Genshu Hao had spent the entire day in Yanyue Mei's room, forbidden from leaving the place as she didn't want him to leave her sight and be in a place where he would be safe. And he didn't argue with her, allowing her to make him stay in her room as he decided to let her do what she wanted. She made him sleep and rest all the time, and while he did some training to channel his ki, she put a stop to it as she only wanted him to rest right now, especially since he had had his heart taken by Zhun He.
Which was a reasonable response considering what had happened and so he did just that and rested the entire day, and he didn't get a chance to train with his ki as his master was keeping her eyes on him and so he just stayed in the room.
But after the day had ended and the next one began, he had asked for permission to train as he wanted to be sure that his master won't contradict him. Yanyue Mei was a bit reluctant but decided to allow him to train, knowing that he had wanted to get stronger for years, but gave the condition that he can only do so when she is observing him.
A condition that he accepted as he didn't mind it, and he did feel nostalgic to have her help him in training, as it had stopped. So he was quite excited as he ate his food under the watchful eyes of his master as she enjoyed the joy on his face as she was eating with him.
'He looks so happy.' Yanyue Mei thought to herself as she watched him while eating her food.
Genshu Hao didn't know if it was because of his new ascension or because he was happy, but the food tasted very good, or perhaps it might have just been made in greater quality. He was quite happy that he would actually be able to start training his cultivation after getting his new core, he would've liked to be able to do so without the pill like many in the world, but he knows that not everything will be perfect, and so he doesn't mind it very much.
The two of them finished their food and she brought him to a training area where he could train. It was the place where he had trained in the past, especially with his master, before he started to spend more time with the others in the sect and train with others as he got older.
"So, what should I do?" Genshu Hao asked as he calmed his excitement and stood in attention.
Yanyue Mei stood in frotnyof him and crossed her arms under her breasts as she looked him over and checked his ki, and saw that he still has them under control and they are flowing through his meridians normally and it showed his skill in ki control.
"Usually, it would've been training in controlling your ki, but you already have great control over your ki, so that's not needed. Right now I think you should train on how to use your ki to strengthen yourself." Yanyue Mei said to him after some consideration.
"You're right. So, what are we doing for training?" Genshu Hao asked her eagerly, but politely.
"Attack me with your martial arts while enhanced with ki." Yanyue Mei said to him with a smile.
"Yes Master." Genshu Hao said with a nod as he got into a fighting stance.
Yanyue Mei observed him, standing relaxed as she regarded her disciple and the stance that he is currently in is perfect form as she smiled at the sight.
Genshu Hao regarded his master as he felt his ki inside his body and got ready, before he dashed towards his master as he sent a kick which she blocked easily with one left finger as a small burst of wind occured, but he immediately sent another kick, this time using her finger as leverage to go for her head, something which surprised her as she used the same finger to block that as well.
This one had more power so a big amount of air was displaced causing winds to be kicked up and ruffling their hair as he looked at his teacher as she kept a neutral look. He twisted his body and went for another kick which she blocked with the same finger as he narrowed his eyes.
"You can do better than that." Yanyue Mei said to him.
He grunted and used his ki to make himself stronger as he grabbed her wrist and used it as a leverage to sent another kick, this one more powerful than the last. But she just tilted her neck as his leg passed harmless by her side and wind was kicked up by the kick.
He jumped back and charged towards her and started to throw punches with ki, the attack being very fast and slicing through the air, each fist reaching her in less than a second as he went for her stomach. Yanyue Mei blocked them all with her left index finger as well as she kept on doing it as he kept punching for a few seconds.
Then he opened his hand just before his fist touched her finger and twisted his hand to go past her finger as her eyes widened slightly in surprise as he used a spear hand and hit her stomach as he concentrated his ki to get more power.
The moment his attack hit, wind was kicked up and a small shockwave occurred as Yanyue Mei looked at him. The attack did nothing to her of course, the only thing it did was cause a wind and shockwave that ruffled her hair and clothes which didn't do much, as his attack didn't even damage her clothes as the two were silent for a few seconds.
"That's a good idea, but keep going." Yanyue Mei said to him.
He withdrew his hand and then decided to switch it up as he knife handed her left hand, which she blocked as a small shockwave was formed by the block as she was surprised by it.
'He is making shockwaves from his attacks, only a day after ascending.' Yanyue Mei thought to herself in surprise and pride.
After all, it took a good amount of training to actually reach such level of strength and control, and he was using his ki with such control that he is creating shockwaves from his attacks. He went for her other knee as she blocked it, leaving his left hand free as he attacked her hand, and this surprised her as her arm moved a bit.
He withdrew both hand and lurched forward to attack as she decided to use both her hands to block his fists, but he surprised her again as he bent down and put his hands on the ground and gathering ki in his right leg and kicked her left knee as wind was slightly kicked up at that and a small shockwave occured there when it hit.
And then he used his leg as a foothold and lifted himself off the ground and twisted his body to punch her in a second as he channeled his ki throughout his body. Using the centrifugal force of the twisting and his ki to increase his strength, only for her to grab his fist and cancel the attack.
Her left hand grabbed his leg and lifted him into the air as he blinked, as she is holding him like he was a cat, a particularly mischievous cat as he wiggled in her hands, as she smiled slightly at that as he tried to get out of her grasp before stopping as he slumped in her hands.
"Why did you stop me Master?" Genshu Hao asked her as he hanged there.
"Nothing much, I was just surprised by how you are fighting, I was not aware that such forms of fighting existed." Yanyue Mei said to him with a curious smile.
"It's something I made for myself, when I wasn't able to get to the Silver core stage. I needed to know how to fight in an unexpected manner, the only one who knows about it is Guo Shen." Genshu Hao said to him as he was placed on the ground by his master.
"I see." Yanyue Mei said with a smile.
'That boy knows about this? He told him and not me?' Yanyue Mei thought to herself as she felt some anger at that.
"I couldn't exactly get stronger so I just focused on training with my body, and learning to use my ki. So I developed this fighting style to catch my opponents off guard, especially those who are stronger than me. Doesn't help against those who are much more powerful than I am. But, now that I have reached this stage, I can further develop my skills." Genshu Hao said to her as he stood loosely.
"I see. I would like to see more of your martial arts, let's continue." Yanyue Mei said to him as he nodded.
'I need to know more about him, that is my duty as his master, and ensure that he will be strong enough to not be in danger like before.' Yanyue Mei thought to herself as she looked at him, ready to learn more about her disciple.
