Looking at Hiccup's half-smile, Stoick was at a loss for words.
A sense of loss welled up in his heart, as ever since he became chief, he had been managing the thousands of people on Berk Island.
And every day, there were endless trivial troubles.
Now, Hiccup had taken most of the villagers and become a Dragon Knight; there weren't many people left on Berk Island, and they were all elderly.
