The next day.
Lyra and Tessa woke up for their morning duties.
Before breakfast every maid was supposed to assemble and bath together at the communal bathroom. Lyra dared not bath with the other maids.
They would see her wound and then it would bring unnecessary problems if the mark was already fully formed. After being marked, a mark would take a week to form and be full.
She bathed after breakfast then went to her duties.
"Where did you get that dress. It looks beautiful." Tessa found Lyra folding the dress the maid had changed her into.
Lyra didn't know where she had gotten the dress from. She woke up and it was on her.
"Someone gave it to me," Either way, Lyra couldn't ignore the question and again she couldn't tell the truth.
Lyra dressed up in a high collar dress that the maid wore during winter. It was cold so no one could question that.

Rina had been super stressed the whole time after she found the room guarded.
During breakfast she saw Lyra, she seemed too carefree for her liking. And now she was smiling.
Rina sneered, she couldn't believe what she was seeing. After the emotional distressed caused by that stupid girl, Lyra was smiling? She dared!
Rina and her three minions approached Lyra and Tessa.
She ought to teach her a lesson!
"Follow me!" She squeezed the words through her teeth.
Tessa looked and wondered what was happening. She thought they wanted her and Lyra to follow them.
"Why? What have we done?"
"Shut your mouth, asshat! This doesn't concern you" Rina turned to Lyra.
Lyra knew the girls had come for her, she knew that would be the outcome, that's why she didn't say anything.
Lyra didn't have words for Tessa, she just looked at her and then followed Rina.
Moments later.
They arrived in the maids chambers. That was the only secluded place that moment where they could question or rather bully Lyra, the other maids were gone to their duties.
"Where were you?" They pulled Lyra by her arm and shoved her in front of them.
"Don't you dare lie!"
"I was in the healer's room," Lyra had to lie, The Alpha was more scary than these girls.
"Who opened the door for you?"
Lyra swallowed heavily, she didn't do well under pressure and lying was something she wasn't good at but for now she had to convince them all.
"The warriors."
"Were you shouting? Calling for help?" One of the girls pulled her hair roughly.
"N-NO!" her eyes filled with unshed tears.
"Then how did they find you?" A slap landed on Lyra's face. Rina was super furious remembering how she had broken up with Bryce because of this stupid girl, and yes Rina doesn't know Lyra's name.
Lyra's mouth bled because of the impact of the slap. She felt super wronged. Why did everyone treat her like that! What had she done to deserve all of this!
She couldn't fight back. She wasn't that strong to take on four people who were also shifters. Even if they were omegas their wolves were strong to kill her in a second.
"Did you tell anyone?"
"No I did not." She pleaded.
The girl pulled her hair harshly again. She was enjoying Lyra's plight too much.
Rina didn't believe Lyra and even if Lyra didn't say anything, she wasn't going to just let her be, She had gone through excess emotional stress for her to just forgive her. Just remembering what had just happened to her fueled her "Hit her!"
Given the chance, Lyra received slaps, kicks, hair pulls. They were too rough! She even protected her in the expense of her going to the dungeon and they wanted to bully her.
She laid down, she was too tired to fight back. She was too tired for this kind of life. It was too much for them to hit and bully her.
Rina stepped back her arms folded under her chest. The cinema was enjoyable.
"What are you doing?" A voice boomed from the entrance.
The three girls stopped quickly and they all turned towards the door.
Noah stood there his eyes glaring at the girls. 'Was bullying happening in the pack?' The question ran through his mind.
"What are you girls doing?" Noah asked again. His eyes glanced at Lyra who just lied down. It was his second time seeing her on the ground again. Just how unlucky was she?
Noah after the command to watch Lyra, he had been doing that, he saw nothing out of the ordinary until four girls got her, from Lyra's demeanor he knew there was something amiss and when he followed he found her being bullied, trampled by the other girl's feet.
He heard the whole conversation between the girls that he knew Rina was the one who locked her inside. Though he still didn't get why Lyra protected her bullies.
