'Tell me please' he whispers. I feel my eyes water, a lone tear escapes and rolls down my face. I probably look like a hot-mess. I can't help it though. Why is he now being so caring?.
I open my mouth to say his name but the word gets stuck in my throat. Mr Sinclair wraps his hand around mine and rubs soothing circles on the back of my hand.
It's comforting.
I bite my lip to stop myself from sighing. This cold strict teacher is comforting me. I don't know what to think so I just stare at him blankly.
He sighs heavily.
He now asks again but in a different way, he grabs my cheek with his free hand and pulls my lip from my teeth
'Abby, you need to tell me who Tommy's friend is so I can help you, let me help you'
'Zeek' I whisper.
'Good girl sweetheart, thank you for telling me'
He rubs his thumb along my jaw then stands back up. I think I'm attracted to him. I know his hot and cold attitude is confusing but damn the way he just looked at me is so alluring.
He stands up and states abruptly 'I'm popping out for a while, stay here, I mean it'
I nod my head not looking at him. He grabs my chin in his thumb and forefinger and tilts my chin up.
I meet his honey brown eyes and then murmur 'okay' he smiles down at me then releases me and walks out the classroom.
Ria and sally must have been waiting in the bathroom as when Mr Sinclair leaves they arrive at the door a few minutes later.
Ria strolls right up to me and slaps me round the face
'you bitch your going to pay for what you've done'. It stings so much but I can't cry, not in front of them! Sally's right behind her and she quickly grabs hold of my hair and yanks it
'you snitch, our boyfriends are in trouble because of you'
clearly Tommy and Zeek have told their girlfriends about earlier already.
I scream but refuse to let my tears fall. They both have rounded the desk by now and start hitting me. I try to push them off but there's two of them. I manage to slip under the desk and I crawl out the other side as quick as I can, I scramble to my feet and run for the door.
Both of the girls are hot on my tail. When I reach the door and try to open it one starts pushing it shut and the other drags me backwards by the hair. My scalp burns and I feel my hair being ripped out, I'm screaming and crying from the pain. It's like my head is on fire!
I'm dropped to the floor then sally kicks me in the ribs. I'm winded, my tears start streaming out my eyes.
Ria starts to clap and laugh then beckons sally 'leave it'
they both leave and all I can hear are their cackles drifting away.
I close my eyes, my head is pounding, I feel dizzy and it hurts to breathe. My eyes droop then everything goes black.
