Chapter 3 - Chapter 2: The Ultimate Dark Awakening

Odin, despite his strength as an All-Father, was defeated in a single encounter with Hades. Thrown from the sky and sealed for a thousand years, it was a profound humiliation. A millennium might be a brief span for the gods of Asgard, but with internal power struggles and powerful enemies at their borders, this period promised to be difficult.

What would happen to Asgard, Hades did not know, as his real body was damaged and he had to rest for a while. His soul, just as it did before every Holy War, would now inhabit a new body on Earth, or Midgard.

An English town.

Baron Kent was anxiously waiting outside a room. The child he had waited for for ten months was finally about to arrive.

"Wah! Wah! Wah!!"

"It's here! It's here!!"

The baby was born! The child's father was naturally overjoyed. But at that moment, a terrifying aura suddenly enveloped the entire town. The already cold winter day became even colder the moment the baby was born. The sky filled with an endless heavy snowfall, instantly blocking off the entire town.

The moment the baby came into the world, all of Midgard, the Earth, felt a suffocating pressure.

"This child..."

The child's father was a down-on-his-luck baron in the Kingdom of England. In his early years, he had been a great nobleman, but after his grandfather's business failed, they moved from the capital of London to this town.

"The child's eyes are so beautiful!" a family member exclaimed.

"But... why do I feel like he's staring at us?" another said with a tremble.

"His eyes are so beautiful. Why don't we call him Aaron?" another suggested.

The Kent family, a branch of the Windsor family, was a large family. Though they had fallen on hard times, they could still support themselves. The family was well-known in the small town, but with the birth of Baron Kent's son, everything began to change.

An endless, severe cold started to cover the town. Regardless of the season, the town was covered by heavy snow all year round. And with the arrival of the Kent family's child, the small town gradually lost its original vitality.

In 1998, a ten-year-old Baron Kent walked through the ancient town. Heavy snow covered everything, and the young baron had never left the town in his ten years of life.

The little baron's eyes were filled with an unmistakable loneliness and desolation. Seeing his figure, the townspeople closed their doors one after another. No matter how well-behaved the little baron was, everyone regarded him as a demon.

His mother died when he was one year old. His father, Baron Kent, never remarried, but when little Kent was eight, a house fire killed his father. The center of the fire was the young Kent, but strangely, the boy was unharmed.

Everyone rejected him but dared not approach him. They called him the "demon star," the devil, the embodiment of death. Rumors said he killed his own mother and burned his father to death after his father called him a demon. In the ten years since his birth, a small town with nearly a thousand people now had fewer than a hundred left. All who had died seemed to have some connection to the boy.

"God save us!" a person whispered.

Under the heavy snow, the boy stood at the edge of the town, staring at it silently. In his hand was a painting he had just completed.

His golden hair had now completely turned black. An extremely terrifying aura was released from his body, and the small town became even colder.

"I! Pluto Hades! I'm back!!!"

After ten years, little Aaron finally woke up. He looked at the painting in his hand and laughed. He was not Aaron, the young son of the Kent family, but Hades, the King of the Underworld. The God of Death who controlled the entire universe, the Lord of the Underworld!

That girl Athena hadn't played fair. In a Holy War more than two hundred years after their agreement, she had rushed into his Pure Land with a bunch of glittering Gold Saints. He could have staged a last-ditch counterattack, but on that day, the Sagittarius Saint Seiya attacked him just as they had in ancient times. And the girl Athena stabbed his body with her scepter at that very moment, leading to the collapse of the entire Pure Land of Elysium. Who could have known that the fragments would break the barrier between universes and pull his broken body into this world?

"So this is the kind of world it is!"

Hades, the King of the Underworld, was known for being all-knowing and all-powerful. Few things in the entire universe could escape his notice. But this was not his world. Since he was an outsider, he had to be careful.

"Forget it. The Olympian gods are gone in this world. What a pathetic 'Holy War' that was!" he scoffed.

As he spoke, Aaron tossed the painting in his hand behind him. Without even looking at the small town, he turned and walked in the opposite direction, away from the heavy snow.

The painting slowly fell to the ground. In it, a chubby little angel acted as an envoy, guiding the entire town to the Paradise of Elysium. An English town that had existed for a hundred years was gradually being swallowed by the snow.

"Until we meet again..."
