Zhu Ziyang's forehead touched the third eye of the Three-Eyed Golden Lion, and in that instant, man and beast locked eyes—both their bodies trembled violently.
A strange ripple expanded from the point where they touched, and a distorted halo of light immediately enveloped the two of them. Their respective auras began to intertwine and merge. Silver radiance emanated from Zhu Ziyang, and golden brilliance from the auspicious beast. Two distinct yet inherently similar lights danced like stars, flashing and exchanging information. Each exchange made their bodies quiver.
At that moment, Zhu Ziyang's right eye had turned completely silver. A mysterious silver glow poured uncontrollably from it into the right eye of the auspicious beast, while a noble golden brilliance flowed from her left eye into his left eye, causing it to involuntarily dilate. The silver and gold lights converged like yin and yang, fusing into a realm where creation and life intertwined.
Within Zhu Ziyang's spiritual sea, a vast silver force boiled. Dots of silver light sparkled on the surface of the sea, while a new golden star faintly shimmered above, completely different from his ultimate light. The golden specks it cast collided and fused with the silver ones below.
The two beings in the halo seemed to have experienced countless lifetimes, sharing memories and thoughts. Outside the halo, time and space stood still. The two Star Radiance Unicorns nearby remained motionless, and even falling leaves hung frozen in the air—a bizarre yet hauntingly beautiful scene.
Buzz—buzz—
No one knew how long had passed when a surge of golden light burst forth from the halo, blasting Zhu Ziyang's body away. The moment they separated, he immediately regained consciousness, steadied himself midair, and landed back on the back of the Star Radiance Unicorn.
"Go!" he urged without hesitation.
Time resumed its normal flow. The Star Radiance Unicorn, confused but not questioning, turned and galloped away from the Three-Eyed Golden Lion. She was more than happy to flee from such a dangerous presence.
The young unicorn followed closely behind her mother.
The Three-Eyed Golden Lion stared blankly, dazed, and only collapsed to the ground after Zhu Ziyang's group disappeared from sight.
"What are you doing out here? Come, let's go back!" A massive, three-headed canine beast appeared beside her, its tone anxious. "If Di Tian finds out, he'll be furious!"
"Okay," she replied without resistance. Her eyes were distant. The events of the day had been too overwhelming. She needed time to sort through everything.
She felt like she had lost something... and at the same time, gained something. A vague, indescribable feeling lingered in her heart. She needed to make sense of it.

By the time the Three-Eyed Golden Lion was found, Zhu Ziyang had already traveled over two kilometers away. With the speed of a 50,000-year Star Radiance Unicorn, such a distance took mere seconds.
Now seated calmly on the unicorn's back, Zhu Ziyang closed his eyes and began organizing his turbulent memories and his spiritual sea.
He had experienced a similar memory transfer once before, so this time he managed to process the influx quickly. The memories of the Three-Eyed Golden Lion were mundane—mostly forests, with a few glimpses of various Beast Kings.

Inside, Electrolux stood in shock. The space he had occupied for over a year now felt utterly unfamiliar. When he saw Zhu Ziyang enter, he rushed over and asked, "Ziyang, what did you do? Why is your spiritual sea suddenly filled with so much Fate Energy?"
"Fate Energy?" Zhu Ziyang blinked. "Teacher, what's that?"
"Look," Electrolux pointed at the countless silver-and-gold particles floating in the air. "These are Fate Energy."
Zhu Ziyang had already noticed the strange glow. The silver came from the Silver Dragon Wolf, the gold from the Three-Eyed Golden Lion. But he hadn't known what they were until now.
"The so-called Fate Energy is the most mysterious and powerful energy in existence. It stems from the Great Dao of Fate and governs all things. No living being can escape its grasp. The entire point of cultivation is to break free from its shackles. Fate Energy seems useless—it can't be cultivated, can't be increased, and has no apparent benefit—but without it, life itself cannot exist." Electrolux's voice held deep reverence.
"Every living being possesses an equal portion of Fate Energy. That's why it's said that fate is the fairest force of all. However, there are always a few special beings who seem to be favored by fate. These individuals attract the ambient Fate Energy of the world. When enough of it gathers, it transforms into Destiny and begins to actively protect that being. If that being is human, they are called the Child of Destiny."
"Child of Destiny?" Zhu Ziyang murmured.
"Exactly," Electrolux confirmed. "The Child of Destiny walks a path apart from the ordinary. They are burdened with immense Destiny and immense mission. One should never oppose them. That said, I only know of this from ancient records of my own world."
"So... you mean I'm a Child of Destiny?" Zhu Ziyang's expression twisted—he wanted to laugh but couldn't.
"No," Electrolux shook his head. "Your situation is quite different. Though your spiritual sea has a lot of Fate Energy, it's nowhere near enough to be Destiny. Moreover, it's merging with your spirit sea, even your body. That no longer counts as Fate Energy. It's... strange."
"Uh..." Zhu Ziyang scratched his head. He no longer understood what Fate Energy truly was. "Well, at least it's not harmful to me, right?"
"That's true," Electrolux nodded.
"That's enough for now then. I'll figure out the rest later," Zhu Ziyang said nonchalantly.
"Haha, I've been overthinking," Electrolux chuckled in realization.
Letting go of that mystery, Zhu Ziyang began organizing his spiritual space. He found that his spiritual sea had expanded by at least fifty percent. The island in the center remained unchanged, but its edges had become half-gold and half-silver. The soul crystal of the Silver Dragon Wolf still lay on the silver side.
On the translucent dome of his soul, the sun of ultimate light shone even brighter than before. To the right, the silver star remained as it was, but now, on the left, a new golden star had appeared—one that was trying to connect with his left eye. Once it did, perhaps it would grant him a power equal to or greater than his Silver Right Eye.
When he focused on the sun of ultimate light, Zhu Ziyang was delighted to find that his light element affinity had increased from exactly ninety to ninety-five. For someone with an ultimate attribute, every point was a tremendous leap.
He had also gained a new innate ability, while his previous talent, Light's Mind Eye, had evolved into Magnanimous Heart. Now, without even focusing his mind, he could sense whether others harbored good or ill intentions toward him.
As for the new ability, Zhu Ziyang named it Righteous Radiance Heart. When used, it could dissolve any opponent's will to fight and force them into a sage-like state of tranquility and detachment.
