Chapter 126: Welfare Realm
Tolle immediately pulled out the design blueprint, handed it to Nami for data backup, and said to her:
"Nami, can you modify the Master Gundam from the storage space based on this design? You'll need to combine the strengths of both.
The main body will be the Astray Noir Gundam, the arms from the Master Gundam; the backpack should look like the Master's but with the Astray Noir's backpack weapons added inside; as for the power system, go with the ultra-high-grade deuterium core plus the anti-neutron jammer.
Use all the existing functions and assembly materials we have—make sure it's perfect."
"As you command, Master. Nami will get started right away—time to build Gundam."
Well, would you look at that, Nami had caught his bug too—now she wanted to build Gundam herself. My path is not a lonely one after all.

While Nami was busy modifying the Astray Noir in the storage space, Tolle pulled out his multi-purpose sports car. Driving around, he looked to see if there was any useful intel.
Before long, he spotted a typical symbol of Japan—the mighty Mount Fuji. So this was also another Japanese anime world.
But then again, there were plenty of apocalyptic anime like this. He couldn't quite figure out which one it was yet.
Anyway, to trigger the plot he'd have to wait around in places like this. No point wandering aimlessly.
Tolle pulled out the luxury space-cruiser RV he'd modified for Lynn Minmay, then eagerly summoned Izu, Yua, and Juster. Time for a three vs 1 match.
Three narrow paths at first, walking tens of steps, then suddenly it opened wide into a spacious place, followed by endless winding streams.
…
Tolle didn't get out of bed for several days, being cared for by Izu, Yua, and Juster the whole time.
Only when he'd had enough fun and his waist couldn't take it anymore did he send them back into storage space, then continued with his search.
But he hadn't gone far when a small red four-legged robot appeared before him, emitting a synthetic electronic voice:
"The Capital's Third Shelter is still operational, continuing to take in all refugees. Survivors, please proceed to Central Park."
Tolle immediately felt a rush of familiarity. That operating pattern—he knew it, but just couldn't recall where from.
Following the little robot, he arrived at the entrance of a round building.
A light shone down at the doorway, scanning Tolle before a voice announced:
"Confirmed living organism detected. Begin intake. Welcome to the Capital's Third Shelter. The Capital Defense Bureau welcomes you.
Welcome to the Capital's Third Shelter. The Capital Defense Bureau welcomes you."
Then, the wide doors of the shelter slowly opened, revealing a deep passage inside.
At last, it clicked—Cross Ange: Rondo of Angels and Dragons!
At the same time, the system's voice echoed in his mind:
"Host, world traversal confirmed. World: Cross Ange: Rondo of Angels and Dragons. Authority upgraded.
Traversal days increased by 30. Next traversal in 240 days.
Authority rank raised to Sergeant. Storage space expansion rounded up—now maximum dimensions length, width, and height each 500 meters. Partitioned spaces expanded proportionally."
"Holy crap, the system can do that? Just identifying the world bumps me up a rank? Nesting rewards? That's awesome. Though… the storage space upgrade is kinda small."
"This authority upgrade is a special reward. To simplify calculations for storage use, special handling has been applied."
Tolle spread his hands helplessly. "Fine, you win. You call the shots."
After confirming with the system, Tolle continued deeper into the shelter. Now he needed to check the current timeline—where exactly was the heroine Ange (Angelise Ikaruga Misurugi)?
Had she already been violated? Had she become the pilot of Villkiss? Most importantly, had the male lead Tusk gotten to her first?
But this world also had a twisted boss who endlessly created and destroyed parallel worlds—Embryo.
He'd have to be careful. With powers over time and space, Embryo wasn't someone he could handle yet. Best to study Villkiss's Dimensional Resonance System—or even the Dragon's ship, the Zero-Type Dragon Machine—and crack its tech first.
That way, he'd at least have a lifeline, and maybe a chance to kill that sick boss Embryo, rescue all the "Norma," and bring them home.
Just imagining it made him drool—with all those people, he could build a powerful force. One call from him and countless MS would charge out to swarm the enemy. Just the thought got his blood pumping.
As he walked, Tolle soon reached the shelter's central area. A massive screen flickered to life, showing a woman's image. She spoke:
"I am the management computer, Hinata.
At present, this shelter still has 1.7% of its space remaining. Please select your preferred area. Wishing you a pleasant stay."
Tolle turned to Nami.
"Nami, copy all this shelter's technology, and that projection holographic recording system too.
Also, check for any data on Villkiss. If it's there, great. If not, no problem—I'll find another way.
And don't damage this shelter. Try to bring it under control. I'll still need it next time I come back."
"As you command, Master. Task guaranteed. Nami initiating hacker infiltration mode. Master, please open storage space."
Tolle opened the storage space, releasing a swarm of nano-bugs made of neo DG cells.
Nami directed them: "Alright, little ones, get to work! Time to take the client!" Instantly, the nano-bugs began invading the shelter.
Tolle figured since he was waiting anyway, he might as well confirm the time and the world. So he asked the management computer:
"What time is it now? What happened here? Why has it become like this?"
