Chapter 208: Accelerate Again
During the battle, Heero received a notification from the Zero System and entrusted Dr. Howard with dismantling the Zero System from the Wing Zero Gundam to install it onto the Sandrock Gundam Custom.
At the same time, White Fang was developing a new unmanned combat system by uploading Heero's and Trowa's combat data into the mobile dolls Virgo II and Mercurius.
To facilitate this, Dorothy was placed in full command of the current mobile doll control system.

But just then, Treize arrived on the scene piloting the Wing Zero Gundam Snow White Prelude. Spreading its angelic wings, it generated an immense electromagnetic shield that blocked the entire barrage, protecting the heavily damaged Gundams and the Peacemillion as they retreated from the battlefield.
After retreating, the team began repairing the damaged Gundams and the Peacemillion. Once he had regained his composure, Quatre dismantled the Zero System from the Sandrock Gundam Custom.
Meanwhile, all nations on Earth, fearing an attack from Libra's main cannon and seeking to eliminate White Fang, gathered their combined forces at the Barge fortress.
Aboard Libra, Dorothy informed Relena about the impending large-scale war and explained that Milliardo's actions had been orchestrated to bring about this very scenario—destroying all mobile weapons in one stroke, just as he and Treize had envisioned.
Heero, piloting the Wing Zero, encountered the unmanned Virgo II and Mercurius, which contained the combat data of himself and Trowa. After an intense battle, he used the Twin Buster Rifle to destroy them both.
He then infiltrated the Libra battleship, where he found Relena and together they watched a recorded message from Milliardo.
Milliardo's message declared that humanity was foolish—people never understood the cruelty and pain of war until they personally suffered from it. He cited Heero Yuy, the former leader of the space colonies, and the Kingdom of Sanc as prime examples.
Though Heero only vaguely grasped Milliardo's meaning, he held to his own beliefs. Their paths diverged, so he took Relena and left.
Meanwhile, all the nations of Earth concentrated their forces—over a thousand Space Leo suits and several hundred Virgo II units—to face White Fang in a final decisive battle.
Treize himself led the operation, piloting the Tallgeese II at the forefront of the cosmic battlefield.
At his command, the Earth forces launched a full-scale assault on Libra. However, Barge Fortress was obliterated first by Libra's main cannon, along with many Space Leos.
This time, Zechs did not fight as an OZ soldier, but appeared on the battlefield as a Gundam pilot, piloting the Wing Zero Gundam Snow White Prelude, joining the other five Gundam pilots in battle.
As soon as he entered combat, the Snow White Prelude dove into White Fang's mobile doll swarm, executing several spinning attacks that annihilated scores of enemy units.
The conflict escalated fiercely, inflicting enormous casualties on both sides.
To counter the Gundam team's assault, Milliardo personally deployed in the Epyon Gundam, commanding six Virgo drones in battle. His expert control allowed the Virgo units to hold off the Gundam team, but he himself was engaged and pinned down by Treize.
During this time, Noin piloted the Peacemillion and rammed it into Libra's main cannon, successfully disabling it.
Deprived of Libra's main weapon, Milliardo became even more unhinged and resolved to drop the entire battleship onto Earth.
To alter Libra's trajectory, Duo, Quatre, and Trowa infiltrated different sections of the ship to sabotage its systems.
Wufei remained outside to continue fighting the mobile dolls. However, because he had joined OZ, he no longer sought confrontation with Treize—and as a result, his own apparent "death" turned out to be false once again.

Meanwhile, Quatre encountered Dorothy in the mobile doll control chamber. The two fought fiercely as Dorothy denounced the foolishness of war and of humankind itself—having lost her family to war, she despised the world from her heart.
She told Quatre that everything he and his comrades did was meaningless and that they would ultimately be betrayed by those they trusted.
Yet, when White Fang's defeat was officially declared, Dorothy finally abandoned her resistance and allowed Quatre to destroy the mobile doll control system. Instantly, all unmanned units across the battlefield ceased to function.
Elsewhere, the five scientists reignited the Peacemillion's engines, pushing Libra off course and preventing it from crashing into Earth.
Finally, Heero and Milliardo continued their duel in space as Relena broadcasted their battle live to the entire world.
Seeing this, both the space colonies and the nations of Earth united and together issued a declaration of peace.
The fierce battle between the Epyon Gundam and the Wing Zero Gundam reached its climax.
However, part of Libra's wreckage still fell toward Earth.
The Gundam pilots destroyed what they could, reducing the debris as much as possible.
Having exhausted all weapons, Heero decided to self-destruct the Wing Zero to destroy Libra's remaining engines and divert its course.
But at the last moment, Milliardo came to his senses. Taking Heero's place, he used the Epyon Gundam's massive beam saber to destroy the reactor, vanishing amid the explosion.
