Rachel didn't even ask Stephen, she walked past him, anger written all over her face. She pushed the door open hard and went right into Nicholas Grey's office, her heels hitting the shiny floor loudly, like warnings of arrival.
Stephen, feeling helpless, walked slowly behind her. "Ms. Crawford, please, you can't just do this every time…"
But it was too late now. Nicholas was already watching her, leaning back in his chair with a faint smile on his face. He looked at Stephen quickly, whose shoulders had dropped like he had lost a battle.
"Again?" Nicholas spoke to him, his lips stretched into a smile.
Stephen sighed loudly. "Again."
Rachel put her hands flat on Nicholas's desk, her angry look sharp like a knife. "You should never have done what you did."
Nicholas lifted his eyebrow, looking annoyingly calm. "Done what exactly?"
