Chapter 150: Joint Battle 1

Tolle saw that the time was about right, so he led Ange and the others charging straight toward the Corsica Mobile Suit Factory.

Coco and Miranda turned on their comms and loudly shouted in an over-the-top manner:

"We are a ray of light in the darkness, a private organization that brings peace and hope to the world: Sword of Damocles!

Cruel and ruthless rulers, you will face our judgment and punishment—accept the wrath of heaven!"

Tolle listened and thought it actually sounded pretty good, especially coming out of the sweet voices of little girls. Since he didn't have to shout it himself, whether it was cheesy or not had nothing to do with him.

Still, after padding out so many words, the slogan really wasn't bad! From now on, he could let Coco and Miranda shout it often.

Tolle, piloting the MA-form Vanguard Savior Gundam, unleashed a full barrage at the Aries units in the sky, firing the beam cannon, high-energy beam rifle, and backpack-mounted cannons.

In one strike, seven Aries were shot down, three of them lined up in a row and pierced through by the beam cannon.

Ange, Zola, Coco, and Miranda also piloted their various flying-type Phantom Kai units, launching attacks against the Aries and fighter jets swarming in the air.

Trowa glanced up at the sudden appearance of one large and four smaller MAs all helping him wipe out OZ mobile suits. He ignored the enemies in the sky and focused on the ground battle instead.

Piloting the Heavyarms Gundam, he charged forward at the Leos, Tragos, and tanks on the ground.

As soon as he closed in on an OZ MS, Heavyarms swung down its blade in one decisive strike, cutting them in half. Then, for nearby tanks, he used the head vulcans; if it was another MS nearby, he followed up with the shoulder gatlings.

But after all, Heavyarms was a heavy-firepower type, so its mobility was far inferior. Once its ammo was depleted, its attack speed dropped drastically.

From the sky, Tolle looked at the struggling Heavyarms and shook his head. Adding icing on the cake wasn't as good as sending charcoal in the snow.

He flew the Vanguard Savior Gundam down beside it and tossed over the beam rifle from its wing hardpoints.

"Pilot of the Heavyarms, this beam rifle uses a universal interface—your Gundam can use it too.

It can slowly recharge energy directly through the hand connector. As long as your Gundam has power, it can keep firing.

It should make up for Heavyarms' weakness of running out of ammo too easily. I'm giving this to you—take good care of it."

After saying that, Tolle piloted the Vanguard Savior Gundam back up into the aerial battlefield.

Trowa picked up the beam rifle with Heavyarms and, glancing at the departing Tolle, murmured a quiet, "Thanks."

He raised the beam rifle and fired a few shots, finding it worked quite well. He quickly stopped worrying about conserving ammo.

Now, with a beam rifle in one hand and a gatling gun in the other, he launched fierce attacks against the surrounding OZ MS.

Before long, though, the left-hand gatling gun on Heavyarms ran out of ammo as well, leaving the beam rifle as its only weapon.

If not for Tolle's gift, Trowa would've been forced into hand-to-hand combat.

Up in the skies, Coco and Miranda weaved in and out while chasing OZ fighters, firing their laser vulcans nonstop.

The fighters scattered everywhere in panic. Their cannons and missiles had no effect on the Phantom Kai Custom units, which seemed to have armor on par with a Gundam's. They had no choice but to flee.

Ange and Zola focused on targeting the Aries aerial-type MS. With the Phantom Kai Custom's exceptional maneuverability in flight mode, plus the reactive wing system that drastically reduced inertia and centrifugal force, and with their specialized pilot suits, they felt no discomfort at all.

Even sudden accelerations, abrupt halts, spins, or rolls placed no burden on their bodies.

If not for Tolle's warning to hide their true strength and avoid transforming into Extermination Mode, those dozens of Aries in the sky wouldn't last five minutes against the two of them.

Even so, the two grew more excited as they fought, riddling each Aries they struck with holes from the laser vulcans.

Watching Ange and the others toying with the OZ forces in the sky, Tolle sighed. It seemed keeping them cooped up earlier really had been suffocating them.

Still, it was fortunate the OZ forces had shown up to give them something to vent on. Otherwise, the unlucky one would've been him.

Tolle piloted the Vanguard Savior Gundam into a low-altitude flight, sweeping attacks across the hundred-plus Leos on the ground.

Not long after, Quatre arrived in the Desert Gundam with forty Maganacs, each armed with different weapons, joining the fray.

They launched fierce assaults on the OZ ground forces. Coordinating with the Desert Gundam, the Maganacs fired machine guns, rifles, beam cannons, missiles, and more in a desperate barrage.

The OZ MS on the ground were soon annihilated, leaving Tolle and his team unable to continue playing with the enemies in the sky.

Tolle increased firepower with the Vanguard Savior Gundam, weaving through the air with full-barrage attacks.

To keep his strength hidden, he worked together with Ange and the others, spending another five minutes or so to wipe out the remaining Aries and fighters.

But just as the OZ forces were completely destroyed, Trowa and Quatre ended up facing off below. Heavyarms raised the beam rifle and aimed it at the Desert Gundam.

Tolle slapped his own face. He had completely forgotten—these two were supposed to fight when they first met. Now that Heavyarms had a beam rifle, it had an overwhelming advantage.

To prevent any mishap with Quatre, Tolle floated the Vanguard Savior Gundam above them and opened comms, loudly saying:

"Don't fight, you two. We're all Gundams sent by the space colonies to carry out Operation Meteor—there's no need to kill each other.

Heavyarms pilot, I didn't give you that beam rifle so you could point it at an ally."

Tolle immediately cut off Heavyarms' beam rifle permissions. Trowa tried firing several times but found it no longer worked.

Without a word, he tossed the rifle aside, only to draw his right-hand blade and aim it at the Desert Gundam. Clearly, the fight was inevitable—Tolle couldn't stop it.

Just then, an OZ fighter suddenly burst out from beside the Corsica Mobile Suit Factory and sped straight into the sky.
