Chapter 89 - All-Father Odin Is Completely Suppressed, The Majesty of the All-Father Shatters!

"Cassius! Look out!" Behind him, Hela let out an urgent warning at the sight of the heavy attack. She could clearly feel that Odin had reached his breaking point. This was undoubtedly a full-power strike from him.

While she had always wanted to kill Odin, she knew just how powerful he was. This one attack could easily kill her!

Whoosh!

Even with the terrifying energy hurtling towards him, Cassius showed no fear. Instead, a calm expression was on his face, as if this attack was nothing more than a soft piece of cotton.

"A Skyfather-level attack?" Cassius's lips curled into a smile. He stood his ground, reaching out and grabbing the tip of Gungnir with his right hand.

Even though he had caught the tip, a terrifying amount of energy erupted from the spear. A horrifying output of power instantly surrounded Cassius. The tip of the golden Gungnir's spearhead shattered, and the energy shards shot out like fine needles, wildly rushing toward Cassius.

A terrifying force erupted from Gungnir, and a fierce wave of air surged forward. But Cassius showed no emotion in the face of this overwhelming onslaught.

A dark red energy emanated from his body, yet his hair was still blown into a mess. Ultimately, the power was no match for him. Gungnir flashed for a moment before finally stopping.

"This is the so-called All-Father? It seems you're a lot weaker than I imagined." Cassius casually threw Gungnir back at Odin. The sharp spearhead plunged into the ground right beside Odin's foot.

This was a naked act of provocation. With his physical strength and the Phoenix Force, he could easily stop Gungnir. Although the power was impressive, it was far too weak compared to his own. While Gungnir was a divine artifact, it still had a limit.

"He's... so strong!" Hela's eyes widened in shock. Previously, she had used three moves and still couldn't injure Cassius, but that didn't mean anything against Odin. However, from what she was seeing, Cassius was at least an equal match for Odin!

Odin was a Skyfather-level being, yet he couldn't even harm Cassius. He truly was the man she had taken a liking to! He could face such danger with such grace and composure.

"He actually caught my father's Gungnir! How did he do that?!" Thor's eyes were wide with disbelief. He knew that Odin had attacked in a fit of rage. Even the Celestials had to avoid a direct attack from his father.

Yet, this man named Cassius had caught it so easily. This was like a dream. He couldn't wrap his head around how it was possible. He had never seen anyone stop Odin's Gungnir since he was born. And after catching it, Cassius's expression was calm, composed, and he even had a slight smile on his face, as if he was provoking Odin. To throw the weapon back was an act of pure contempt.

Even the golden-armored warriors behind them had their eyes wide open. Many of them had fought alongside Odin. They knew just how terrifying his power was. This move could easily pierce the chest of a Fire Giant. Yet, it had no effect on this Midgardian.

"That Midgardian's power is so terrifying!"

"King Odin must not have used his full power! Otherwise, how could that man have stopped it?"

"I can't believe such a powerful being exists in this remote place!"

"..."

A low murmur of whispers spread through Odin's army. The sound reached Odin's ears, and his face flushed red. Seeing the Gungnir stuck in the ground in front of him, he felt a deep sense of humiliation. It was as if he was being told that even if he was given his weapon, he would never win.

He had faced many enemies, but he had never encountered one that treated him with such contempt. His face was flushed, and an unspeakable rage surged within him.

"Damn you! You cursed fool!" Odin's voice boomed like thunder, echoing across the vast land. He clenched his hands around the Gungnir in front of him. A golden light, like lightning, flickered around him.

His one remaining eye shot out a golden beam, and the ground he stood on began to crack. A golden light shone out from the cracked earth, and a terrifying force, like a wandering earth dragon, pushed the ground up.

Even more terrifying was that the golden light shot straight into the sky, tearing a golden pillar through the dark red sky and shining down on him. This power seemed to be able to destroy all things in the world. Everything around him was enveloped in a golden light. It carried a terrifying energy that even shattered the air!

The shattered space, like pieces of glass, emitted a golden light.

"Midgardian, you have successfully angered me." Odin ground his teeth as he glared at Cassius. He had to make Cassius understand that the dignity of the All-Father was not to be violated!

He pulled Gungnir from the ground. When Gungnir touched the light, it was like a whirlpool, constantly absorbing the energy from it while letting out a humming sound. It was as if it also felt Odin's rage. The spearhead even trembled slightly.

The next moment, Odin moved. When he moved, space itself shattered. It was as if this space could not contain his power. He swung Gungnir at Cassius. At the same time, he stomped his right foot on the ground. A cloud of dust rose up over ten meters high. The sound of the explosion rippled outward. With just one movement, the world changed rapidly.

Gungnir flew as if it could travel through time and space. In the blink of an eye, it appeared in front of Cassius's eyes. The golden light was about to pierce his eyes.

"This looks interesting. Is this Odin's power?" Cassius saw that Gungnir was less than a centimeter away from him, yet he showed no sign of panic.

He was as if he was in slow motion. The entire world had stopped, and only he could move easily. His hand instantly touched the tip of Gungnir's spearhead. When the dark red light touched Gungnir's tip, waves of energy rippled outward. It was like throwing a small stone into a lake. Though it was just a small ripple, it easily stopped the attack.

At the same time, Cassius grabbed the falling Gungnir. He had to admit that this attack was much more interesting than the last one. It even required him to use the Phoenix Force to stop it.

Boom!

A fierce sonic boom erupted from Odin. Even the air couldn't keep up with his speed. They could faintly see a streamline of air forming on Odin's body. He was like an unstoppable meteor, charging at Cassius with a huge momentum.

This was clearly a feint to use Gungnir to attract Cassius's attention and then get in close. Odin was incredibly savage, and Cassius had to admit that his combat awareness was very strong. If this were any other enemy, they probably wouldn't have noticed the charging Odin at all.

Cassius's lips curled into a smile. He casually threw Gungnir to the side. His eyes glowed with a golden light, gathering endless power. The golden light in his eyes shot out like a pillar, and two terrifying beams with immense power shot toward Odin.

Where the beams passed, the ground melted like cheese under a hot knife, turning into a red liquid. As the powerful energy surged, it was like a roaring flood, gushing outward. Even the air around them rippled as if it were boiling water.

The air temperature rose sharply, reaching over a thousand degrees in an instant, and even the surrounding sand began to melt. As the temperature of the air rose, even the golden-armored warriors in the distance felt their armor begin to soften.

When the golden light hit Odin, the two terrifying energies collided.

In an instant, the entire world seemed to pause. All colors returned to their primal state, turning black and white. Time itself seemed to have frozen. Everyone's senses had stopped. The power that erupted from these two energies seemed to be able to destroy even time.

In an instant, a deafening roar echoed across the land, and a golden light tore through the oppressive red light. The two golden beams erupted at this moment, and everyone couldn't help but close their eyes!

Crack! Crack! Crack!

Rumble!

The aftershock of the collision spread outward from the center. The ground instantly cracked and then began to float upward. The ground then shook violently and quickly exploded in all directions. Countless pieces of dirt surged outward like a tidal wave.

"Fall back!" Thor roared at the golden-armored warriors. This level of combat was something they couldn't withstand, not even the aftershocks. They all fled into the distance.

The exploding land was so huge it seemed to blot out the sky. It even created waves of dirt over a hundred meters high.

Hela had thought she would be caught in the aftershocks, but she realized that Cassius had even managed to distract himself enough to move her to a safe distance.

It was a terrifying sight.

A gigantic, mushroom-cloud-like golden energy slowly rose into the sky.

At this moment, Hela finally understood just how terrifying Cassius's power was. He had never even used his true power against her. She looked at the dazzling golden light, unable to even keep her eyes open. Not even the sun could outshine this terrifying light.

"Is... that my father's power?" Thor stopped and looked back, his heart racing. He had thought that Hela's power was strong, but it was on a completely different level from his father's.

Since he was a child, he had never seen Odin use his full power. But this time, he finally understood just how terrifying his father was. And what surprised him even more was that the man named Cassius also had such terrifying power.

At the same time, high up in the sky, a Quinjet was flying. However, a sudden gust of wind caused the aircraft to violently shake.

"What's going on?!"

"What's happening down there?!" Tony's expression turned serious as he felt the violent turbulence. This was his proud Quinjet. It could maintain stability even in a hurricane. Yet, he hadn't expected to encounter such violent turbulence.

The next second, a giant golden pillar of light shot up into the sky from the horizon. The dazzling light shone through the cockpit windows, and everyone had to squint!

[Boss, there's been an energy explosion ahead!] Friday reported the data.

"What's the energy level?!" Tony snapped out of his daze and urgently asked, looking at the dazzling golden light.

[According to our sensors, two energy bodies collided. The resulting explosion is no less than a hundred torpedo missiles detonating at the same time!] When Friday reported the results, everyone's faces turned pale. A hundred missiles detonating at the same time! What could have caused such a terrifying amount of power?!

"Ah, what a cursed city New York is. I guess God wants to destroy this city of sin?" Rhodey frowned and complained. The energy fluctuation was too much!

"I can't believe it! What is this energy?!" Natasha took a deep breath, her eyes filled with fear. She didn't even know if she would have a chance of surviving if she joined this fight. No, to be more precise, she would be obliterated instantly.

"What in the world is going on? Could it be that mysterious person?!" Tony's mind suddenly brought up that figure.

Among everyone present, only Wanda's expression was strange. Her intuition told her that this could really be Cassius.

Bang!

A massive vortex tore open the sky, swallowing the golden light in an instant. A heartbeat later, a deafening blast, like a missile detonation, ripped through the air.

From above, a figure plummeted, slamming into the earth with bone-rattling force. The ground quaked violently as a thunderous sonic boom erupted, a blinding white shockwave rippling outward. Shards of shattered earth burst skyward, raining debris in all directions.

Inside the huge crater, a disheveled figure lay in the center. The disheveled figure of Odin looked up with great difficulty. His normally well-groomed beard was covered in ash. His neatly combed hair was a mess. He looked completely defeated. He knew Cassius was powerful, but he never expected him to be this strong.

"Gungnir!" Odin roared, summoning Gungnir. The spear instantly returned to his hands. He clenched Gungnir, channeling the Odinforce into it. Gungnir began to extend, turning into a 1.5-meter-long glowing spear in the blink of an eye!

Odin held the divine spear and turned into a rainbow, shooting straight into the sky. Cassius charged to meet him, and the two collided again.

A vortex erupted.

"Come on then!" Cassius's lips curled into a smile. He gritted his teeth, surrounded by a dark red aura, and his right hand formed a fist, colliding with Gungnir. The next moment, Odin was thrown back.

Odin's expression was filled with disbelief! Before he could react, Cassius kicked him, sending him flying far away!

Meanwhile, in the Quinjet, Tony looked into the distance. High up in the sky, a figure stood unmoving between heaven and earth.

"That figure..." Tony's expression changed. The figure was all too familiar!
