Eventually, everyone reached the school. Upon arrival, everyone was staring at Zyric. Miss Grace, and Raven, and many others, were staring at Zyric, since the news of his identity as brother to Dr. Diana had circulated. Why not tell anyone earlier, everyone kept wondering.
"No one would have bothered him so much had all known that he was the brother of Dr. Diana," people were murmuring all this.
However, Zyric really didn't want to tell anyone about Diana even now because he didn't like it. His sister was very famous, and because of her, everyone was now treating Zyric well, which he didn't like. Zyric preferred to see people's true faces, as always.
Soon after, Diana went to the Surveillance Room, and Zyric sat in his class because he was reinstated.
Diana saw that Zyric was not at fault for anything that had happened. Zyric had simply heard that his sister was in trouble. In his desperation to do something, he had generated the Fuzan Vault out of sheer passion.
"How cinematic this feels. Doing all this just to save his sister." Dr. Edwin said to Diana.
"Hm, though, where was my brother for two years? He has changed so much suddenly; it feels strange to me too. Can you find out where he was?" Diana asked Dr. Edwin.
"Okay, I'll try to find out. Anyway, We may need to close up this Divine Stone project now any way," said Dr. Edwin to Diana.
After that, they left. But Diana stayed at the school to wait for Zyric. While she sat there, boys and girls were coming to take photos with her.
Zyric's seat was assigned again where he used to sit before, right next to Raven. Raven glanced at him once or twice but said nothing.
On the other side, Zyric was overjoyed. He was smiling while watching the class happening in front of him. A separate class was being held for Zyric that all the children had to attend. Some old things were being explained to Zyric as shortcuts.
Since Zyric had already generated a Fuzan Vault, he could skip many things because he no longer needed to study them. Generating a Fuzan Vault requires a lot of concentration. You have to do this and that. But Zyric had already done all that, and, therefore, it did not matter whether he learned it now or not.
"Let's end today's class here. If anyone has doubts, ask," Miss Grace said to everyone.
"Uh, Teacher, I have a question," Zyric stood up and asked.
"Yes, go ahead," Miss Grace said to Zyric.
"In ancient times, when the mutation occurred, what era was that? Were dinosaurs mutated back then?" Zyric asked.
"No, in ancient times the mutation hadn't spread yet, nor were any dinosaurs, monsters, or animals mutated. People back then barely survived, hiding from dinosaurs, and it's not even known if people existed then; in a way, only dinosaurs lived then. After the dinosaurs perished and human civilization emerged, and millions of years passed, about two to three thousand years before our time, this mutation spread, after which Charles Vincent saved us all," Miss Grace told Zyric.
Zyric looked a bit confused. "Yes, okay," he said and sat down, but then started thinking.
"If I go to ancient times, there shouldn't be any mutation. Then why is there a mutation? Is that even ancient time, or do I go somewhere else?" Zyric thought to himself. But he was certain he stayed on Earth because when he reached that dark place, the moonlight looked just like the moon's, meaning it was Earth.
"But how did the mutation spread in ancient times? Or it could be that people today don't even know that the mutation spread in ancient times, or it could be something else entirely. Forget it, why do I care? I'm getting a chance to become powerful. There must be even better beasts than the Fat Insect there that I can tame. And when those beasts are injured, I will heal them with medicine, and they'll be tamed by me," Zyric started thinking this with a smile.
Meanwhile, Fat Insect was sitting in Zyric's Fuzan Vault, listening to everything.
"Hey, dummy, you did not know anything at that time and were innocent. That's why I got stuck with you. Ah, whose hands have I fallen into? But the other monsters won't be fools. Other dinosaurs and monsters will look at your face and instantly figure out what you want. Furthermore, in olden times, no one had the technology to bring a beast out of their Fuzan Vault. So, any monster thinks a hundred, or even a thousand, times before getting tamed by anyone. That's why they won't be tamed by you so easily. That's how it is in ancient times, because if any monster is tamed by you, it has to stay as a prisoner in your Fuzan Vault for life without ever coming out."
"And they don't know you can take your beasts out. In this time, people have made devices to take their beasts out. But you can just think and bring your beasts out. Now why it is like that, even I don't know," Fat Insect said to Zyric.
"You are quite intelligent," Zyric said to Fat Insect.
"Yes, yes, that I am," the Fat Insect said, explaining things Zyric hadn't paid attention to.
"The only strange thing is how I generated the Fuzan Vault." Zyric was thinking this when suddenly he remembered something.
"That stone! Oh yes, the large piece of that Divine Stone is inside me." Zyric thought this and placed his hand on his chest.
"Could it be that the stone itself became my Fuzan Vault?" Zyric wondered to himself. He didn't understand what to do now. Zyric wanted to get his body checked first. So, after everything ended, Zyric went to the hospital with his sister.
The doctor asked Zyric to wait.
The wait felt longer than it should have.
