Chapter 376: Future Layout

Just as Tolle was reviewing ZAFT's MS data, Nami reminded him, "Master, among the names of personnel who recently arrived at P.L.A.N.T, Shinn Asuka has been identified. He has already been assigned to ZAFT's military academy."

"Oh? ZAFT really moves fast. They put him into military school the moment he arrived—looks like they're seriously short on manpower. Heh, but there's no way they could imagine that he's already a spy sent by Orb.

"By the way, have Meyrin Hawke and Lunamaria Hawke also entered the academy? Do you have their photos? Send them over for a look."

"Understood, Master. Nami will take care of it immediately."

Not long after, Nami transmitted live footage from nearby surveillance cameras. Shinn, Meyrin, Lunamaria—and even Rey Za Burrel—were all among them.

"Oh, they're all so young and green. A whole group of budding youths." Tolle sighed as he looked at the female soldiers in formation. After staring rather lewdly for a few… dozen seconds, he straightened up and seriously asked Nami again, "How's Lacus doing? Is she in danger?"

"Reporting, Master. Siegel has already been killed by Patrick's assassination unit. Lacus is currently on the run. Nami will transmit her specific location to the display. Please review it."

While looking over the information, Tolle sighed. "Looks like the so-called peace-oriented Clyne faction isn't anything good either. They completely abandoned Siegel—he was keeping such a low profile, yet his hiding place was discovered so easily.

"On the other hand, Lacus, who's been extremely active—broadcasting peace speeches nonstop—has somehow never been caught, and keeps relocating safe houses. The difference is huge.

"No wonder Lacus absolutely refused to return to P.L.A.N.T during the two years after the ceasefire. She probably saw through the shady business inside.

"It seems Gilbert Durandal has already begun laying the groundwork for becoming chairman a few months from now. What a sly old fox."

Tolle tapped on the display, thought for a moment, then said with a malicious grin to Nami, "Nami, help me plant some neo DG cells into this future Chairman Durandal as well. Make sure the thing below his waist never stands up again for the rest of his life."

"Understood, Master. Nami guarantees mission completion."

"Right—how are my four warships doing? Where are they positioned now?"

"Master, two Nazca-class warships and two Laurasia-class warships are currently near the Jachin Due Fortress. All four vessels are completely intact."

"Good. What about Meer Campbell's whereabouts? Can you locate her now? Let's go set things up with her first."

A few seconds later, Nami replied, "Target located. She is currently at home listening to Lacus's research broadcast. Shall I immediately plot a course to her residence?"

"Yes. Navigate to Meer's home immediately.

"Since we've checked almost everything, it's time to enter the satellite.

"Have all the neo DG cells go dormant and lie low. Wake them only when needed later."

"Understood, Master. Nami will issue the dormancy command now."

After that, wearing his nano-armor and entering optical camouflage stealth mode, Tolle infiltrated the interior of the P.L.A.N.T satellite with Nami's assistance, without triggering any alarms.

Before long, he arrived at Meer's residence. He then formed a universal key and quietly approached the door.

"…On today's battlefield, once again, people we love have died. How long must we continue struggling in pain…?"

Watching Meer, completely absorbed as she listened to Lacus's broadcast, Tolle noted that her face was actually quite pretty, and her figure was tall and slender.

Worthy of a Coordinator—almost all of them were beauties.

However, Tolle had no intention of showing mercy. After disengaging the nano-armor, he immediately had the neo DG cells attach themselves to her body and directly carried out the brainwashing process.

Not long afterward, Meer knelt on one knee before Tolle and said, "Master, Meer Campbell is here to await your orders."

Tolle glanced at the scenery exposed at the neckline of her night robe, coughed lightly, then helped her up. "Ahem… Meer, you can get up first. There's no need for that."

With Tolle's support, Meer immediately sprang up energetically and hugged him with enthusiasm. "Understood, Master. Everything about Meer belongs to you—please enjoy as you wish."

Tolle was startled by her sudden passion. The contrast was way too extreme—she had been so serious just moments ago, and now she was burning with enthusiasm.

He subconsciously took a step back and said, "Meer, for now, just maintain the status quo and continue living as you normally would.

"In the future, whenever you have the chance, upload videos online of yourself imitating Lacus's songs. Of course, the more realistic the imitation, the better.

"If one day ZAFT invites you to impersonate Lacus, act as if you know nothing and cooperate with them."

"I'll become Miss Lacus's substitute in the future? That's amazing!" Meer said excitedly. "Master, I will definitely complete this mission."

Tolle nodded in satisfaction. "Good. But do you want to preserve your current state? If you do, you'll be able to restore it in the future if you want."

Without the slightest hesitation, Meer removed her clothing and stood shyly before Tolle. "Master… I'm ready. Please begin."

Tolle covered his face. Looks like Nami had filled her head with more improper ideas again. But he really wasn't in the mood right now—this was a race against time to set up the future. There was no time to waste on this sort of thing.

Still, gritting his teeth, he conducted a scan and examination of Meer's body. After finishing, he gave her a few instructions, then quietly left Meer's home without a trace.
