Chapter 231: CGS (Part 3)

When Orga heard that Masahiro had been rescued by Tolle—and that he'd grown so healthy and strong—he couldn't help but say with genuine envy, "I really envy Masahiro. He's got good luck… and Akihiro too. It's a blessing to be reunited with your family."

Tolle smiled. "There's no need to envy anyone. How about this—what if I just buy out CGS? I was originally planning to invest a little, but after seeing the Akihiro brothers reunited, I might as well purchase the whole company."

Orga froze, his eyes widening in shock. "Wait—did I hear that right? You're not serious, are you? You mean to buy CGS? The whole thing?"

Tolle's expression remained calm and friendly. "I'm completely serious. Since Akihiro's brother is also a Buy-Jue, this is the only way to truly help him. That way, all of you Buy-Jue could gain your freedom too. Or maybe you can give me a suggestion—should I invest, or should I buy the company outright?"

Orga stood there motionless, his mind blank for a moment. Then, after a pause, he slowly shook his head. "You should just invest. Buying the whole of CGS would be too costly—and it wouldn't feel right. We couldn't repay that kind of debt."

"If I did buy it," Tolle replied lightly, "you could all just work for me to pay it off. But you're right—investing is probably more efficient. Care to walk me through your reasoning?"

"Uh… you're actually serious about this?" Orga asked incredulously. "If it's just for Akihiro's sake, you could simply buy out his Buy-Jue contract. There's no need to go through all that trouble."

Seeing that Orga was still cautious, Tolle casually shifted the topic. "Actually, I've long wanted to expand business operations on Mars—to establish a solid foothold here. After all, in this age where humans drift among the stars, we're all just rootless wanderers.

So whether I buy or invest, CGS would be a good starting point. It'd give me a stable base, help improve your team's living conditions, reunite Akihiro and Masahiro, and even make it easier to purchase crops from Grandma Sakura's farm. Three benefits in one move—don't you think that's ideal?"

Orga's lips twitched slightly, though his tone held admiration. "Then… I'd still say invest. That way, the costs are lower. You just need to talk to Boss Maruba and ask him to make life a little better for Akihiro and our Third Squad."

Tolle chuckled softly. "Oh? Sounds like you don't want to owe me too much. Do you have ambitions of your own, perhaps? Or maybe a vision for your future?"

Caught off guard, Orga began sweating nervously. "You're joking, sir. We're just lowly Buy-Jue—how could we have ambitions? We only wish for a better life, that's all."

"All right, all right," Tolle said with a grin. "Let's not make this sound too serious. Still, we should be grateful to Grandma Sakura. Without her farm, none of this—your meeting, Akihiro and Masahiro's reunion—would have happened."

Orga nodded. "You're right. It's all thanks to Grandma Sakura."

At that moment, Akihiro and Masahiro approached. Akihiro bowed deeply. "Thank you so much, Chairman Tolle. Masahiro told me everything. If it weren't for you, he wouldn't be here today, and we'd never have been reunited."

Masahiro bowed as well. "Thank you, Boss. Because of you, I've been able to see my brother again. I'll spend the rest of my life defending everything you stand for."

Tolle waved his hand dismissively. "All right, all right, no need to be so stiff. You're making me feel embarrassed. This reunion is your own fate. I just played a small part in it."

Seeing that the two brothers were still bowing, Tolle sighed helplessly. "Come on, stand up already. There's something I'd like to discuss. I've decided to invest in CGS, and I want Masahiro to act as my liaison from now on—handling communications and coordinating vegetable purchases from Grandma Sakura's farm. I'll also talk to Maruba, make sure he looks after your brother and his friends. Don't worry."

Both brothers said together, "Thank you, Boss!"

Tolle could only smile wryly. "You two must have a lot to catch up on. Masahiro, I'm giving you a few days off—spend some time with your brother."

Again, in perfect unison, they said, "Thank you, Boss!"

Tolle could only laugh helplessly. There was no arguing with that kind of sincerity.

So he gathered Lynn Minmay, Ange, and the others, bringing Cookie and Cracker along to tour the Chryse Autonomous Region, leaving the brothers to talk in peace.

Masahiro's role in his plan had served its purpose—now it was time for Tolle to move on to the next step.

That evening, back at the same hotel as before, Lynn Minmay leaned contentedly against Tolle and smiled. "Brother Monty, Akihiro and Masahiro's story was such a coincidence, wasn't it? Fate really is mysterious—just like us. Even though we came from different worlds, nothing could stop us from meeting."

Ange, lounging nearby, smiled too. "Yeah, it really is amazing. We're the same."

Zola stayed quiet, knowing part of the truth—that Tolle had used her identity to approach Ange earlier. But that no longer mattered to her. She was living the life she'd wanted—free from fear and uncertainty.

Then Lynn Minmay suddenly asked, a hint of doubt in her tone, "Brother Monty… there's something I've been wondering. So many coincidences piling up—are they really coincidences? Or is something—or someone—controlling everything? Including your constant world-hopping?"

Tolle fell silent for a moment, thinking privately: Most of those 'coincidences' were my doing. I can't exactly tell them I staged it all just to court them, can I?

He stroked Lynn Minmay's silky hair gently and said, "Minmay, these coincidences aren't something we can control. But at least they've never brought us harm. In fact, they've brought us together. So don't dwell on it too much. Let's just live in the moment and cherish every moment we share. Leave the rest to fate."

Ange suddenly bit him—hard. With a serious look she said, "I still feel like you're brushing us off. But I have no proof."

Lynn Minmay joined in teasingly. "Me too! I feel like you're brushing us off—but I have no proof either."

Zola smirked and added, "I especially feel like you're brushing us off—but I also have no proof."

"—But we don't mind!" ×3

Then, just like before, each of them picked a spot and bit him viciously again, leaving Tolle wincing in pain but unable to suppress a laugh.
