Chapter 16 - Chapter 14 – The Empty Gaze.

"Let's go to your sister, Luna. There we'll find out where the Union's main base is," Celestienne smiled, but there was urgency in her eyes.

Her friends were confused, but Celestienne was already filled with plans for war against the Union.

"Let's go to Luna. But I'll heal these elves first."

"You'll run out of mana!" Velissandra panicked.

"No. I'll use that magic."

"Spirit Healing Magic, 5th Tier!!"

Healing light radiated from Celestienne, reaching all the elves.

"How is that possible? Humans or elves can't use spirit magic!" Eryndor was incredulous.

"Taught by an elder," Celestienne smiled, nostalgic.

Selene grew more curious, especially after seeing the towering God Tree in the forest of death.

"The elves' God Tree..." Selene was captivated. "What would happen if I touched it?"

She approached the roots of the God Tree, curiosity burning. Touch. Instantly, her vision went dark.

"What? Celestienne! Friends! Where are you?"

She walked in the darkness, shouting for them. Then, she felt water beneath her feet.

"What is this? Like the subconscious..."

Selene, being clever, knew about the human consciousness. She kept walking, hoping to get out.

"Let me out! I want to be with my friends!" She pleaded.

A woman appeared, her hair like Selene's, her ears like an elf's. She smiled.

"Who are you? Why do you look like me?"

The woman approached, staring into Selene's eyes. "I am you, and you are me."

"You're from the future? A different timeline?"

"Perhaps. But remember: help Celestienne find the answer."

The woman vanished, swallowed by the water.

"What answer? Why do I have to help Celestienne?"

Selene pondered. The darkness turned to soil, illuminated by Celestienne's spirit magic.

"Hey, Selene! Over here! We have to go to Luna!" Seraphina shouted.

Selene was startled. "Sorry! Wait!" She ran.

"So slow!" Eryndor grumbled.

"Sorry... I was thinking about something," Selene smiled.

Celestienne and her friends, after healing the elves, headed to Luna.

---

Luna's Location.

Celestienne smiled warmly at Luna, stroking her head. "Now, I have to go back." Her fingers were about to touch the necklace, but Selene stopped her.

"Are you sure you can find Caelvorn's main base?" Selene asked, suspicious.

"With this necklace, my memories and power are here."

"WHAT...?" Selene was shocked. "You're lying!"

"No." Celestienne stared at her, her eyes not lying. "Alright, I'll start."

Touch. The necklace emitted a dazzling rainbow light. Everyone was forced to look away. When their vision returned, Celestienne had become a floating ball of rainbow light.

"What's happening?" Seraphina panicked.

Suddenly, the Sword Spirit appeared before them. "Calm down. Princess Celestienne is accessing her power."

As they waited anxiously, inside the ball of light...

Inside Celestienne's Power.

Darkness. Celestienne opened her eyes, surprised. "So, this is my power?"

As she walked, a sealed memory appeared: Young Solara playing with her. "Why is Solara here?" Celestienne approached, but the memory disappeared. "What's our relationship?"

Frustrated, Celestienne saw light at the end of the darkness. "My power!" She ran, breathless, until she reached the ball of rainbow light. When touched, the ball opened on its own.

"Why?" Celestienne stepped back, wary. The light merged with her. Her hair changed, her eyes froze. Her cheerful smile vanished.

In the Elf Forest, Selene and the others were stunned. Celestienne descended, her face expressionless.

"Yo, Selene. Panicking because I have no emotions?" Celestienne greeted casually.

Before Selene could answer, the Sword Spirit came out and revealed the truth:

---

600 Years in the Past.

Young Celestienne, lonely after Luna's departure, threw stones at the cave wall.

"Princess, I know you're sad. But you're hiding it so Luna won't worry, right?" The Sword Spirit tried to comfort her.

"Enough!" Celestienne snapped, annoyed. "I just have to kill all the monsters here to get out."

"Who gave you this mission?"

"It's a secret. You're too weak to know."

"Weak?" The Sword Spirit roared, its aura destroying the cave. Celestienne just sighed wearily.

"I want to eat delicious meat..." Celestienne imagined food, drool dripping.

"Princess! You're a noble, but you have no etiquette!"

"I'm a guy! And I want to live a carefree life!"

"Impossible with your power that surpasses the gods."

"Easy. Just seal my power and memories."

"Where?"

"In Luna's necklace." Celestienne grinned.

"Crazy kid! Giving your power to a child?"

Celestienne snapped, then left the cave, venting her anger on the monsters. The Sword Spirit was worried, knowing that every monster killed eroded Celestienne's humanity.

"I always wanted you to be happy, Princess... But if you keep killing for 1200 years, what will be left of you?"

The Sword Spirit lamented in its heart, its thoughts merging with Celestienne's.

---

Back in the Present.

"...that's why Princess Celestienne has no emotions. She sealed everything: her memories, her power, and her feelings," The Sword Spirit finished the story, everyone sobbing.

"So, all the emotions we've seen... were fake?" Selene asked, heartbroken.

"That's right. The Celestienne you knew never existed."

The elves looked at Celestienne, hopeful.

The emotionless Celestienne turned to the Sword Spirit. "Time to find the Union's base." Her gaze was cold, terrifying.

---

Epilogue.

Celestienne walked towards the God Tree. Her gaze was cold, emotionless, silencing Velissandra and her friends. There was something threatening in her calmness, making their hair stand on end.

"What should we do?" Eryndor whispered, his voice barely audible. "With Celestienne like this..."

Selene frowned, her mind racing to find a way to restore Celestienne's emotions. But her friends' whispers and worried looks frustrated her.

"Quiet!" Selene hissed, her voice sharp. "I can't think if you keep bothering me."

An awkward silence hung in the air. Then, Selene's eyes lit up. "I know!" she exclaimed, a faint smile appearing on her lips.

She gestured for Eryndor, Velissandra, and Seraphina to come closer. In a whisper, she explained her plan.

"What do you think? Is my plan good?" Selene asked, her eyes sparkling with hope.

"Very good!" they replied in unison, their expressions reflecting admiration and hope.

"Alright," Selene said, her smile widening. "Let's get Celestienne's emotions back!"

As they laughed softly, eager to carry out their plan, something strange happened beyond the reach of their world...

---

Outside the Universe.

An old grandfather with a long white beard sat in a rocking chair, a gentle smile on his face. He looked towards Selene and her friends, sensing their determination and friendship.

"What interesting friends," he murmured, his voice trembling with age and wisdom. "He's willing to sacrifice his carefree life for his true friends. What an extraordinary friendship."

He stroked his beard, his eyes twinkling. Suddenly, several other old grandfather figures appeared around him, their faces serious.

"Oh, so you see it too," said one of them, his voice heavy. "We must go."

Without saying another word, the old grandfathers vanished in an instant, leaving behind the rocking chair gently swaying and a small letter lying on the ground.

A gentle breeze blew, unfolding the letter. In neat, small letters, a message was written:

"May you succeed in restoring Celestienne Aurelith's emotions."

The letter disappeared, as if it had never been there. Only silence and mystery remained, waiting to be revealed.
