Set in the 15th century, *Modeus* is a powerful demon lord from the shadowy kingdom of *Abaddon Ha’Sheol*, known for his terrifying strength, calm intellect, and hidden sorrow. Despite his status, Modeus is deeply unsatisfied—he seeks not war or dominion, but something more elusive: *amusement*, or rather, purpose beyond the expectations of his bloodline.

Haunted by a fractured family past and the weight of future rule, Modeus leaves his realm in disguise under the name *Kovar*, mingling with humans, collecting souvenirs, and trying to experience life differently. Along the way, he builds strange connections—especially with *Aisha*, his younger sister, who adores him, and *Mira*, an undercover spy unaware of his identity.

But his quest for "amusement" begins spiraling into chaos as emotional ties, betrayal, moral conflict, and the threat of exposure pull him back into the violent legacy he tried to escape. Each encounter with humans and enemies challenges his restraint and tests whether a being like him can truly choose a different path—or if his fate was written in darkness from the start.

*(A vast throne hall of black stone and crimson glow. Shadows dance across tall arches. Lord Modeus El Kovar sits upon his obsidian throne, draped in dark robes, eyes half-lidded in ancient boredom. Flames burn blue beside him.)*


Millennia... and still, the same silence.  


War, treaties, treachery… it's all a loop. A grand, tedious loop.  


Am I not Modeus El Kovar, second to none but one? Must boredom be my only companion?


*(He stands slowly, cloak billowing, and walks toward the edge of the throne steps.)*


Summon the Seers. Tell them to scry the human realm.  


I seek no conquest... I seek amusement. Something... chaotic. Raw. *Unpredictable.*


My Lord… the mortal realm is beneath you. Surely—


*Lord Modeus (cutting in, voice sharp):


And yet it breathes with color. With madness.  


While here... even screams echo the same notes.


*(He raises a finger. A swirling portal of deep violet and obsidian opens midair.)


Abaddon Ha'Sheol can wait. Let them gossip, let them scheme.  


Let's see what mortals do… when shadow walks among them.

The energy spike... it's unlike anything I've ever seen. No fluctuation. Pure... controlled malice.  


We've fought nightmares, Johan... but this? This thing felt us looking—and vanished before we could blink.


*(He looks out the window as the wind shifts unnaturally.)*
