Dr. Brief: "…"
If you don't know anything, what's the point of poking around?
Jaco couldn't help rolling his eyes and even had the urge to pull Ken away.
If you don't know what you're doing, then stop messing with it. What if you break the spaceship even more?
About ten seconds later—
Bzzz… Bzzz… Bzzz…
The spaceship's body suddenly flashed with light.
Everyone instinctively widened their eyes and stared at the ship.
Jaco was especially stunned and overjoyed, though a hint of disbelief filled his gaze.
What the heck?
How did it get fixed?
"How… how is the ship working again?" he stammered.
"See? I fixed it." Ken smiled.
Everyone fell silent, staring at Ken like he was some kind of monster.
Just like that?
Wasn't that battery supposed to be extremely hard to repair?
Jaco, overjoyed, ran up excitedly, grinning ear to ear.
"Hahaha! My spaceship is finally fixed!" he cheered, dancing around.
"But I can't let Broly's trip go to waste," Ken said suddenly, as Divine ki flowed through his palm.
Zap!
The Divine ki struck the power cell and instantly damaged a component inside.
Fzzzz…
It started burning. The energy cell was destroyed again.
The lights on the spaceship flickered out at once.
"All done." Ken clapped his hands. "As expected, destruction really is easier than creation."
Jaco's smile froze on his face.
Everyone present looked more confused than the last.
There was nearly a full minute of dead silence.
"Dr. Brief… I think this kid might be a philosopher," Dr. Omori whispered.
"No, he's not a philosopher," Dr. Brief shook his head gently.
Dr. Omori blinked in surprise.
I was just joking. Why so serious?
"He told me he plans to become the greatest god in the entire universe," Dr. Brief added.
Dr. Omori: "…"
He stopped talking entirely, cold sweat dripping down his face.
I called him a philosopher. Guess I underestimated him…
He wants to become a god?!
Another wave of silence followed.
"Hahaha… Does something like a 'god' even exist in this world?" Dr. Omori laughed dryly.
"Perhaps. After all, the end of science is metaphysics," Dr. Brief replied, adjusting his glasses.
Dr. Omori wiped his sweat in silence.
Did that seriously just come from a renowned scientist?

Six minutes later—
A bright streak of light flashed across the sky and quickly descended from the clouds.
Broly returned, holding a glowing energy core that looked like the arc reactor in Iron Man's chest. He handed it to Ken.
"Excellent. That took a total of six minutes." Ken nodded in satisfaction. "Not bad, your energy's grown again."
Broly gave a sheepish grin and scratched his head.
Once again, everyone stared blankly at the two of them.
Under their gaze, Ken handed the energy cell to Dr. Brief.
Dr. Brief took the battery and installed it into the spaceship.
Bzzz… Bzzz… Bzzz…
The ship's lights flared to life again, glowing brightly under the night sky.
"It's working! It's working again!" Jaco bounced with joy, running over to shake Dr. Brief's hand. "Thank you, Doctor! Thank you so much!"
"No need to thank me. You should thank Broly—he's the one who got the battery back so quickly." Dr. Brief laughed.
Jaco's face twitched. He quickly turned and shouted his thanks to Broly from a safe distance.
Broly waved silently without a word.
Seeing that Broly didn't seem hostile, Jaco finally let out a sigh of relief.
"Jaco, when are you heading back?" Tights walked over and asked.
"I should head back soon. I've been out of contact with my colleagues for quite a while now," Jaco replied. "I'll depart for Galactic Patrol HQ right away."
He had no intention of staying here any longer.
Earth was way too dangerous.
There were two Saiyans here…
The Earthlings could be wiped out at any moment.
"You promised to take me on a space tour, remember? I want to explore other planets—maybe I can write better novels too," Tights reminded him.
Jaco: "…"
I can't believe I forgot something that important…
"Alright, sure. Let's go together," he nodded without objection.
"Jaco, aren't you forgetting something?" Ken asked with a grin.
Jaco immediately felt a chill run down his spine.
Right… I promised this Saiyan I'd take him to see Merus.
Merus is doomed now…
Well, good. That guy always acts so high and mighty.
Let him face a real challenge for once—it'll be good for him.
"N-No, I didn't forget. I'm about to head out—are you coming with me?" Jaco said quickly.
"Let's go then," Ken nodded.
"My sister and Ken are both going on a space trip? I wanna go too!" Bulma pouted unhappily.
"I'll be back. My spaceship's still on Earth," Ken said as he playfully pinched Bulma's soft cheek.
"I told you not to pinch my face—it makes me drool…" Bulma pouted. "Come back soon, okay? I haven't finished your storage ring yet."
"Do your best!" Ken encouraged.
Bulma: "…"
Is that something I can just brute-force my way through?
"Doctor, Broly and I will head out now." Ken waved at Dr. Brief. "Thanks for your hospitality these past few days, and I'll leave my ship in your care."
"No problem," Dr. Brief nodded.
"Doctor! Good man!" Broly gave him a thumbs-up.
Dr. Brief: "???"
Why am I being called a good man?
"Hey! What about me?! Aren't I a good person too?" Bulma crossed her arms and glared at Broly.
"No…" Broly shook his head without hesitation.
"What did you say? Say that again if you dare!" Bulma snapped.
Startled, Broly quickly hid behind Ken.
Jaco watched the whole thing in a daze.
What kind of logic is this?
Tights's little sister is… this powerful?
You'd never guess just by looking at her.
"Dr. Omori, thank you for taking care of me during this time." Jaco also shook his hand in farewell.
"Come visit Earth again sometime," Dr. Omori smiled.
"I'm a busy guy. I don't have time to go sightseeing," Jaco snorted and turned to enter the spaceship.
The hatch slowly closed behind him.
Whoosh!
The spaceship rose into the sky, pierced the atmosphere in an instant, and vanished into the vastness of space.
"We're officially in space now," Jaco announced.
"Huh? We're in space already?" Tights said in amazement.
"See that giant planet over there? That's Jupiter—largest planet in your solar system, right?" Jaco pointed outside the window.
