: "Let's end this. Now."

Septor's voice cracked: "If it's possible… kill me. Please.

It's better than being trapped in this armor."

Everyone froze.

Violet: "Wait—what?"

Septor: "Kill me. I beg you."

Sam: "Why do you sound like it's a curse… not power?"

Septor closed his glowing eyes.

Septor: "Because it IS a curse."

---

Septor's Past

He told them everything.

He was the weakest knight in Elesta.

Physically frail. Always behind.

But he had a gift—a blessing from an unknown ancient god: not from Demon lord.

Soul Manipulation.

With it, he could win battles single-handedly.

Elesta expanded fast thanks to him.

The people adored him:

Children called him Hero.

Women called him Protector.

Elders called him Knight.

But other knights…

They called him cursed.

Jealousy grew.

Hatred twisted.

Only one person saw him for who he truly was:

Julian.

His love.

The one who saw Septor—not the armor.

They planned to marry after the war.

The king himself funded the wedding because Septor was his favourite Knight.

But on that day of joy…

His fellow knights betrayed him.

They struck the wedding the moment the bride arrived.

They killed everyone Septor loved.

Broke his legs.

Left him to die slowly.

And worst—

They killed Julian in front of him.

Septor: "I was helpless. Without my armor, I couldn't absorb a single soul… and they laughed while killing everything I loved."

The team fell silent.

Septor: "My anger… my desire for revenge… merged my dying soul with my armor. And I rose again."

The Soul Knight was born.

He hunted every traitorous knight—

Killing them one by one through the night.

Except one.

One knight escaped Elesta—fleeing far away.

Septor's revenge remained incomplete.

Zyphus: "But why there is NO mention of you in history?"

Septor: "Because they erased me.

My name.

My deeds.

Everything.

I became a forgotten shadow. A knight who 'died in war.'"

Strom knelt beside him: "We're sorry. For everything we said. Forgive us… sir."

Septor: "It has been 500 years… and I'm still trapped in this cursed armor."

Wraith: "Five hundred years… all those knights must be dead. Your revenge is done. You can rest now."

He shook his head weakly.

Septor: "No… not all.

One still lives.

The last knight.

His soul is still out there."

Strom: "Then we will help you."

Zyphus: "Of course. I'm in too."

The team stood ready again for revenge but for him.

Chapter 11 – The Hunt of the Last Knight

Strom called Roni back, the dragon landing with a heavy thud. He tightened the ancient bronze yin yang locker around his wrist.

Septor could barely stand now; Zyphus had both his arms under him, holding him upright.

Strom: "One last question… How do you know another knight is still alive?"

Septor's voice trembled like rusted metal.

Septor: "When my revenge failed, I buried myself away… but I could still feel him. His presence. His soul. He never died."

Zyphus: "How?"

Septor: "In the mountains… his axe struck my helmet. He didn't remember me. But I— I remembered him. It was him."

A cold silence.

Septor: "…Martin."

Zyphus froze for a second.

Zyphus: "Wait… you mean Martin the Axeman?"

Septor lifted his head slightly.

Septor: "Yes. But how do you know him?"

Zyphus sighed, rubbing his forehead.

Zyphus: "He was once a knight. Then he married a witch — the same woman who proved that every soul deserves love. He changed after her."

Wraith: "Then why didn't he recognise him?"

Zyphus: "I don't know. But I do know he lived more than five centuries. Kind, gentle… he helped everyone. It doesn't make sense."

Septor exhaled, long and tired.

Septor: "Kindness can hide darkness too."

Strom: "Zyphus. You know where he lives?."

Zyphus: "Yes. I do."

---

The Forest of the Fallen Witch

They flew on Zyron through a cold dawn and landed near a dense, silent forest. Following Zyphus's lead, they walked to an old, crumbling witch's house.

And there — in the yard — Martin, looking young, strong, and peaceful, playing with children.

Strom whispered silently.

Strom: "There are kids around. We can't kill him here."

Septor clenched his gauntlets.

Septor: "Even with all this power… I still can't take my revenge."

But Martin noticed them — Shadows in the trees — and he gently told the children to run inside.

He walked toward the group, calm but cautious.

Martin: "May I help you?"

Strom's voice was cold.

Strom: "Yes. Help him."

Zyphus stepped forward, presenting Septor like a ghost from a forgotten war.

His eyes widened in absolute terror.

Martin: "…Septor?"

Septor: "You remember me now? I was the friend who believed we were a team. And you betrayed me."

Strom gripped his spear.

Strom: "You've lived enough. Now answer for it."

Martin: "Please… give me a moment."

Violet: "A moment for what?"

He swallowed hard.

Martin: "I know my fault. That's why I help people. Because Septor wanted everyone to be happy."

Septor blinked.

Septor: "…What?"

Martin: "It's true. You were the knight who lifted people up. We— we were jealous. Everyone praised you. We let that jealousy rot us. I regretted it every day since."

He stepped closer, voice cracking.

Martin: "I destroyed your life. I planned your fall. I am the reason you suffered. Brother… I am sorry."

Septor looked stunned — the first time in centuries.

Martin: "I kept myself alive only because my wife's magic held my age. But she is gone. And every year… I climb that mountain for the last flower she loved."

Wraith: "You truly loved her…"

Martin: "With everything I had. And now… it's time I correct my greatest sin."

He placed a trembling hand on Septor's armored shoulder.

Martin: "I'm sorry, brother. I caused your pain. As knights, we swore to protect all… but I failed. My jealousy blinded me. But you will not suffer anymore."

He turned to Strom.

Martin: "You don't have to kill me, Knight."

He removed his locket.

The magic broke instently...

And he began to age — rapidly — like centuries were collapsing onto him at once. His body withered, weakened, and finally crumpled to the ground.

The forest fell silent.

Septor's armor glowed softly. His soul — fractured for 500 years — finally loosened.

Zyphus gently laid him beside Martin's body.

Septor ( whispered ): "I can finally see My love… My Julian… after five centuries, I will be able to see her."

His armor glimmered, releasing tiny fading particles of light.

Septor: "Thank you… all of you."

His soul left the armor.

And the world went quiet.

Aftermath

Morning light spilled softly through Astrid's windows, warm and golden — a sharp contrast to the chaos of the day before.

Inside the quiet room,

Dravyss slowly opened her eyes.

And the first thing she saw was Strom.

Head down.

Hands still holding hers.

Asleep on the table, exhausted from staying awake all night.

She stared at him for a moment — a rare, fragile smile appearing on her face.

Dravyss: "Strom…"

No response.

A little louder.

Dravyss: "Son."

Strom awake, eyes barely open.

Strom: "Y–yeah, Mom— I'm awake —w-what—?"

She squeezed his hand softly, voice low.

Dravyss: "Thank you."

Strom blinked. "For what?"

Dravyss: "For everything."

He exhaled, relieved she was awake.

---

Back in the Main Hall

The house was filled with quiet activity — tired bodies but peaceful hearts.

Wraith carefully wrapped fresh bandages around Violet's arm.

Sam and Nia sat on the floor, leaning on each other as they restored their mana and strength.

Astrid and Zyphus were repairing her armor piece by piece, sparks occasionally flicking into the air.

Then Strom finally walked in, taking a seat in the middle of the hall.

Everyone looked up.

Strom: "Some people… are not villains."

Astrid nodded instantly.

Astrid: "Yes. Septor wasn't."

Strom shook his head.

Strom: "Not only him. Yeyna. Crysera. Azkol… none of them were true villains."

Wraith sighed, leaning back.

Wraith: "I just hope no one else is left serving the Demon Lord. And that he won't make new servants."

Nia: "Yes I'm done hunting them."

Violet: "I don't think he has any left now."

Sam muttered under his breath:

Sam: "I hope what you're saying is true…"

Zyphus: "He won't stop. Not until he returns. That's how Demon Lords work."

Strom leaned forward, eyes sharp, voice cold.

Strom: "He can come. I don't care. I'll stop him — at any cost."

The room fell silent.

Friends.

Family.

Warriors injured but alive.

Each one of them knew the same truth:

Together, they could face anything — even gods — if it meant protecting the ones they loved.
