Aaron turned, his eyes meeting hers. The Sorcerer Supreme rested one hand over the Eye of Agamotto at her chest.
With a calm smile, he asked again:
"Ancient One, will you join me and become one of my Underworld?"
The Ancient One's brow furrowed.
Aaron pressed on.
"I can grant you eternal life. You could walk at my side into a far greater world, unbound by the limits of this small planet…"
To be honest, she was tempted.
But her mind was weighed with concerns. On Earth, there were now very few who could challenge the Lord of the Underworld.
The lofty Aesir gods would never move against him for the sake of a single planet.
She knew Odin's mind all too well.
Though she had never met him directly, her journeys across the currents of time with the Time Stone had revealed his cunning countless times.
"Your underworld seems… unfinished."
She neither accepted nor outright refused, merely stating what she observed.
"Oh? And what does the magician suggest? Do you have a solution?"
Aaron raised an eyebrow, intrigued.
The Ancient One hesitated, then spoke slowly.
"The Infinity Gems… I have seen them. The one you possess—is it the only one?"
As an all-knowing god, Aaron had long foreseen the existence of the Infinity Gems.
But they could not be easily found. Each Gem carried its own destiny.
The first to appear in this era was in fact the Eye of Agamotto itself—housing the Time Gem, one of the six Infinity Gems.
Though in the greater timeline it would emerge later, its ability to traverse any point in time made it the earliest to come into play.
"Mr. Aaron, you are indeed omniscient and omnipotent…"
The Ancient One smiled faintly, removing the Time Gem from within the Eye of Agamotto with casual ease.
"Since the birth of the universe, six singularities came into being. These six singularities are the source of the laws that govern all existence."
"From them emerged six artifacts of unimaginable power—the Infinity Gems. Each Gem embodies a completely different aspect of reality. Whoever holds them can command the entire universe."
"Oh? Is it truly that powerful?"
