The Groundlings had torches, and the room was not only well-lit, it seemed to be the base of the Groundlings!
With a magical pulse that alerted them of Thane's arrival, Thane knew that he had reached the home of these Groundlings!
"I should have watched more episodes about these Goblin kin!" Thane complained.
But whether or not more TV was the solution, Thane had no time as several Groundlings could be seen rushing at him.
Thane could tell that the place beyond him seemed to be the home of the groundlings.
Stabby Boi appeared on his hand.
"Thankfully, all those dart sessions come in handy!"
Playing with darts was his excuse to avoid the drinking sessions in any corporate-related events and not give in to drunkenness in order to adhere to his Christian convictions.
And since he worked with Sales, the team drank. A LOT!
But as a Christian, he found an excuse not to take part in the drinking and was known as the King of Darts. He actually got very good at it, that Thane didn't know he could have competed professionally!
Thane held the dagger and hurled it.
STAB!
It was a little off, but the dagger landed right on the chest as the Groundling squealed.
It stumbled, and one other Groundling stumbled back after colliding with the first one.
A strange, familiar pulse was felt through the ground, and several screeches and roars could be heard in the distance.
"Something's there and it's calling for backup!" Thane knew he had to act.
Thane charged in without fear and stabbed the enemy with his spear.
STAB!
With his taller and larger frame compared to the small Groundlings, the spear reached even as the Groundling tried to stab him.
FWIP!
The Celestial TV was activated

Thane had harnessed the Spirit energy on his legs, and as the time ended, [Spirit Dispersing Deflection Strike] was unleashed.
BOOOM!
Thane vaulted to the left, leaving his spear behind and evading the attack of a Groundling as he sped up towards a club-wielding goblin and pounded the part where the monster core was.
Thane did a sweeping low kick and caused the other Groundling to lose his balance.
A familiar jolt was constantly felt as Thane was trying to activate the Celestial TV again and again, but it was only now that Thane realized he could not constantly activate the Celestial TV.

But seeing this, Thane was not scared.
"Stabby Boi Jr.! Stabby McGee!"
The twin daggers appeared, and Thane threw them on his left and right, striking the other two Groundlings rushing at him.
"Item store!" Thane shouted, and all the items returned to him.
He rejoiced as he felt all the items returned.
"Good!" Thane then sped backwards but was surprised to see there were already two other Groundlings behind him!
Bonky Stick appeared, and Thane quickly swung it.
SMASH!
Evading the attack of the other Groundling, Thane sped onwards as the Groundling began to chase after him.

The Celestial TV couldn't be activated, but Thane knew he would be able to use it the next time.
Thane saw a tight, narrow path and returned to it and turned around.
The Groundlings rushed at him, but in the tight space, only one could fit in.
A quick swap of his weapons, and Thane held his spear again.
STAB! STAB!
Pointy Justice's reach struck the Groundling before it could counter with its own spear.
Thane fought on as he began to stab and strike.
Using the last stabbed Groundling as a meatshield, Thane pushed against the incoming crowd of groundlings while he turned his head around.
Sure enough, Groundlings were appearing behind him!
Thane took Stabby Boi and hurled it at the incoming Groundling.
STAB!
But as the first groundling fell, several others were rushing behind it.
FWIP!

Thane harnessed the Spirit energy, but this time, he allowed it to course right into his spear and his legs!
[Spirit Point Strike] was unleashed as he also kicked the ground with [Spirit Dispersing Deflection Strike].
BOOOM!
The spear was stabbed with great force and penetrated through several Groundlings and made a Groundling barbecue.
Taking the other spear of the Groundling, Thane hurled it with all his might.
Stab!
But unlike his dagger-wielding abilities, his spear throw was off and struck the foot of the Groundling, who stumbled down, creating a blocked path.
As the attack managed to delay the arrival of the Groundlings behind him, Thane turned towards the Groundlings on a Stick and pushed the spear downwards, pinning the Groundlings and covering the path.
He turned around and quickly ran towards the other side with Stabby Boi Jr. and Stabby McGee on hand.
STAB! STAB!
The daggers struck their intended targets right on the head, causing two more Groundlings to stumble as they were trying to go over the Groundling who took a Spear to the knee.
With both sides crowded, Thane gathered Spirit and observed the two sides.
One Groundling hurled a dagger through the space in anger, but Thane's dexterity surpassed the inexperienced throw.
Thane caught it and threw it back.
STAB!
The other side hurled its spear to Thane's delight.
Thane stepped back and evaded it and held on to the spear with his Spirit surging.
The Groundlings that were blocked with the knee-struck ally managed to finally break through the bottleneck, and Thane rushed at them.
[Spirit Point Strike] and [Spirit Dispersing Deflection Strike] were used once more.
BOOOM!
STAB!
Thane pierced deep into the Groundling crowd, and since he had more running room, he pushed the crowd even further inside!
He took a spear from the nearest Groundling and turned around, confident that the blockage would take a lot of time, and with the narrow space, throwing a dagger or spear was impossible!
He saw that the Groundlings finally managed to pull out the Groundling-skewer on the other end that blocked their path.
A familiar pulse of the ground echoed out once more.
"Something's calling all the Groundlings here!" Thane knew he needed to go over to the base of the Groundlings!
With his items retrieved and even more daggers to spare, Thane willed all the daggers up.
The Stabby family appeared, along with three more daggers from the fallen Groundlings nearby.
Thane hurled daggers as he ran, striking the Groundlings on their torsos as Thane approached.
Reaching the foremost Groundling, Thane kicked again with both of his feet, erupting with [Spirit Dispersing Deflection Strike].
[Spirit Dispersing Deflection Strike skill level increased!]
Thane had no time to mind the notification as he pushed the Groundling like a shield and charged through the ranks.
BOOOM!
FWIP!

Thane had arrived at the strange room and used the Celestial TV to gauge his surroundings.
There were numerous paths from the room, and several more Groundlings were arriving.
Thane's eyes scanned the place as Spirit gathered.
There were no signs of what would be the Groundling boss.
But Thane saw a strange gathering of magical energies at the very center of this strange room.
Bones and corpses of various creatures were found right around it, and Thane could see a vast magical energy on the ground.

As time resumed, Thane did not hesitate but ran towards where the mana gathered. Thane charged towards the area with great haste, causing the Groundlings to rush in surprise.
Thane saw the ground rise, forming what seemed to be earthen-shaped humanoids that looked similar to the Groundlings!
"Getting scared?!" Thane roared as he ran past the rising statues, using the head of one of the rising sculptures to jump higher.
Spirit gathered at his two hands, and Thane combined the two Spirit Skills he knew and locked on the center of the magical convergence.
[Spirit Point Strike] and [Spirit Dispersing Deflection Strike] combined into one strike attack, and he stabbed the ground, pushing all of his weight down.
STAB!
BOOOOM!
An explosion of mana erupted from the ground and sent Thane flying back, his spear broken to pieces.
