As he pondered, someone else rushed into the infirmary.

The newcomer had long purple hair and azure blue eyes, with a grave yet calm expression. He wore a green school uniform and held a wooden sword stained with some blood, indicating he had fought his way through.

Looking at his size, he was probably a protagonist.

Kisaragi Rin measured him with his eyes, a thought suddenly occurring to him.

After all, the biggest special feature of this anime in his memory was its sheer size.

"Who are you?"

Saeko Busujima's gaze was fixed on Kisaragi Rin, her expression serious. The several zombies with blown-out heads in the infirmary proved that this guy was no mere show-off.

"He is Kisaragi Rin, a student from our school," Shizuka Marikawa explained, tapping her chin with her finger, and asked curiously, "Saeko, what's the situation like outside?"

"There are those zombies everywhere, and people who get bitten get infected. We can't get through to the police station; everything outside has completely paralyzed."

"That's really troublesome. They die and turn into biting monsters, just like those gore-filled movies."

Shizuka Marikawa was putting some medicine from the cabinet into a first-aid kit.

"Wait a moment, I want to take more things."

Saeko Busujima glanced at Kisaragi Rin. How could Fujimi Academy have a student of this build? A height of 195cm was quite rare even in all of Japan.

But she didn't expose him. Instead, she thanked Kisaragi Rin, "Thank you, Kisaragi Rin, for protecting Marikawa-sensei. I am Saeko Busujima from the Kendo Club, Class 3-A."

"Did Saeko specifically come to rescue Marikawa-sensei?" Kisaragi Rin asked curiously. With the world ending, why would she specifically run to save a school nurse? Was she here to collect medicine?

"I happen to know Marikawa-sensei and was worried that her personality might get her into danger."

Is she reminding me not to harm Shizuka Marikawa?

Do I look that much like a bad guy?

Kisaragi Rin carefully considered his physique. Well, he really didn't look like a good person.

"We need to leave quickly," Kisaragi Rin told Saeko Busujima.

Now was the time when the virus had just broken out, and also when the zombies were rapidly increasing. If they didn't leave now, once everyone in the academy died, the outside would probably be full of zombies.

Moreover, he couldn't stay in this school forever. Since the mission evaluation could be improved, he had to explore the specific methods.

"Let's go to the parking lot first. It'll be much more convenient if we find a vehicle."

Shizuka Marikawa also pondered, "If we want to drive, we'll have to go to the office to find the keys."

Kisaragi Rin looked at Shizuka Marikawa. She had already packed her first-aid kit and slung it over her back.

"Marikawa-sensei, isn't your skirt a bit inconvenient?" Kisaragi Rin looked at Shizuka Marikawa's hip-hugging skirt that tightly wrapped around her thighs. Such clothes made it impossible to run. It would be terrible if she fell in a horde of zombies.

"I'll do it," Saeko Busujima decided instantly, crouching down and unhesitatingly tearing the hip-hugging skirt on one side of Shizuka Marikawa's thigh.

"Ah, but this is a designer brand!" Shizuka Marikawa waved her arms, a displeased expression on her face, and protested softly.

"Which is more important, clothes or life?" Saeko Busujima looked up, her eyes firm and calm, and asked Shizuka Marikawa.

"Both are important!" Shizuka Marikawa puffed out her cheeks and stubbornly replied.

Saeko Busujima sighed helplessly. This was why she worried about Shizuka Marikawa.

"Also, Kisaragi Rin, stop looking," Shizuka Marikawa suddenly turned her head, stared at Kisaragi Rin, and puffed out her cheeks.

Kisaragi Rin averted his gaze, muttering to himself.

My sister said purple has a lot of charm.

"Then let's go."

Pushing open the door, the hallway still had blood and limbs, emitting a strong smell of blood. The wandering zombies were quickly attracted, drooling foul-smelling saliva as they lunged forward.

"Roar!"

Then their heads were easily blown off by Kisaragi Rin.

This left Saeko Busujima, who was behind him, with an incredulous expression.

As a national Kendo competition champion, she considered herself very strong, but she could only shatter a zombie's head, not imagine how much strength Kisaragi Rin possessed to directly blow off a zombie's head with a casual strike.

Unable to suppress the surprise in her heart, Saeko Busujima couldn't help but ask Kisaragi Rin, "Who exactly are you?"

Kisaragi Rin casually blew off two more zombies and waved his bandaged right hand.

"Me?"

"Fourth place in the Japanese Youth Karate Tournament, three consecutive times."

???

Saeko Busujima had question marks floating in her mind.

Why was it a youth karate tournament?

And fourth place?

Three consecutive times?

Was karate that terrifying now?

Shizuka Marikawa, however, clapped very obligingly, which attracted the zombies' attack, making her hastily move closer to Kisaragi Rin.

"These zombies seem to be more sensitive to sound."

Kisaragi Rin noticed this and motioned for the two of them to quiet down.

Sure enough, the zombies stopped attacking as if they couldn't see their prey, wandering in the hallway.

Completely lost their sight, relying on hearing to find prey?

Although he wasn't afraid of these zombies, it was good to have less trouble. Suddenly becoming a provisional player as mentioned by that Paradise, encountering so many things, Kisaragi Rin still had many thoughts to sort out. Anyway, he had to survive for seven days, so there was no rush to "farm points" now.

The two successfully passed through the hallway and ran towards the office via the sky bridge between the teaching buildings. There were far fewer zombies here, possibly attracted away by people in other places.

Kisaragi Rin also saw Saeko Busujima's strength. He didn't understand Kendo, but from her power and speed, Saeko Busujima's strength was incredibly abnormal compared to ordinary people; she was a very good combat asset.

Suddenly, a scream came, followed by the sound of a chainsaw echoing throughout the entire teaching building.

"Someone?" Saeko Busujima slowed her pace and said.

"Let's go check it out."

Kisaragi Rin remembered this was a famous scene.

The sound was near the office. When Kisaragi Rin arrived at this classroom, he witnessed a pink-haired girl attacking a zombie with a drill, the zombie caught in the chainsaw, flesh and blood flying everywhere.

"The pinker the hair, the fiercer the fight."

Kisaragi Rin was somewhat amazed. Fortunately, Kirisu-sensei wasn't this violent.

Several people were already present.

A man who looked like a protagonist, a terrified fat man holding a nail gun, a brown-haired girl, plus the blonde and purple-haired girls next to Kisaragi Rin. He felt like the classic survival team from a movie was complete.

The pink-haired girl had already stopped her drill at the brown-haired girl's persuasion and was now trembling, collapsing to the ground, crying while hugging the brown-haired girl.

"The drill is so loud, this place should be surrounded by zombies very soon," Kisaragi Rin couldn't help but warn.

He absolutely hated crying and felt like he was suffering from noise pollution when he heard such sounds.

And in this situation, not running away, were they waiting for the protagonist's halo to activate? Fortunately, this wasn't some dark and tragic anime, otherwise, they'd probably have to sacrifice a brown-haired girl's head to enter the next plot.

"This student is right, we need to leave quickly, Rei."

The black-haired man spoke, stepping forward to help the pink-haired girl up.

This should be the protagonist, Kisaragi Rin thought to himself, a little curious if killing the original protagonist would increase the so-called trial score.

There were many people present, and most of them had combat strength, so Kisaragi Rin simply stayed by Shizuka Marikawa's side, acting like an invalid and slacking off, while observing this group of people.

"You're Saeko, the champion of last year's national Kendo competition, aren't you?" The brown-haired girl looked at Saeko Busujima, who was taking down one zombie with each sword strike, with stars in her eyes.

Her name was Rei Miyamoto, a member of the spear club, and she was intimately close with the male lead named Komuro Takashi, suspected to be the main female lead.

"Your spear technique is also very good, Rei."

The spear technique here refers to the long spear. The chubby boy named Hirano Kouta, however, had made himself a nail gun, hitting every shot. It was said he learned it all from summer camp. Kisaragi Rin felt that such a talent had the ability to go to Tokyo's Beika City and film an episode.

Shizuka Marikawa pondered beside Kisaragi Rin why Saeko Busujima, the Kendo champion, didn't seem as formidable as Kisaragi Rin, the karate fourth-place finisher.

"By the way, is this student from our school?" Komuro Takashi looked at Kisaragi Rin suspiciously, especially at the bandage on his hand. In such a situation, one could always imagine something.

"Due to some special reasons, I usually haven't been to school. I just happened to come today to process my withdrawal when this happened."

"The injury on my hand, well, I fell."

Kisaragi Rin casually made up an excuse, filling a loophole in his identity. The teachers were probably mostly dead anyway, so no one should be able to stand up and refute him.

Such words obviously wouldn't earn their trust, but Kisaragi Rin didn't care about their attitude either; he was only staying here for seven days anyway.

Now, they had arrived at the office.
