The jungle's oppressive silence shattered like glass as the earth trembled beneath Alex's feet. A shadow darker than night itself rose from the trees—an ancient giant, towering and clad in battle scars older than most kingdoms.
Elbaf's forgotten sentinel.
Alex's eyes narrowed. This wasn't some mindless beast—it was a guardian, a test.
With a deep, rumbling voice that shook the leaves, the giant spoke. "Who dares tread where mortals fear? Speak, or face oblivion."
Alex's grin was dry and sharp. "Just a shadow passing through. But if you want a fight… well, I'm not the polite type."
The giant swung a colossal fist, a mountain crashing down. Alex barely dodged, his body stretching and warping, rubber-like—his Aurelios power twisting reality itself as he imagined shadows twisting into weapons.
He summoned dark tendrils from the very air, striking with phantom spears of shadow. But each strike drained him—not just stamina, but a strange exhaustion that clawed at his life force.
The battle raged—a dance of light and darkness, strength and will.
The giant then dodged the the attack and with both his hand swung he made a impact which made alex shivered.
Alex then created a shield using ground and then the giant punched through the shield and send alex flying making him unconsious . Alex then woke up near a fire with meat roasting on it he saw the giant sitting near to him.
Giant- you woke up ..
Alex- seems so , why did you saved me .
Giant- boy that cursed power ,what fruit did you eat .
Alex- huh . I ate human human fruit model Aurelios (Answered honestly he was at his mercy.)
Giant - Is it time . good its not that paramecia .I am Silva from the Elbaf . why are you here on this island and where are you from . you are weak from using that cursed power . Dont use that power untill very necessory use haki instead .
Alex- first - I got lost second yes indeed third I have studied about this power called haki . whats that and i to train for it .Can you teach me
Silva - get beaten to the pulp or atleast how he taught me . You dont ask me to train you , you might as well die .
Alex - Sweet . but regarding this fruit it doest suit me much.
Silva - It does'nt suit you . Boy you are pittyfully weak
Alex realized something crucial: the Aurelios fruit was a double-edged sword. Its power to make imagination reality came with a heavy toll. Push too far, and the fruit would siphon more than energy—it would steal from his very essence.
Alex - Hey please teach me about haki
Silva- No
Alex- yes
Silva - No
Alex- yes
Silva - Okay then . be prepared
After an exhausting practice for 2 week , the giant lowered his weapon, eyes filled with ancient respect.
"You wield a cursed power… yet you stand firm. Few can bear such a burden."
From his massive hand, he extended a spear—ornate, carved with runes pulsing faintly with old magic.
"This is the Spear of Adam , forged in Elbaf's fires. Take it, warrior. It will guide your will and temper your fruit's hunger."
Alex accepted the spear, feeling its weight—both physical and symbolic.
Leaning on the spear, Alex surveyed the island's horizon, the mystery of Jogmunder and Nika still veiled in shadow, unanswered but ever-present.
"Power without limits is a fairy tale," he muttered again, fingers tracing the spear's ancient runes. "A curse wrapped in a gift. But a necessary one."
He glanced toward the horizon where the sky bled reds and golds—like the world itself was bleeding secrets.
Back on the island, Silva's gaze never left the retreating ship. His voice was barely a whisper, carried by the wind.
"The fruit has emerged again… Nika stirs once more. The boy grows fast."
A shadow flickered behind him—an echo of a voice from another time, sharp and commanding.
"I am waiting. And that weapon you forged… it has found its destined wielder."
Alex's thoughts drifted to the rumors and whispers he'd heard—about the World Nobles, the hidden Celestial Dragons, and the shadowy figure known only as Imu. The world was on the brink, and the threads were tightening.
He tightened his grip on the spear.
"If chaos is coming, I'll be ready. Not just as a shadow… but as a force."
The sea stretched endless and mysterious, but Alex felt something else stirring inside—a purpose, a mission passed down through generations.
And somewhere, in Grand Line, Monkey D. Luffy's laughter echoed on the wind.
"Let the dawn break," Alex whispered, eyes fierce.
