The tension that had filled the place earlier had finally begun to ease, and everyone could breathe a little more freely. Just as Zyric was about to relax, someone approached him from behind.
A hand suddenly landed on Zyric's shoulder.
"Well done, boy! You are truly amazing. You did something quite incredible!"
It was the old man who had met Zyric earlier and given him the room.
"Oh, what are you saying? I just happened to know a bit about Driller Stones and how to distract them. That's why I managed to lead them away," Zyric said casually, as if it were no big deal.
With that, everyone began looking at Zyric with even more respect. They all knew what Driller Stones were and what they were capable of. Seeing how casually Zyric talked about them, they felt that he was simply trying to put them at ease.
After chatting with everyone for a while, Zyric returned to his room and quietly lay down to sleep.
Zyric hadn't been able to sleep much lately. He had to attend school in the morning and come here at night, which meant he wasn't getting enough rest. However, that night, he slept peacefully.
When he woke up the next morning, sunlight was streaming in through the window. He stretched his hand out of the window, and as soon as the sunlight touched it, Zyric teleported directly to his own room.
He immediately opened the door. His sister had already left, but she had prepared breakfast and packed a lunchbox for him.
Zyric quickly got ready, ate his breakfast, picked up his lunchbox, and headed straight to school.
"Come on, friends! Today, I'll show you my school," Zyric said with a smile to Velociraptor and Fat Insect.
Zyric also noticed something strange. Everyone who passed by him seemed to ignore him, as if he didn't even exist.
"How strange. No one here even knows who I am, yet over there, I've become the center of everyone's attention," Zyric said with a smile.
However, none of this mattered to Zyric at the moment because the things that had been happening in his life were far worse than being ignored by other people.
As Zyric entered his school, he noticed that everyone was looking at him with envious eyes. He had generated his Fuzan Vault quite early, placing him among those who had gained power at a young age.
"But what does it matter? Until he becomes strong and brave, what's the point of having a Fuzan Vault?" some people whispered, insulting Zyric.
However, thanks to Fat Insect, Zyric could hear every word they said.
Soon, Zyric noticed that there was still some time before the teacher arrived, so he decided to visit Dr. Hazel first. After meeting her, he went to a room filled with animals. They were ordinary animals, not beasts.
Those animals had always bullied and intimidated Zyric. He walked over and stood right in front of them, and they all immediately recognized him.
"How are you, kids?" Zyric asked with a smile, no longer afraid of them.
Seeing his attitude, all the animals were stunned for a moment.
"Hey, guys, look! Our old scapegoat is trying to scare us!" a cat said to the other animals.
Zyric could understand her words.
"And you—you talk too much. Look, if you don't bow down to me right now and surrender, I'll chew you all up raw," Zyric said, looking directly at the animals.
"How... how is he able to talk to us?" the cat asked before preparing to jump at Zyric and attack him, hoping to frighten him.
In the next moment, Zyric's eyes began to resemble Velociraptor's eyes, and the same kind of aura that radiated from Velociraptor began emanating from his body.
A terrifying dinosaur aura spread throughout the room, causing all the animals to become frightened.
Outside the room, several glass windows allowed passing students to see the animals inside. When they saw Zyric standing alone among all of them, everyone was shocked.
"Hey, isn't that Zyric? But what is he doing among those animals? He knows they don't like him, right?" many people asked in surprise.
"Hey, forget that! Look at what's happening. All the animals are scared of that boy!"
The next moment, all the animals slowly bowed their heads before Zyric in surrender.
"He tamed them... He tamed them all at once! How is that possible?" everyone exclaimed in shock.
Many of those animals belonged to other people, yet they were bowing their heads before Zyric. The sight was both terrifying and strange.
People immediately began recording the scene and uploading the videos everywhere.
After leaving the room, Zyric returned to his classroom because the teacher was about to arrive. As soon as he entered, he overheard several conversations taking place around him.
"You probably don't know because you weren't at school that day, but when Zyric generated his Fuzan Vault and did that amazing thing..."
News about Zyric had spread through school groups, college groups, and beyond, making him famous.
However, no one recognized his face. Everyone knew his name, but hardly anyone knew what he looked like. He had never participated in any tournaments, so people had never had a chance to recognize him. His sister had also done her best to ensure that his face wasn't revealed.
Zyric walked over to his chair and sat down. Once seated, he glanced at the seat beside him, where Raven was supposed to be sitting. However, she hadn't arrived yet.
Meanwhile, because Zyric hadn't been coming to school, his seat had been given to another boy, who looked both sad and angry.
For the past two years, the boy had been sitting next to Raven and enjoying her company. Even though Raven never paid any attention to him, he could at least look at her and make the other boys jealous.
But now, things had changed, and all the boys were teasing him.
A little later, Raven entered the classroom, and everyone turned to look at her. She walked over to her seat and sat down, looking a little sad.
"Strange. This girl always acts so proud, yet she looks sad today," Zyric thought in surprise.
"Whatever. What do I care? Diana probably gave her the money, so our story is over," Zyric said to himself before turning his attention to the teacher standing in front of the class.
"But she really does look troubled. Should I ask her what's wrong? But everyone's looking this way. If I ask her, it'll only make things worse for her," Zyric thought, trying to decide what to do.
Zyric tried to focus on the lesson, but Raven's troubled expression kept coming back to his mind. He didn't know why she was acting so differently today, and he wasn't sure whether he should get involved.
For now, he decided to mind his own business and focus on the lesson.
