Chapter 48 - Chapter 48: Motion Sickness

On the narrow forest path leading to the beach, the sudden sound of footsteps broke the existing tranquility.

Having crossed oceans and mountains, Kiana finally arrived at her long-desired private beach. Because the place was secluded, the taxi could only drop them off at the nearest intersection; they had to walk the remaining stone path themselves.

However, the atmosphere of the originally lively group was somewhat subdued at this time, the reason being the figure currently being supported and walked in front.

"Brother, just a little more. We'll be there soon."

Seele supported Nangong Yu's arm, Bronya helped on one side, while Kiana, Sirin, and Mei also showed worried expressions behind them.

"Don't worry, I'm much better."

Although he said so, his head, which still felt like it was spinning, and his stinging eardrums still made him occasionally show signs of pain.

He never thought that he, with his illustrious reputation, would be defeated by an airplane.

It wasn't until he got on the plane that he realized he suffered from motion sickness. The international flight was long, tormenting him throughout the journey, making him wish he were dead. He couldn't sleep, couldn't vomit, and after getting off the plane, his muddled head couldn't even stand steadily. He only started feeling better just now.

Logically, with his excellent physical condition, he shouldn't get motion sickness, but he still fell victim to it.

The human body, isn't it amazing?

This state of his terrified Sirin and the others. After getting off the plane, they didn't stop for a moment, taking a taxi directly to their destination, rushing to get Nangong Yu to lie down and rest.

"Really? Brother isn't allowed to lie to Seele."

"Of course not. It's just motion sickness, not an illness."

"That's good."

Seele felt a little relieved and nodded gently.

The stone path wasn't long, and soon, they saw the fenced-off iron railings and the locked gate ahead.

As Bronya unlocked the gate, the scenery behind it suddenly opened up, just like what was described in "Peach Blossom Spring."

The dense forest, acting as a natural barrier, formed a huge semicircle around this area. The artificial beach was covered with soft, fine sand, shimmering under the sunlight. The clear blue sea also sparkled with reflections of the sun, an endless expanse seemingly connecting with the sky.

Unfortunately, Nangong Yu temporarily had no interest in admiring this scenery.

At the far end of the sea, there was a fully equipped villa, and Seele and the others hurried inside.

The villa had already been thoroughly cleaned and tidied by people Cocolia arranged beforehand. The neat guest rooms were perfectly fine for immediate occupancy.

Carefully helping Nangong Yu lie down on the bed, they finally breathed a sigh of relief.

The soft bed indeed made him much more comfortable, and he even felt a bit of drowsiness creeping in.

He looked at them, trying to force a smile onto his face: "You all go play first. I feel much better now. I should be fine after a good sleep."

"Really? A Yu, don't push yourself."

Kiana leaned over and poked his shoulder. Nangong Yu's bloodless face right after getting off the plane had scared her terribly; she thought he was going to die.

"Don't worry, we still have our volleyball showdown agreed upon. I won't fall before I defeat you."

"Hmm? I can't pretend I didn't hear that~"

Seeing that Nangong Yu, though still sounding a bit weak, was already in the mood to joke, Kiana relaxed. She raised her hand and patted his shoulder again: "Then I'll wait for you to wake up, and we'll settle this!"

"I don't think we need to compare that." Bronya muttered softly.

"Oh, the meaning is pretty much the same, just get the gist of it!"

"Alright, let him rest properly."

Seeing Kiana still wanting to say something, even pulling Nangong Yu to prepare for a fist bump, Mei finally couldn't stand it anymore and directly interrupted her. Then Sirin also cooperated by pulling Kiana out.

"Then Big Brother, rest well. If anything happens, don't forget to call Seele."

Seele originally wanted to stay, but in the end, Nangong Yu convinced her to go out. He was just a little motion sick, and since they rarely got to go out, there was no need for Seele to waste her time accompanying him.

"Okay, have fun."

Soon, only Nangong Yu was left in the room. His consciousness was already starting to become hazy, and not long after, he fell into a deep sleep.

...

"Woohoo, ocean, here I come~"

Since it was confirmed that Nangong Yu was fine, Kiana naturally played with carefree abandon.

She quickly changed into her swimsuit in the room, then was the first to rush out the door and run towards the deserted beach.

The hot fine sand, scorched by the sun, made the barefoot Kiana yelp and shout. Then she quickly stepped into the cool seawater, instantly letting out a contented sigh and happily running around, like an unbridled husky, frolicking to her heart's content.

Soon, Mei and Sirin were dragged into the playful group by her splashes of water, laughing and playing together, creating a lively scene.

Seele, however, sat on a chair on the beach, wrapped in her jacket, staring blankly at the sea, lost in thought.

"Seele, aren't you going to play?"

Bronya, who had changed into her swimsuit last, walked up to Seele and spoke softly to her.

Seele raised her gaze. Sister Bronya's increasingly mature figure made her pause for a moment, but she quickly shook her head gently.

And at this moment, Kiana, who was playing around, also waved from afar to the two on the beach: "Seele, Bronya, come play~"

Hearing this, Seele stood up and raised her hand as a response to Kiana: "Sorry, Seele suddenly remembered she forgot to bring something. You all go play first~"

After speaking, she bid farewell to Sister Bronya beside her, then lifted her feet, taking small, white steps towards the villa.

"Forgot something?"

Looking at Seele's retreating back, Bronya chuckled teasingly: "I think someone's heart has long since fallen into someone's room."

Seele didn't respond, but her quickened pace was enough to explain everything.

Returning to the villa, Seele first went back to her room to change her clothes, then gently opened the door to Big Brother's room.

Big Brother was already asleep on the bed. To avoid waking him, Seele tiptoed, even her breathing becoming shallow.

She gently closed the door again and carefully walked to the bedside, gazing at Big Brother's still somewhat pale face and slightly furrowed brows, a hint of heartache flashing in her eyes.

It felt like a long time since she had seen Big Brother looking so vulnerable. With a brief recollection, her mind was filled with images of Big Brother smiling and standing in front of her, as if with him there, Seele didn't need to worry about any difficulties.

She bent down, leaning on the side of the bed, and slowly placed her warm palm on his face, wanting to transfer her warmth to Big Brother.

As if truly sensing Seele's closeness, Nangong Yu's brows slowly relaxed.

Seeing this, a hint of joy welled up in Seele's heart. Then she simply took off her shoes, lifted the thin summer quilt, and slipped inside, skillfully and gently embracing Big Brother's body.

Looking at his close face, Big Brother's warm breath slowly brushed against her ear, making Seele feel ticklish, and her earlobes gradually turned red.

Then her sky-blue eyes fixed on his somewhat dry lips. As thoughts just began to stir in her mind, her body put them into action.

She leaned forward, gently using her moist lips to envelop his dry ones, her nimble tongue slowly tracing, wetting them little by little.

After wetting both his upper and lower lips, Seele kissed him again with a hint of reluctance, then raised her head to look at her handiwork, her rosy little face filled with unconcealed shyness and joy.

Finally, she closed her eyes and leaned her forehead against Big Brother's, whispering softly.

"Good night, Big Brother."
