Chapter 206 - Chapter 205: Seems to Have a Brain

Jason—now fully clad in his new mask—radiated an aura of pure oppression and death.Standing there like a monstrous giant, his presence alone seemed enough to suffocate anyone who met his gaze. That cold, indifferent stare behind the mask sent an involuntary chill down the spine.

Thor and Loki, sensing that dreadful energy, instantly tensed up. Their instincts screamed caution.

They had good reason.

In recent years, the two Asgardian princes had made a bad habit of venturing into Helheim, repeatedly challenging their elder sister Hela.

Each visit ended the same way—humiliation and agony.

Their noble Asgardian dignity had been traded for bruises, cracked bones, and a week of limping home with the smell of death still clinging to them.

Embarrassing? Yes.Effective? Also yes.

Their strength had improved dramatically with every beating. That was the twisted irony of it all.

But Hela, being Hela, eventually tired of their antics and began experimenting with her methods of "training."She found endless ways to torture them—ensuring they never died but always wished they had.

Every time they came, the two brothers could only brace themselves and mutter, "What kind of surprise will it be this time?"

Loki, known across realms as the God of Mischief, had come to realize that compared to his sister, he was merely an amateur prankster. She was the real devil.

And now, this stranger—Jason, a man neither of them had ever seen before—stood before them, emanating killing intent.

Experience had taught them both one thing: never underestimate anyone connected to Hela.

So, they stood ready.

Jason didn't care what they were thinking. He had been given a simple order—Crush the enemies of Hela.

That was enough for him.

He lived for moments like this.He loved the sensation of hitting, breaking, and tearing.

Without warning, he stomped forward—

BOOM!

The ground split and quaked, air exploding outward as Jason launched himself forward like a cannonball. His massive frame blurred into motion, every muscle radiating destructive power.

He went straight for Loki's head.

The impact was instantaneous—

Or so it would have been.

Loki blinked, raising an eyebrow. This guy... attacks without even talking?

Jason's enormous frame came barreling toward him—only for the ground beneath him to turn to mud.

The demon stumbled, losing his balance mid-charge.

Before Jason could recover, Thor, who had fought enough battles to know an opening when he saw one, swung his hammer-sized fist and smashed it into Jason's face.

BOOM!!

Jason's head snapped sideways. His body was hurled backward like a meteor.

Before he could crash into the black walls of Hela's fortress, a surge of divine power filled the air—warping space itself. The stars seemed to shift. The world twisted.

In an instant, the battlefield had changed.

The three of them—Thor, Loki, and Jason—found themselves hundreds of thousands of kilometers away.

The castle that had been right behind them was now a distant shadow amid a warped, distorted jungle.

Both brothers sighed heavily. They could practically feel their sister's irritation even from this distance.

"...She kicked us out again," Loki muttered.

Thor clenched his jaw. "Every time."

Loki shrugged helplessly. "Guess she's tired of us breaking her furniture."

The two brothers exchanged glances—then turned toward Jason, who was slowly getting back up.

If Hela had dumped them here, there was only one way to vent their frustration.

Thor cracked his neck with a grim smile."Brother, it seems the day's not wasted after all."

Loki summoned his weapon—a sleek, rune-inscribed scepter, forged over the past two years. It wasn't just a conduit for magic but also a weapon fit for close combat.

Jason tilted his head, confused. Something in his mind was… stirring.

New movements. New battle instincts.

For the first time, it felt like his empty head was filled with technique.

He scratched the side of his helmet, bewildered. "...Feels like I've got a brain?"

Not that it mattered.Whether he understood or not, the violent knowledge pouring into his mind made one thing clear—

It was time to fight.

BOOM!!

Jason's demon heart thundered like a drum. His entire body ignited with a fiery Yang energy, his aura exploding into the sky.

Thor and Loki immediately tightened their stances.

Loki narrowed his eyes. "Is he really that dumb—or pretending to be?"

Curious, Loki raised his hand. The earth rippled beneath Jason's feet, turning into a viscous swamp.

Jason didn't even hesitate.

He charged straight through it.

Loki smirked—then froze.

Jason's eyes glowed crimson. In the blink of an eye, his speed spiked to an impossible level. The swamp ruptured beneath him as his momentum tore through the air.

The tendrils and dark arms that reached from the swamp were shredded instantly.

In a blur, Jason appeared before Loki.

Layers upon layers of magic barriers flared around Loki, each one etched with complex runes.

Jason's gloved hand erupted with green ghostly flames, and with a single swipe, he grabbed Loki by the throat.

Every barrier shattered like glass.

Loki's eyes widened in disbelief as he was lifted off the ground.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The next moment, Jason dragged him—literally dragged him—across the battlefield like a rag doll.

The earth split apart beneath their path. Rocks shattered. Entire trees were flattened into dust.

A kilometer-long trench carved through the jungle as Loki's body tore through the terrain.

Thor's eyes widened. "Brother—!"

With a roar, he leaped into the air, his entire form turning into a crimson streak of lightning.

BOOM!!

Jason slammed Loki's body into a massive boulder, cracking it into pieces. A geyser of gray energy erupted skyward, skull-like faces forming in the mist, shrieking in torment.

The shockwave blasted Thor head-on, sending him tumbling through the air.

He spun violently before righting himself, chest heaving, eyes burning with fury.

Jason, meanwhile, stood before the crater, gripping Loki's neck.

The trickster's face was pale, eyes wide. His body trembled as if his life was draining away.

Loki could feel it—the death energy invading him. His blood grew sluggish, his divine power hollowed out.

The blood inside him turned black, lifeless, dead.

His skin dried and cracked. Black veins crawled up his neck, his arms, his face.

He could barely croak out a sound.

"Hhh... huh...!"

Jason smiled beneath his mask—a cruel, twisted grin.

He loved this part. Watching pretty faces rot.

But not everyone shared his enthusiasm.

High above, Thor had seen enough.

"LOKI!!"

His roar split the air, thunder gathering around him in a storm of red and gold. The power of the Eighth Sense surged through his veins.

The heavens shook.

Jason turned his head, sensing the coming danger. The world was bathed in light.

Thor descended like divine judgment, his fist wrapped in thunder.

Jason raised a hand, summoning a dark-green, rune-lined shield of energy before him.

BOOM!!

The explosion was deafening. Lightning consumed the battlefield, carving deep craters into the ground.

Jason's barrier held for half a second—then shattered.

Thor twisted midair, his foot slamming into Jason's neck. The impact sent the demon crashing through rocks and trees like a meteor, explosions chasing his path.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The dust settled.

Thor landed beside Loki, who was barely breathing.

Kneeling, he pressed a hand to his brother's chest—and his heart clenched."Your body's dying," he muttered. "This… this is death qi. Hela's power."

Thor's jaw tightened. "That bastard has her death energy."

Cursing under his breath, he analyzed the situation. Loki's divine form was collapsing, but his soul still clung to the body—feeding life force back to it to resist complete decay.

Then Loki rasped a single word."...Blood…"

Thor froze, then understood instantly.

Without hesitation, he raised his fist and punched straight through Loki's chest.

Loki's eyes bulged, but he didn't resist.

Thor withdrew his arm, pulling out a surge of black, corrupted blood that splattered across the ground.

Instantly, Loki's complexion began to recover. The gray veins faded, the death qi pouring out with the black blood.

Thor sighed in relief—then turned toward the approaching rumble.

Jason's silhouette loomed through the smoke, drawing nearer.

"I'm angry now," Thor said quietly. His eyes flared with lightning.

With a roar, he transformed into a bolt of thunder and shot forward.

The world trembled as the two collided.

BOOM!!

The earth split open beneath their clash.

Behind them, Loki pressed a trembling hand to his chest. Black blood gushed from the wound, evaporating into smoke as the last traces of death qi left his body.

New, vibrant blood rushed through his veins. His color returned, his strength began to recover.

He exhaled deeply, a smirk tugging at his lips. "Still alive…"

He looked up at the sky, where lightning and shadow intertwined in a cataclysmic dance.

"Brother," he muttered, voice weak but resolute, "try not to get yourself killed."
