Chapter 179 - Chapter 179 No One Objects

Looking at Hiccup's half-smile, Stoick was at a loss for words.

A sense of loss welled up in his heart, as ever since he became chief, he had been managing the thousands of people on Berk Island.

And every day, there were endless trivial troubles.

Now, Hiccup had taken most of the villagers and become a Dragon Knight; there weren't many people left on Berk Island, and they were all elderly.

Normally, these elders shouldn't pose many problems, but what Stoick hadn't expected was how incredibly troublesome they were.

They were too stubborn, even defying his orders, not putting him, their leader, in their eyes at all. Sometimes, they would even act their age and say, "When I was fighting, Stoick was still herding sheep!"

Hiccup looked at Stoick and could roughly guess what he was thinking, but he hadn't returned to discuss management, so he went straight to the point: "Father, I've returned for an important matter!"

Stoick smiled faintly and said, "You've already captured the Dragon Nest, what else could be important?"

Hiccup looked into Stoick's eyes and said, "Look at this!"

Stoick picked up the scroll, read it, and muttered, "As far as I know, this might be the last Night Fury!"

"So that means the person being hunted on this bounty is you!?"

Hiccup nodded and said, "That's right! It's me! And I came back this time to tell you that Berk Island needs a new name!"

"No! Impossible! The name Berk Island was named after our ancestor Berk. How could I agree to change it? Even if I did, I'm afraid those old fellows wouldn't agree!"

Hiccup said confidently, "Don't worry! Call them over and tell them about this! They will definitely agree!"

Hearing this, Stoick was clearly unwilling to believe it, but he still went out and gathered the remaining villagers in Valhalla!

When these elders walked in, they all bowed respectfully to Hiccup and said, "Respected Divine Emissary, you look even more powerful. This is truly an honor for our Berk Island!"

"Odin above, I've seen the Divine Emissary again today. Is today my lucky day!?"

After all the villagers on Berk Island had gathered, Hiccup waved his hand and said, "Everyone, quiet!"

As Hiccup's voice fell, the entire Valhalla instantly became silent.

Stoick looked at the scene before him in disbelief. Usually, he had to shout for a long time before these people would barely quiet down to listen to him.

Now, it was deathly silent, as if they had been put under a stasis spell!

Hiccup glanced at the surprised Stoick, then opened his mouth and said, "I propose changing the name of Berk Island!"

"I agree!"

"I agree too!"

"I have no objections!"

A group of elders expressed their opinions, and no one objected; they were surprisingly unanimous.

Stoick's eyes widened in astonishment, then he stood up and asked, "This is about changing the name of our Berk Island. You actually agree?"

"Normally, when I ask you to turn off the lights, there are a lot of objections. Why would you agree to change the name of Berk Island now? It's named after our ancestor!"

Stoick looked at Hiccup with some disbelief, even suspecting that Hiccup had secretly tampered with things, and that Hiccup had sent people back in advance to persuade everyone.

However, these elders did not directly answer Stoick's questions, but instead retorted, "The name Berk Island has been used for hundreds of years! Why can't it be changed?"

"Exactly! It's just a name, why can't it be changed?"

"Our ancestor only found Berk Island as a place to survive, he didn't protect our Berk Island like the Divine Emissary!"

"Not only did he bring us peaceful and stable lives on Berk Island, but he also allowed us to move back home from that hellish tribe! If I weren't old, I would definitely erect a statue for the Divine Emissary!"

Listening to the villagers speak indignantly, Hiccup smiled faintly and said, "There's nothing to be done!"

Stoick could only sigh and say, "Alright! Since that's the case, then change the name!"

Hiccup wouldn't inquire about the new name; as long as it wasn't Berk Island, those who issued the bounty would only target himself and Second Island.

They wouldn't harm these elders.

After everything was handled, Hiccup walked towards the Dragon Jail, looking at the Golden-haired Siren in the pool, he smiled faintly and said, "What a tough life! This didn't freeze you to death!"

After all, the Viking Warriors on the island feared this siren and dared not approach her. Only the Dragon Knight would come periodically to collect the magical liquid.

The Golden-haired Siren's originally hollow, lifeless eyes regained a glimmer of light after seeing Hiccup.

Immediately, she looked at Hiccup and said, "Release me! Please release me! Whatever you want, our Sea Tribe can satisfy you! Even if it's gifting you a human city-state, or an island ten times larger than this!"

Hiccup's lips curved slightly upward; he would not believe her words. If he released her now, she would surely lead a large army to attack Berk Island within an hour.

So, Hiccup looked at the Golden-haired Siren and said, "Now, if you just tell me everything about the Sea Tribe, I will definitely release you! Otherwise, there's nothing to discuss!"

The Golden-haired Siren said with extreme helplessness, "I will never betray Lord Sea God, and certainly not my kingdom!"

Hiccup looked coldly at the siren and said, "Do you think that even if you told me about your country, I could lead the Dragon Knight to attack? Or rather, that I would kill you after learning the secrets of the Sea Tribe?"

"How could you be betraying your country, and even less so the Sea God, after all, the Sea God has no time to bother with you!"

After saying this, Hiccup did not linger and turned to leave, allowing her more time to think and stimulating her desire for survival.

In reality, Hiccup hadn't gone too far; he merely went to the warehouse to check the remaining weapons and equipment on Berk Island, as the island only had a few remaining Dragon Knight and some elders.

If they encountered a small pirate group, they could handle it, and if they encountered a large army attack, they could calmly leave.

Fortunately, Berk Island had plenty of Bows and crossbows. Even if they encountered a large army attack, they could resist for some time, perhaps even long enough for him to bring the Dragon Knight for support.

Immediately, Hiccup swung himself onto Night Fury's back and flew in the opposite direction from Berk Island. After flying at high speed for an hour, and once he was far enough, Hiccup took out an arrow dipped in magical potion and threw it into the ocean, waiting...
