Chapter 70 - Chapter 70 – The Robot of Universe 3

"Don't smash the spaceship!" Ken shouted quickly.

"Okay…" Broly muttered. Just before he could collide with the ship's inner wall, he swerved midair.

Whoosh!

In the next instant, Broly yanked Muse by the head and burst out of the spaceship, dragging him into the Realm of the Gods.

The Realm of the Gods' space wasn't much different from outer space—it was essentially a vacuum.

That meant Broly could survive here just fine.

"Gigu-gigu!"

The robot turned its head toward Muse, but strangely, it showed no reaction at all.

Bang!

Ken swung a kick, sending the robot flying out of the ship.

Merus: "…"

So brutal.

But… for some reason, seeing Ken and Broly take action like this actually felt kind of satisfying.

After kicking the robot, Ken immediately leapt out of the spaceship as well, entering the godly space outside.

Merus hesitated for a moment, then quickly followed and appeared at Ken's side.

"Gigu-gigu!"

The robot hovered midair, its head-light blinking, looking like a complete idiot, not even bothering to counterattack.

Ken walked up, glanced at the spot where his kick had landed, and raised an eyebrow in mild surprise.

"Merus, come look at this. The thing's solid as hell. Took my kick head-on without a single scratch," Ken called.

Merus: "…"

"That was eighty percent of my strength just now. Even the so-called Emperor of the Universe, Frieza, would've been kicked to death," Ken remarked in amazement.

Merus leaned in, carefully inspected the spot where the kick had landed, and even ran his hand over it.

Sure enough, not a mark.

"Whoever made this robot… their technology is truly advanced," Merus said with a thoughtful nod.

"What material is it made of?" Ken asked.

"Likely a special alloy, fused with all kinds of high-tech components," Merus speculated. "By the looks of it, I'd say this was manufactured in Universe 3. It's worth noting—the God of Destruction of Universe 3 was forged from the same kind of material."

"Oh? Universe 3's God of Destruction?" Ken asked knowingly.

"That's right," Merus nodded, analyzing further. "This robot's durability isn't at a God of Destruction's level yet, but it's already comparable to a trainee God of Destruction."

"Just a little dumb," Ken said flatly.

"These robots have an access hatch on their abdomen. Once you're inside, you can control them directly," Merus explained, pointing to a small panel on its belly.

"Open sesame," Ken intoned.

Merus: "…"

"…It won't open," Ken muttered after a pause.

Merus covered his forehead, utterly speechless.

"I'll try using my powers to open it," Ken said. He raised his hand, condensed a shimmering force of angelic energy, and pressed it against the hatch.

"Gigu-gigu!"

The robot's head light flickered madly.

Clack!

A moment later, the panel on its abdomen popped open.

Ken peered inside.

Within, there was a single comfortable-looking seat—designed to embed a pilot snugly into place. Other than that, it was empty.

"The seat's kinda small…" Ken frowned, a little disappointed. "I'm taller and stronger than that little red-faced guy—feels like it'd be cramped."

"Probably designed to fit his proportions," Merus chuckled.

"Let's see if I can control it," Ken said, eyes lighting up.

Merus didn't object.

Ken didn't climb in right away. Instead, he let his angelic power bloom like a star, coating the robot's interior.

"Gigu-gigu!"

The robot made a string of strange machine-like noises.

"What's it saying, Mr. Ken?" Merus asked curiously.

"Just a little cleaning," Ken replied.

Merus: "…"

Do you have a cleaning obsession?

"Mhm. All clean now." Ken nodded in satisfaction. "I've noticed lately—washing things with Angelic Power works even better than detergent or alcohol."

Merus was utterly at a loss.

You're seriously using Angelic Power like dish soap and rubbing alcohol?

Unbelievable.

Ken's frame was a bit taller than Muse's, so when he finally climbed inside, it was a little tight—though not unbearable.

Clack!

He shut the hatch behind him.

In an instant, a panoramic display unfolded before his eyes. It didn't just show the front view—it extended seamlessly to the rear as well.

The display wasn't harsh on the eyes at all. It felt like his senses were directly merged with the outside world.

"Identity check in progress… check complete. Binding initiated…"

"Binding in progress… 1%."

A progress bar appeared on the screen, the numbers rolling at blistering speed—almost eight percent per second.

Ken raised an eyebrow.

Didn't you say you were checking identity?

And now you've already skipped to binding?

It clicked.

The chip in this robot must be damaged. Otherwise, it wouldn't have skipped identity verification and jumped straight into binding a new pilot.

No wonder that red-faced brat had wanted to seize Merus's ship chip so badly.

"Binding in progress… 90%."

In just a few seconds, the bar was almost done.

"Feel anything, Mr. Ken?" Merus asked, waving a hand outside.

"Binding complete!"

The screen flashed, a voice prompt echoed—and suddenly, Ken felt himself fuse completely with the robot.

As if the line between body and machine had disappeared.

Every thought, every intention, translated into the robot's movements.

Even more shocking, the cramped cockpit suddenly felt spacious and comfortable.

Ken flexed the robot's arm and threw a punch.

Whoosh!

The blow tore toward Merus at incredible speed, carrying immense force.

Swish!

But Merus, as expected of a trainee Angel, simply tilted his body aside and dodged cleanly.

Still, Ken was floored.

That punch alone had boosted his power at least fiftyfold.

His eyes widened in shock.

A fiftyfold increase…!

That was on par with transforming into a Super Saiyan.

Excited, Ken unleashed a flurry of combo punches at Merus.
