Chapter 57 - Chapter 57 Three Iron Rules

After a long time, the area below finally became completely quiet, with every pair of eyes fixed on Hiccup in mid-air.

However, Hiccup had no intention of ending things there, and instead said to the villagers below, "Everyone line up according to height from shortest to tallest! Males on the left, females on the right!"

Hearing such a strange command, Stoick immediately furrowed his brow, but in front of so many people, he couldn't possibly let his child lose face.

So, his silence on the side was taken as tacit approval of the command.

However, the villagers below had no intention of obeying Hiccup's command, and they all looked around in confusion.

"Why is this happening? Why do we have to line up?"

"Exactly! This spot is the best, and I was here first, so it's mine!"

"My ear was already attacked by a Dragon, so I can't hear clearly. What's wrong with standing at the front?"

This command immediately stirred up the villagers below, and Stoick roared, "Everyone be quiet! Execute this command immediately!"

Sure enough, the Chief's words still had an effect; these villagers obediently complied and quickly lined up according to their height.

Fortunately, this open space was large enough to accommodate all these people.

After everyone had lined up, they were all happily chatting with their neighbors, mostly complaining about how useless this command was.

"What's the point of standing like this?"

"Exactly! If you don't want to give us a Dragon, then don't waste our time here!"

"My fishing boat is still waiting for me at the harbor. If I don't go fishing today, I won't have a chance later."

The villagers below were saying all sorts of things, and Hiccup suddenly felt a bit helpless. After all, he alone couldn't out-shout all of them.

Furthermore, these people didn't take him seriously at all and weren't willing to listen to him; their only interest was the Dragons.

And from their fervent eyes, it was clear that they wanted to personally tame these Dragons.

In desperation, Hiccup could only pat Night Fury's neck, prompting him to let out a Dragon roar.

"Roar~~~!"

Hearing Night Fury's roar, the villagers below finally quieted down a bit, but some were still whispering.

So Hiccup directly said, "Now! Anyone still talking, please leave here!"

At this, everyone quickly shut their mouths, not daring to speak anymore, fearing that they would anger Hiccup and miss the chance to get a Dragon.

Stoick watched the villagers below, who were already getting angry, but he couldn't disregard his son's face. As both Chief and father, he was in a difficult position.

So he directly spoke on behalf of the villagers below and asked, "Hiccup! You said today that you would distribute Dragons to the strong warriors on Berk Island! When will you start distributing them, and to whom!?"

After hearing these words, these irritable Vikings finally truly calmed down.

Hiccup said somewhat angrily, "Listen up, everyone! The Terror Dragon has already been given to the most diligent women on Berk Island! They will produce toilet paper for everyone!"

"The reason they were able to get a Terror Dragon is because they absolutely obey commands! And they never interrupt others when they are speaking!"

"The conditions for getting a Dragon today are the same two!"

Although the villagers were filled with questions, they didn't dare to speak, only staring blankly at Hiccup, and that was exactly the effect Hiccup wanted.

Seeing that no one dared to interrupt him, Hiccup continued, "To get a Dragon! The first point is to obey commands! Whenever and wherever, as long as it's my command, you must obey! And it must be unconditional obedience!"

After saying this, Hiccup deliberately paused. Although the villagers below were unconvinced, they dared not refute or speak.

Then, Hiccup continued, "Second point! Anyone who wants a Dragon must take a bath every week!"

"Third point! You must fish to feed the Dragons! You cannot let them go hungry! Otherwise, it will affect their combat effectiveness!"

"Those who can do these three points, raise your hand so I can see you!"

The villagers below looked at each other, and then dozens of people slowly raised their hands, not forgetting to glance at those around them to see if anyone was competing with them.

Hiccup thought to himself, "It's pretty much as I expected! But this result is quite good, at least there isn't no one!"

In fact, Hiccup had already prepared for the worst; if there really was no one, then he would lead the Dragon group into battle himself.

But now, there were only twenty Dragon vacancies, so he could only choose twenty people.

Hiccup turned to Astrid and said, "Go get the box I prepared!"

Astrid was momentarily stunned, then rode Stormfly straight towards the Blacksmith Shop. She vaguely remembered that there seemed to be a box that always accompanied Hiccup.

After retrieving the box, Hiccup said, "Those who raised their hands just now, come here and reach in! If you grab a red iron nail, you can take a Dragon!"

This iron box was actually a box Hiccup usually used for making shields. To create colorful shields, the nails inside were also painted.

Although they were just natural dyes and would fade after a while, they were sufficient for now.

Soon, twenty people excitedly showed off the red iron nails in their hands.

Then, under the envious gazes of everyone, they began to choose their own Dragons.

Hiccup hadn't expected Snotlout to also grab a red iron nail, so he directly assigned him next to the one-horned Terrible Terror.

Looking at the Terrible Terror with only one Dragon horn, Snotlout instantly felt a bit disgusted, but he did now have a Dragon companion, and it was even recognized by the Vikings as the strongest Dragon!

Hiccup patted Snotlout's shoulder and said, "The other Dragon horn is in my hand! Later, have Gobber forge an iron ring and attach that Dragon horn!"

"This way, you can not only fight with the Dragon horn but also hold on more steadily!"

After saying this, Hiccup directly turned and left, then swung himself onto Night Fury's neck, and said to the group of people who had received Dragons, "Everyone listen up!"

"From now on, whoever dares to violate these three iron rules! I will directly reclaim their Dragon!"

Listening to Hiccup's words, everyone's expression became serious, and some even lost interest in these Dragons due to the potential trouble, so they simply turned and left...
