I shot Sung-min a knowing look.
"Don't be jealous. He's just embarrassed, not trying to seduce me." I chuckled but that earned me a light glare, like a warning, from Sung-min.
Too far? Probably too far. Let's tone it down a little.
Inseop, still avoiding eye contact, finally moved toward the dining table and sat down silently, hands on his knees like a soldier waiting for orders.
The three of us, sitting there, felt awkward but our meal was not interrupted.
It was almost peaceful.
Almost.
Because when Inseop finally raised his head from his meal, his eyes flickered faintly in my direction, and they contained something I didn't like.
It wasn't hostility, but something close to confusion.
Curiosity, perhaps?
I don't know but it wasn't entirely curiosity.
Why was he looking like me like that? I don't want him having that flicker in his eyes. Coming from him, it's completely disturbing.
I frowned.
Sung-min, sitting next to me, frowned as well.
