Ficool

Chapter 14 - 14

In the office on the top floor of the building, both Sowande and Murakami looked incredibly grim.

Before them was the live surveillance footage from the first-floor lobby.

Watching the Hand's proud ninjas being swiftly killed by Rogge as if they were chickens, the Hand's leaders couldn't suppress their rising rage.

The only difference was that after seeing this scene, the volatile Sowande smashed the desk in front of him, while Murakami silently drew the katana from his waist.

"This isn't even a battle on the same level; this kind of death is a disgrace for a ninja."

Although Sowande and Murakami could see the live surveillance footage from the first-floor lobby, they didn't know what those Hand ninjas had actually experienced.

In their eyes, these highly skilled and experienced ninjas seemed to be willingly walking up to Rogge and begging him to end their lives.

"Something's not right; their actions are very abnormal!"

After watching intently for a while, Murakami was certain that the Hand ninjas in the first-floor lobby were in an abnormal state.

But he couldn't determine what kind of abnormality it was.

"Let Black Sky and Elektra take action; if they can't do it, we'll have to abandon this place!"

Murakami made the final decision. The furious Sowande glared at Rogge on the screen before leaving the room.

Sowande went to a secret room on the top floor and roughly awakened a sleeping young boy.

The moment this young boy opened his eyes, the volatile Sowande involuntarily took a few steps back before slowly saying, "A powerful enemy has come here; go and eliminate him, bring back his head!"

After saying that, Sowande quickly left the room, unwilling to stay in that room for even a second longer.

This young boy, who looked to be only in his early teens, was Black Sky, the Hand's sharpest blade and also their most powerful warrior, without equal.

The instant Black Sky opened his eyes, both Rogge, who was heading to the second floor, and Daredevil Matt, who was on the fifth floor, felt a strange chill for the first time.

"Interesting, it seems tonight won't be too boring!"

Although Black Sky's awakening brought a different kind of chill to Rogge, it didn't cause him any worry.

With the Three-Tomoe Sharingan, he feared no close combat.

Moreover, he also possessed ninjutsu including Flying Thunder God, Body Flicker Technique, and Chidori.

Even if Black Sky possessed superhuman strength, he still wouldn't be able to stop his determination to complete the commission.

Unlike Rogge's indifference, after sensing Black Sky's awakening, Daredevil Matt stopped moving forward, instantly became highly alert, and silently tightened his grip on the multi-functional baton in his hand.

At the same time Sowande awakened Black Sky, Murakami also issued an order to Elektra, who was on the top floor, to eliminate the intruder at any cost.

"Your will is my mission!"

Elektra, dressed in a tight-fitting red ninja suit, knelt on one knee to Murakami before heading towards Rogge on the second floor.

Until this moment, Sowande and Murakami hadn't discovered that an intruder was also hiding on the fifth floor of the building.

Perhaps it was because Rogge had left too deep an impression on them, or perhaps it was because they hadn't realized that Rogge would have companions, Daredevil Matt hadn't encountered any Hand ninjas since infiltrating, nor had any battles broken out.

The first floor of the building was a standard lobby, while the second floor was decorated like a normal office area, with common office cubicles as far as the eye could see.

The only difference from a normal office area was that standing in these cubicles weren't white-collar workers in formal attire, but a group of ninjas wielding katanas.

"Still working overtime so late, it seems you guys really love this job!"

As soon as Rogge finished speaking, the brightly lit second floor plunged into darkness.

The Hand ninjas turned off all the lights on the second floor, actively creating a dark environment, attempting to use the darkness to kill the intruding Rogge.

"The idea is good, but unfortunately, your strength can't keep up with your ideas!"

Rogge was holding a katana that he had snatched from a Hand ninja on the first floor, with fresh blood constantly dripping from the tip of the blade.

The Hand ninjas on the second floor obviously had no intention of wasting words with Rogge. At the same time as turning off the lights, they also threw out one smoke bomb after another, instantly enveloping the already dark second floor in smoke.

For a normal person, the dark environment coupled with smoke would be enough to put them in an extremely disadvantageous situation.

Unfortunately, these Hand ninjas weren't facing a normal person.

Thanks to the super-strong insight given by the Three-Tomoe Sharingan, the dark environment and smoke didn't have much of an impact on Rogge; he could still clearly see the every move of these Hand ninjas.

Whether it was because the higher the floor, the stronger the Hand ninjas, Rogge could clearly feel that these Hand ninjas on the second floor were obviously stronger than those on the first floor during the fight.

Although they weren't as numerous as those on the first floor, their cooperation with each other, as well as their methods of attack, seemed more experienced and more vicious.

Using the not-so-spacious environment of the second floor and their tacit cooperation, these Hand ninjas created the most favorable battle situation so far.

After fighting each other for several minutes, Rogge suddenly stopped, no longer chasing these jumping ninjas, but abnormally staying in place.

At the moment Rogge stopped moving forward, a sharp and unparalleled attack struck towards his neck like lightning, the gleaming blade only a few centimeters away from his neck.

Just as the blade was about to slice Rogge's neck, Rogge's figure flashed instantly, the blade suspensefully slicing past his neck, leaving a tragic blood line.

Substitution Technique!

Sensing the sudden attack from behind, Rogge decisively used the Substitution Technique, instantly switching his position with a Hand ninja not far in front of him.

This Hand ninja would never have imagined that he would become the target of Rogge's Substitution Technique.

He didn't have time to react at all; until the moment the blade sliced through his neck, he didn't know what had happened.

Rogge didn't know many ninjutsu, so he especially cherished each of his ninjutsu.

The Substitution Technique of ordinary ninjas can only instantly switch with animals or plants to avoid attacks.

But the Substitution Technique he used could target animals, plants, or other miscellaneous things as long as the distance wasn't too far.

Including his enemies and opponents.

If the replacement distance of the Substitution Technique wasn't too short, he would have wanted to continue specializing in this ninjutsu to see if he could strengthen it to a level similar to Amenotejikara in the later stages.

For him, the level of ninjutsu wasn't the most important thing; the most important thing was how to use ninjutsu.

Even an E-rank ninjutsu can produce miraculous and earth-shattering effects as long as it's used properly.
