Dear Readers,
I wanted to share a brief update regarding this story. As much as I've enjoyed writing this fanfic, I've recently experienced a significant increase in my workload. particularly on the career front, and it require my full focus and dedication for the time being.
Rather than rushing through chapters or compromising on the quality in the name of consistency, I have decided to place this fanfic on a temporary hiatus. and I would rather pause briefly than let the story suffer or become something less than I aspire it to be. i've also planned to include a couple of chapters depicting aurion's growth within the 1st and second chapter instead of the massive 19 year old time skip skipping over his upbringing and childhood entirely. a lot of potential were missed due to that. I plan to rectify that by writing new chapters happened in that time interval and joining it with the updated version of the existing chapters. all these would take some time. so, hence the hiatus.
That being said, I'd like to make the best use of this time. I have a Discord server where I plan to share updates and drafts related to my fanfiction. I am currently looking for a few beta readers who are willing to join the server, read new chapters as soon as they're written (even during the hiatus), and help me out with editing, suggestions, and overall feedback. If you're interested in being a beta for my works, please let me know in the comments below, and I'll make sure to add you to the server!
I appreciate your understanding and continued support. I fully intend to resume releasing updates and new chapters as per the foresaid update schedule(first and third weekend of each month) once I am able to devote the necessary attention and energy to maintain its standard.
