One month has passed since Yuehan has awakened his tool spirit, and during that time, he's done mostly nothing new except paint his protowatch with crushed berries he has found around the village as well as try and find out what his tool spirit is supposed to do. Yuehan has found nothing about it except its physical characteristics and that he can summon it 7 times before getting exhausted.
Today is the day that Yuehan starts his journey in school, or it would be if he didn't have to wait in a carriage for a week driving to the nearest city.
"So, are you already? Have you got everything?"
"Yes, I have everything," Yuehans hops on the carriage. Right before leaving, Yuehan tosses his protowatch to Menren. "Don't forget about me,"
he says as loudly as his throat will allow him to be earning him a glare from the soul master driving the carriage.
10 minutes into the weeklong ride, Yuehan gets bored and starts asking the Coachman questions
"How is owning a carriage?"
"Being a coachman is great. I mean, I have all the free time in the world, " the coachman replies boastfully. "Do you ever feel lonely having so much free time?". Yueha asks with a look of pity
"It does get lonely sometimes, but it's worth it, so kids don't feel pity for lousy old me." They continue to talk for the rest of the journey about the wonderful places and people the coachman has met during his travels.
once such story that was told was the story about the clear sky clan and how this once significant clan had to shut its doors because of one person and its sub clans split from the main clan,
after two days of traveling, "How soul masters raise their soul essence or power," Yuehan asks
"We meditate, of course." Yuehan is puzzled by Chefu's answer. " How would you meditate?" Yuehan asks curiously. " To meditate, you would need to absorb the essence around you. There is essence everywhere, and there's different techniques to absorb them, but the most basic and the one that I learned when I went to nourding Academy that you are heading to is to let your spirit soul absorb the essence in the surrounding"
Chefu throws a slim 5 page book at Yuehan. "You would have gotten this on your first day of the academy, but I'll give it to you early" Yeuhan Beams with excitement and does a 90 degree bow and says thank-you in a hurried manner while opening the slim book. After two minutes, Yuehan cheeks get a little red, and he looks up and says
"ummm, I can't read. Mr. Chefu erupted in laughter for a few minutes.
Yuehan hides in his shirt and whispers, "Can you please not laugh at me, Mr.Chefu?" This just makes him laugh Louder, but he stops laughing. "Don't worry about it I'll teach you until we reach the academy"

The carriage stops at the front gate of the academy where two guards watch the carriage drop off a six-year-old boy with a tattoo of a device that the guards have never seen before on his right hand.
"Identify yourself," one of the guards says in a bored tone. Yuehan explains in excitement. They allow him to talk to the receptionist of the academy. He skips his way to 5.2 brunette behind a table. "Hello there, you must be new. How about you fill these forms out while I finish my work at the moment?" The brunette tells the boy, and he nods in a rush manner.

"Your Name is Shi Yuehan, six years old and a tool spirit pocket watch?" she asks curiously
"Can you please show me this pocket watch, little Mr?" she asks in puzzlement, having never seen or heard of such a tool spirit she thinks while he summons his tool spirit in vibrant blue aurora, drawing her attention to the detailed tattoo on his arm."This is a pocket watch?, is it a weapon spirit or a support spirit?" she asks in bewilderment while examining the tool spirit.
"I'm not sure," Yuehan replied with uncertainty.
"It's OK most soul masters with strange soul spirits find out after obtaining their first spirit ring, which shouldn't be too far off from now," she says to relax the boy. "Ok, can you place your hand here to test your spirit essence?" she points to a dark ball that's connected to a strange square device to the side. " Didn't I already test my spirit essence when I was awakened?" he asks in a suspicious tone. "No, that device shouldn't be accurate with it just giving off a glow if someone has some spirit essence. spirit hall gives a downgraded orb in case people lose it on the go. while this one will stay at the school with it being able to narrow it down to a specific level. is it not fascinating?" she tells him with excitement clearly in her voice.

We can see the receptionist stop at a door with a sign on the door saying dorm 7. "This is where you will be staying for the next 5 years, so get comfortable." he nods and opens the door to see that no one else is inside. "It appears you're first to show up, so go pick a bed fast," she says in a gentle tone while walking away. Yuehan runs to one closest bed to the window on the right. 'How comfortable it is by laying down and going to sleep since school starts in two days'.
